Any Interest in Pathfinder 2e Revised?

Hey all!

After checking out some running games, I didn't see any running Pathfinder 2e games. Is there any interest in a Pathfinder 2e RP here?

The Player Core 1, GM Core, Monster Core, and Player Core 2 have all been released in the wake of Wizards of the Coast's change in license, and they're free online at Archives of Nethys:

Since it's free (and legally so), it might be a nice starting point for anyone interested in trying a TTRPG here.

I'm looking at GMing in a few different places, an in person game, a possible Virtual Table Top game (I'm thinking Foundry), and I was curious if there was any interest here.

@rush99999 That's great to hear. I'm thinking a small group of three players would be a good place to start. I'm also considering using a pre-made adventure from the official Pathfinder 2e stores; that way it would be a good jumping off point for both players and GM, and have consistent pacing through the storyline.

@meri Fantastic. It looks like there is a little interest here, which is great!

I wanted to test the waters with an Interest Check before I spent time preparing an adventure, so armed with the knowledge that some might be interested in playing, I'll need some time to flesh out the adventure and prepare. I've only ever played in TTRPG games before, and GMing sounds like a lot of fun. I'm GMing a game here on RPG with a co-host, but that feels different than a Table Top game.

In any case, let anyone else interested feel free to add their notes here, and when I'm ready I'll reach out to anyone who put their hand up to see if they're still keen. It might take me a week or so to turn this around.

I might be interested. I've always wanted to try getting into more traditional forms of RPing, but never had the chance. I'll take a look at the player core rules and get back to you.

Edit— Ooh,there are dinosaurs. There's been a character bouncing around in my head for a while. Is there a class like a beast master available?

@Cleveraptor Sounds like a plan. It's very similar to DnD (split off with 3.5 edition) but has some more (in my opinion) saner rules.

Okay, I'm in. I'm thinking of a dwarven ranger with a small dinosaur for a companion (probably Deinonychus or Troodon). Does that sound like something that could work?
