He sighs, "we can, but i half expect him to hear us talking about this before we can..."

Astra chuckles, "she might be done by now, or deny your help. But we can go check on them anyways." she moves and stands by the door, "shall we?"

Bane nodded and followed her out as Ash ran after them. By made it to the kitchen and Aura moved to Astra and said softly “boss…Dante has fed…we don’t know how long…his outside now. What do we do?”

Ash walked in and waved at Chi.

Astra stops suddnely, turning away from the group so they cant see how serious it is, and sighs.

Chi perks up and waves, "you're looking...better"

Astra glances at the group before turning back to Aura, " set our medic area for a big transfusion." she hands her a key, "this room has several fridges of a certain blood type. prepare it, tell chi to relax with his new friends"

Aura nodded and said “of course my lady. Leave it to me.” She moved and told Chi to relax and headed off. Ash watched her go and asked “I feel better…but is something going on?”

Dante was holding onto the fence at the far end of the yard, his nails now claws digging into his own flesh. He couldn’t risk going back now. The tinker smelled so good. He wouldn’t risk hurting her. Or anyone else in his family.

Astra formed a magic circle in the air and with a rush of wind, she was gone.

Chi blinked and looked at Ash with a hum, "Not sure...I mean, there's always something going on. Whatever they're doing, they obviously don't need me." He stretches and moves to serve up the pasta, "Besides, we've seen enough action today. I know Im ready for a day off, and I heal heal quickly."

A strong wind blows through the area, kicking up dust. From that dust, Astra slowly walks towards dante, but she stops several paces back. "...Dante. it must be serious, you dont look prepared for my arrival at all."

Ash frowned but Bane said “don’t worry kid. The lady knows how to handle her people. Whatever it is…” ash sighed and moved to sit down, rubbing her face.

Dante was shaking and glanced back at her, his eyes glowing bright red. “Please my lady…stay back…I can’t bare it…if I hurt you…my control is slipping…I don’t understand why…”

Chi nods, handing them bowls of pasta, "She was trained to take over, and she does her job."

She takes a ste closer, "I have a theory... Vampires feed on blood, but the quality of the blood matters, doesnt it? Magic is inate to elves, and we have a stronger and longer lasting vitality. I would be more nourishing than a regular human. Now suppose you were to smell the blood of fay royalty, newly awaken to the power of her blood. It stands to reasn that you would want her...but she is of shadow, so you also want to protect her" she frowns, "that's...both fortunate, and unfortunate."

Ash took the bowl as Bane asked “so may I ask what her story is? What the story is behind all of this?”

Dante panted then looked at her again “so…along with me not feeding…lately…the tinker has triggered this overload of hungry and protective nature in me?”

CHi stops and thinks, "Uh... she would be able to tell you better, but what I get is the black sun exists because someone saw the corruption in Helios. He decided to make a guild of people who saw the same corruption, as believed that working within the council would not work. um...she should be the one to tell you her past"

She looked softly at him, "Dante...you are a good soul, what has kept you from eating?"

Ash nodded, taking a bite of food as Bane was looking at the door way and muttered “this Dante fellow…what’s his story?”

Dante looked down in guilt and said softly “I…didn’t want to feed in front of the others…and finding fresh blood is harder lately…there are rumors…tainted blood…causing blood craze…I couldn’t risk it with my family around…”

Chi hesitates, "...thats even more not my story to tell. Not that he tells me much."

"Tainted blood...drugs? We can look into that for you. BUt you have to feed....I should be able to satisfy you for some time, right?"

Bane leaned forward and folded his hands together. Ash looked over and asked “Bane? What’s up?” Bane said “the name Dante right? I think I remember hearing of a Dante of the Royal Blood courts years ago…one of the Blood Princes…”

Dante closed his eyes and said “I couldn’t bare to ask that of you my lady…we have been together so long…you have done so much for me already…I’ll be fine once I get a grip…” he tried to stand, his legs shaking badly. “That cat…read me like a book…”

Astra walks up to him with slightly hurried step, coming to stabilize him "You saved me, and I have continued to shelter you...that's just how it is between us. If you need something from me, ask for it, and trust me to provide what I can." she smirks, "Besides, if you kill me, you have to take over. As for Chi....he is always more observant than people give him credit for, thats part of what makes him so helpful."

Chi hums, slurping some noodles quite loudly, "Yea? sounds interesting."

Dante laughed weakly and said “oh heaven no…I could never lead at you have…when you leave this world I’m following right after you…” he grunted and held his mouth, the burning returning. “Crap…it’s getting worse…”

Bane said “years back…there was a bloody war between the clans. Then the heirs of the clans came together and made the fighting end. They became the Princes of Blood…figured most of them were out and about in the world…didn’t think any would be here…”

Ash put her bowl down and said “why would a Prince be here? Helping like this?

SHe blushes slightly, "your declarations of loyalty are always so touching" she leans in and whispers, "...but dont make me order you to take care of yourself.."

Slurp, slurp, slurp. "Well...he is kind of princely. I assumed most vampires get like that after a while, but is it just limited to his station?"

Dante shook against her and said “I can’t…o can’t hurt you…your family to me…everyone here is…please don’t ask me to harm someone I treasure…”

Bane chuckled and said “no, it’s his nature I bet. And I think he is loyal to Astra for a reason unknown…” he got up and said “I’m going to go check on them” he left and Ash said “That’s Bane far ya”

Aura came in and looked around. “Is Dante back yet? I have the blood”

She is silent a moment, then hugs him tightly, creating another circle and another gust of wind to transport them.

Chi looks up, slurping a noddle, and licking his lips, "Blood...look at that, things should be handled." he looks at ash, "...id say he worries too mcuh, but then you'd just agree with me and try to use that against us later."

Astra, and dnate arrive in the room she specified earlier, everything set up and a large amount of blood bags made availabe, "my blood...ive been saving it for some time. You can feed from me, or these bags if you want."

Ash looked at him and said “and what does that mean?” Aura blinked and said “umm…”

Dante looked at her and said “why…what made you do this? This is too much…” the door behind them opened and Bane leaned on the frame. “Cause this is pack. No matter the story. My lady, in his state I don’t think his first blood should be the stored type. Have him sit then cut your wrist carefully. His hungry will take it from there”

"Oh, just thinking about a certain girl going about her business, doing whatever she wants despite the danger..and if her firned worries about her..' oh my god bane, you worry too much, even chi thinks so!' " he says, giving an example and then shaking his head, "im not going to hand you a tool youre going to misuse like that"

Astra stiffens at first, then chuckles softly, "...I was trying to preserve his dignity." A brief movement of shadow, an a cut soon appears on her shoulder, "...sorry Dante."

Ash looked away and said “I wouldn’t use that with Bane…he has every right to worry. His seen the worst in the world…been thru it too. He has a way to know when to leave it be or get involved. Like sending you today. He knew you would get a better chance of keeping me safe then he would”

Bane said “I get that but in his state his brain is running on nothing. His in pain. Don’t like seeing a honorable man like this in that kind of pain”

Dante smelled the blood and his eyes went all red. He moved too her shoulder, shaking as he fought not too. But then he moved his lips to the wound and drank from her, his hands on her so he could push away as fast as he could.
