Rowan rubs her hand gently and when she starts trembling, he wraps his free arm around her gently. He doesn't scent her, since they were all given scent patches, but how he wishes he could. "It's okay. You did so good.." It's a soft praise, hoping she takes it for what it is.

Jason nods lightly, writing everything down and giving a small sigh. "It's been confirmed from Killian's case, that Conan was the one how kidnapped and raped him before. Thankfully.. since Killian was in a feral state he won't be charged with anything." He offers her a smile. "Thank you. We'll contact Rowan if we have any more questions. Try to get better." He waves to Rowan and the two agents leave, likely to go talk to the other Omegas and get stories.

Willow lets out a sigh of relief, relaxing once Jason leaves and leans into Rowan. “Is… Is it bad that I think that man deserved what Killian did to him? I know it was terrifying for me to witness it, but that man…” Her ears pull back and she crinkles her nose and brow before shaking her head. “I can’t believe monsters like him exist.” She turns her face so she can hide it in Rowan’s shirt.

The wolf gave a soft chuckle and sat on the edge of the bed, looking to her. He smoothed some hair gently. "Not at all. When I found him, he was covered in blood like that, stumbling around the town. When he told me what happened, I wanted to kill the man myself. Buuut.. you can't commit murder.." He leans in, whispering. "Unless you're feral." Then leans back.

"Plus, I wanted Killian to be able to help himself and get better. He's been with me for about five years and I can proudly say.. the only thing that triggers him now is his own heat scent and some really disgusting scents if he's not careful.. and some unnecessary touching if he's having a bad day." He really cared for Killian, which was good.

He smiled to her lightly again. "I can't wait for you to properly meet him. He's a good person on his good days, I promise." He chuckles lightly.

Willow Estelle Kinsley

“I’ll keep that in mind.” Willow whispers back before Rowan leans back. If he keeps smoothing her hair down, she might just fall asleep. She peers up at him as he explains how he and Killian found each other, causing Willow’s already high opinion of Rowan to soar.

Her eyes full of admiration, she returns his smile with a bright one of her own. “I can’t wait either. Even feral, his dedication to my safety and the others was… incredible to say the least.” She tucks her head back into his chest and takes a deep breath. Even if he had to wear a scent patch in the hospital, his scent is still in his clothes and Willow would be lying if she said she hadn’t missed it.

"That's his trauma brain when he's feral. His therapist told me.. if he's around other Omegas he'll protect them before himself because his feral brain doesn't want anyone to suffer the way he did. If he's not, he'll still fight, but it.. wouldn't be as fruitful. More just survival and trying to escape than actually.. fighting, I think. Something like that."

He kept petting her hair gently, smiling lightly. "If you hadn't been there, the Conan might have gotten away with what he wanted, especially if he was muzzled this time. So.. I have to thank you a little bit for being there, but I'm sorry it had to be in that kind of situation. I'm sure seeing people die is.. not the greatest, but know that Killian was protecting you. Especially because you're important to me and.." He chuckled sheepishly. "I guess even in feral brain, Killian knows that."

He helped her lay back in the bed again and pulled his tie off, loosely putting it around her neck. "Get some rest, okay? I'll be here when you wake up. I wanna see if I can check on Killian, but I'll go ask when you're asleep."

Willow smiles despite the morbid conversation, her brain focusing on the part where Rowan said she’s important to him. A light blush colors her cheeks as Rowan places his tie around her neck and helps her lay down. She holds the end of it to her nose, it wigggling as she smells it. She lays on her side, letting the IV’d arm rest on her hip and grateful they had used the dislocated shoulder’s arm for it so she could lay comfortable.

Willow holds Rowan’s hand close to her as she gets comfortable and yawns. “I’ll fall asleep quickly if you keep playing with my hair like that. Also, tell Killian thank you for me…” She mumbles tiredly. She really does need to sleep with how exhausted she is from the entire ordeal, she just wants to spend as much time with Rowan as possible right now.

Rowan chuckles and moves back to play with her hair in his free hand. "Of course, little one." He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Sleep now.. You're safe." He smiled as he watched her drift off. Once he knew she was asleep, he got up and moved to find the brothers. He smiled to them and nodded. "Willow is fine. Got looked at and told what happened. Any news on Killian?"

Both brothers shake their heads, almost in unison. “They haven’t told us much since they took him away…” Xavier turns his head to the general direction Killian went to. “Since neither of us can really claim him as a mate, they’ve asked us to wait out here for now.” A nurse came over with a hair tie for Xavier, which he took gratefully and quickly exchanged the neck tie in his hair for the much better alternative.

Just as Rowan was about to say something, a doctor came out. The beta looked around and then spotted them and offered a tired smile. "You can see him now. He's been sedated, cleaned and set up for fluids and the like. If he wakes up, try not to rush at him. He'll be pretty out of it. Let us know when he does wake up."

After that, the three of them were guided to a scent neutral room. "You can take off your patches in the room. There's a box by the door to reapply when you leave." He then left them to themselves, closing the door.

Killian was hooked up to the monitor and had a couple fluids hooked up. He was thankfully clean of blood and no longer had the muzzle on. He also wore a hospital gown and had a few blankets.

Rowan took off his pouch and moved over to lightly scent the area around Killian before going back and reapplying a patch. "Not too much. Don't want to overwhelm him."

Xavier nods. “Of course. I’m sure you could smell that Conan’s scent in that room.” He pulls off his scent patch and throws it away not long after Aethel has. “Plus there was so much of his own scent too.” He steps up to the bed and gently brushes some of Killian’s hair off his forehead. As much as he would like to linger, he steps away so he won’t scare the Omega too much if he awakes. He places his tie by one of Killian’s hands before going and getting a new patch for himself.

Rowan nodded and sat on the couch in the room with a sigh. He crossed his legs and looked to Killian. "It's called Aggression Scenting. Ferals do it when they either need to disorientate someone or posture. Since Willow was in the room, he was probably posturing, especially if the man was pushing his own out. He didn't want Willow to smell their scent, so he was pushing his out for her sake."

He reached up, starting to undo his braids from his hair. "Anything you want to ask me while I'm here? I'll be pretty busy with Willow and the sanctuary as soon as I'm out of here."

Xavier nods in understanding, wishing he could have shielded the bear from the cruelty but also finding himself incredibly proud of Killian at the same time. “Your sanctuaries, actually-” He starts to say just as Aethel speaks up.

“I got the info on Jewe- I mean, Willow’s sisters. I figured you might want that for her.” He pulls a piece of paper out of his jacket pocket and offers it to Rowan. He must have asked for some paper from the hospital as the other side of the paper is a blank form. “I mentioned to the feds that I wanted to help them end the Omega trafficking, so I’m sure you’ll see me again soon.” He puts a scent patch on and leaves the room.

Xavier raises an eyebrow in some surprise. He knew he and his siblings never liked it, but still comes as a surprise that Aethel would put himself in the line of fire like that. He clears his throat before looking at Rowan. “I want to turn the estate into a sanctuary, but I’m not sure where to start. Would you mind if I asked your assistant to help me with that? If he wants to, of course.”

Rowan took the paper and put it in his pocket on his pants. His suit jacket he noticed, had been put in a bag on the couch next to him. Good, he can get it dry cleaned. He then looked up to Xavier and rose a brow.

He leaned on the couch arm with his elbow and set his fist against his jaw. "That'll be a hard ask. Before you can even think about something like that you have to work on your reputation. Everyone who matters only knows you for your trafficking of Omegas. Knowing that, no Omega is going to want to do stay at your estate."

He eyes Xavier more, then looked to Killian. "But. If that's your end goal.. then yes. We can work towards it. The first time you'll want to do is get rid of anything that could be seen as trafficking and start doing public research about Omegas, their needs, all the good stuff and trying to make a name for yourself against discrimination. Killian would certainly help you with that, but only if he wants to."

Xavier nods, taking mental notes. “Well then I guess the next move is for me to finish law school and start making the Beowulf name mean something new.” He says, also looking at Killian but keeping his distance for now… even though he wants to be at his side. “I know it’ll take time to gain anyone’s trust… Hell, I don’t even know if everyone in the clan will go for it but… we have all that land on our estate that we can make better use of.”

Unable to bear it anymore, he walks back to Killian’s bed side and pulls a chair close to sit in. “I’m hopeful that we can change things for the better so that something like this is far more rare of a occurrence.” Gently, Xavier places his hand on Killian’s and gives it a tiny squeeze.

"Whoever doesn't respect your decision as new head, you need to either fire or kick out. You can't have people like that around while you're trying to change things. They'll only try to wrench your plans. Trust me, I'm fully knowledgeable in that sense." Rowan sighed softly as he stood.

"I'm going to go sit by Willow for a bit in case she wakes up. Let me know if he wakes up and asks for me. You should have my number somewhere." He offered a smile and then moved out of the room, the door softly clicking behind him.

“You’re right… I just hope my siblings feel the same. Well, we know Lucian and Aethel will… “ Xavier trails off and nods instead. He can worry over the details later. He glances at Rowan as he sighs and stands. “I will. I’m glad Willow found someone like you. She deserves it.” He says offhandedly before turning back towards Killian, brushing more hair off his face.

Finally after a few hours, there's stirring in the bed. A soft groan and a soft smacking of lips as Killian seems to finally stir awake. He takes a deep breath, getting a little bit of Rowan and a stronger whiff of Xavier and he gives a slow smile. He shifts more, eyes slowly opening and blinking a few times before he gives a groan.

His arm raises a little and he covers his eyes from the light in the room. Shit, why was it so bright in here..?

Xavier sits up as soon as he senses movement from Killian’s bed. He watches him carefully, concern etched into his expression. “It must be from how dilated your pupils got.” Xavier says softly as he grabs a cup of water. “You’re in the hospital - do you want me to turn the lights off for you?” He hesitates to touch Killian in this moment, even though he desperately wants to hold him.

It takes a moment for Killian to realize this person wasn't trying to hurt him. His whole body had stiffened when he heard the voice. He'd even held his breath, and then slowly he relaxed and gave a soft hum. He wasn't sure if he could form.. proper words yet, but the lights were killing his eyes right now and he wanted them off.

He shifted a little, lowering his arm and shifting to try to sit up more as he kept his eyes closed.

Xavier simply nods and stands up, flipping the switch for the lights above Killian’s bed first before moving to turn off the rest of the room’s lights and close the curtains. When Killian start to try and sit up, Xavier rushes to his side. “You don’t need to push yourself. I’ve got some water for you if you’d like and… I can get Rowan if you’d prefer…”
