[IC] Blood of Two Worlds

Dante walked over to help him with the food while Violet moved to help Ana sit back at the table. Violet came in and said “guys, I know I have no right to say anything…but why would she do this?”

Dante sighed and said “because she’s selfless. She’s never done anything for herself before another…it’s why I have been with her for so long…”

[Jazz]

Damien starts cracking egs into a bowl and begins whisking them till the yolk was broken and mixed. Once pans were heated and ready, Damien begins to pour egg into each one and let them be topped with what each person wanted on the inside before holding it when ready. He didn't know what to say. It he understood though. But now he was trying to put himself first before anyone.

Dante glanced at him and said “you feel differently?” Violet looked at Damien and said “Mr. Damien?”

[Jazz]

"Huh?" Looking up from his task toward Dante looking like he was caught off guard. "Sorry. I understand needing to care for yourself most times before helping others. I'm working on that myself. I've been in a pack for so long that I wanted to do things for myself. But I know needing help is important still from time to time." Damien explains.

Dante nodded and said “maybe you can talk sense into her? I’ve been trying for years but she just smiles and says she’s not as important as the work she does…I wish I could understand her but even after all this time…I only crack the surface…”

[Jazz]

Damien didn't know if he could do that. "I could try. But I don't know how well that will go." He says, flipping each omelet skillfully. "Almost done. Could someone pull the fruit salad out of the fridge please and set the table?" He asks.

Violet moved to get it out the bowl and Dante said “you can connect with her in a way none of us can. She is part werewolf. Maybe it’s her wolf side that makes it hard to put herself first”

Damien gave Dante a doubtful look at first, not sure about being able to connect to Miss Shade better but he figured it was worth a try. He nods and with a shrug. "Sure. I'll try." He decides.

Dante smiled and took already made omelets out as Violet took the bowl out. Ana was reading the tomb, looking thru its pages carefully. She looked up and said “it smells amazing…”

Finishing the last couple, Damien puts them on plates as and he sets them out, one for him the othe for Violet. He them grabs utensils and small bowls for the fruit and brings them to the table. "With the help of my assistant Mr. Dante." He says as he slides out a chair for Violet for her to sit and then scoot it enough for her before sitting g down himself. Saying a small thanks, Damien eats his omelet.

The others said a thanks but Shade seemed to say hers in a different tongue then they all dug in. Dante said “after breakfast we should head to the Gatekeepers office…after Lady Shade gets some blood” Ana sighed and said “I’ll be fine with this wonderful food…”

"As much as regular food is important, you need the energy to use that tome of yours should happen between after breakfast and the Gatekeeper. Even after that. It never hurts to think of yourself from time to time. Even felt the need to venture from my pack to see to myself. I am learning from it." Damien explains as he told Miss Shade what he told Dante.

Ana listened to the wolf then said “I see your point…alright. Does your offer still stand? Dante is still too drained from the attack last night and Violet needs a little time…”

Damien nods after he took another bite of his omelet. He swallowed before speaking. "The offer stands."

Ana nodded softly and Dante said “great. Why not after breakfast Violet and I work on finding the office while you two get Ana all settled and ready to go. Then we can head out”

[Jazz]

"Alright." Damien was finishing up his omelet before getting up. "I will take anyone else's plates for whomever maybe done." He offers. Taking anyone's offered plate, he takes it to the dishwasher as well as putting the other dishes that he used and loads them before getting it started. He looks to Miss Shade. "Whenever you're ready." He heads off to his room where there was enough space plus the soft surface on the bed so they both were as comfortable as possible. "I figured you would want privacy."

Ana followed him and closed the door partly and said “thank you…I’m not used to this style…it’s been years for me do be offered blood like this…I am sorry for this. But I do appreciate it nonetheless…”

She walked over and sat by him, her eyes shifting to red as she asked “do you have…a preferred place for me to bite?”

[Jazz]

Damien nods in understanding. "I'm not use to offering either." He says while sitting down in the middle of the bed. He shakes his head when asked what he was comfortable with. "Neck is fine." He says with a shrug. He then exposes his neck.

Ana blushed a little and said “alright…” she moved into place, at first from the side but then moved in front of him and she looked into his eyes. Then she said “I want you to hold my hand alright? And if you feel anything…strange? It’s normal unless your senses go off. If they do grip my hand tightly, okay? My bite venom has always worked differently then others…”

When he nodded or agreed she moved close to his neck and then gently bit into the skin. When she started drinking her fang venom started going and a rush hit the werewolf. A mix of a high and type of euphoria washed over him the more she drank from him.

Damien takes her hand as instructed, listening to her instructions further he nods. "I understand." For when he was bit he tightened his hold a little when feeling the rush. It was a rush he realized was different. The excitement he felt was certainly new but for some reason a welcomed feeling as Ana drank from him. He sat as still as he could, closing his eyes as he studied the emotions and his feelings.
