[IC] Deadpool: Silent Cries

[Jazz]

It was like a night like any other and one Nick Fury did not think he would actually have to deal with. To see bodies littered, mangled, in pieces and a disaster. He had to step over as many bodies and blood puddles as possible while making his way through to find the man of the hour.

A few minutes had passed where in following the carnage that was left and found his target. To see the famous Merc With A Mouth dispatching the man he was after, Nick Fury waited till he was done before making his move. "Wade Wilson. Also know as Deadpool. Not so hard to find you if you know where to look." Walking into the room while Deadpool was too busy to notice his own surroundings.

Tonight was not the night to mess with Deadpool. It had been a long day. His girl was out of town for work for a whole dang month! And he couldn’t figure out why his TV wasn’t working. And that was even before the call for a fast job came in. He really needed to take that over night service off his ads.

But the money was good so he went ahead with the job anyway. I mean, what else was he going to do? Anywho, we now find Wade stabbing the guy in the chest and head. Normally it would be one shot and done but the guy turned out to be dealing with trafficking people including kids…that’s when Wade saw red and the insane voice in his head had been yelling killing cries for the last thirty minutes.

Fury now sees Wade drop the body and pause, the logically voice in his head saying the following.

Hey, someone else is here
Who cares! Let’s kill the guy more!
There’s no point if his already dead. In which he is. But now someone is staring at us. We should probably turn around now
Fine, but if is one of these guys, we stab him!

In which Deadpool turns around and tilts his head. “Well hello there…do I owe you money? I don’t think we have met…recently…”

[Jazz]

Fury with what we could call his "resting spy face", watched Deadpool though not too bothered with the death of a human trafficker but right now was not here nor there. "No. But I've been keeping my eye on you lately." Fury then paused as he looked around the room before resuming. "My name is Nick Fury. And I am in need of your particular set of skills for a dilemma we are having lately."

Deadpool blinked a few times and said “wait…Fury? Like…SHIELD Fury with the flying air ships and the…” he held up a hand and bent over a moment. “Okay…umm…we should go talk…away from the bloody scene…want some Shawarma?”

He started walking, humming to himself as he walked out of the warehouse. “Come o”

"Fine...Shawarma it is." Following Wade out of the warehouse as his team was making their way in and locking down the building.

After arriving at a Shawarma joing nearby and ordering, has them sitting at a booth in a corner. "So what have you noticed has changed lately?" He asks him as a general question.

Wade had ordered three wraps and was unwrapping one as he looked up. “Well, apart from the world going to crap every week…aliens coming out of the wood work…timelines are a mess…I can’t get my tv off the Cartoon Network…and it seems there are a lot more mutants out there then there was three months ago. So which of these things are you talking about?”

[Jazz]

"Mutants in the last three months. We've noticed a massive spike that is starting sound like an epidemic but yet has a slow decline. Oddly enough my top scientists aren't able to pinpoint the origin or even how it's happening." Fury explains almost flabbergasted with the last part while slowly unwrapping his wrap. He then pulls out a folder and slides it in Deadpools direction.

The folder contained reports on the different states but the large concentration being New York. But this also contained a graph showing the increase and decrease of mutations like the mutation would happen but slowly decrease like there was a time limit but yet some who were mutated it either disappeared or somehow stuck around for longer or permanently. "We're still working on the data."

Wade looked over the files, his background in military and underworld kicking in. “Seems like a real pickle. But why come to me with this? Isn’t this more an avenger or your own agents type of deal to handle?”

[Jazz]

Nick Fury was eating his one wrap while Wade looked through the folder. "Right now my teams are busy with intergalactic and everything else under the sun so to speak. Plus I need an underdog. One I know that cause damage. You seem to find more than anyone else right now."

Wade glanced over and raised an eyebrow, which only he could show thru a mask over his face. “What exactly are you wanting me to do here? I’m not sure I get your plan here…”

[Jazz]

"We need intel. As far as I'm aware you could go find the source of the mutations. You technically started that by getting rid of that gang. We're currently looking for clues of further involvement and so far we found canisters ontop of where they kept their prisoners. Since you are already a mutant. It shouldn't effect other Mutants. If you cand help me figure out how they're doing it, cripple them and shut them down." Fury explains further.

Wade put the file down and sighed. “Well…I do like saving the world. So saving the city should feel just as good. But…I’m sure my way of doing things isn’t up to your…standards. So I also guessing your not letting me lose in New York either…so who am I being partnered with?”

[Jazz]

"It's not how we prefer to do things but I have a feeling that this wouldn't go any other way. Any attempts we've tried haven't been successful. If it makes you feel any better Wade, you made a bloelw to them tonight." Setting down the wrap that was only half eaten. "As for your partner. I'm sure you wouldn't mind Logan joining you. Dr. Strange will help oversee your progress."

Wade smiled under the mask and said “well I would love to help them both out. We are great buddies now” he finished his second wrap then looked at Fury. “Does this mean Logan and I are in the avengers?”

[Jazz]

"Let's say your in the probationary period. Help on this and I'll think about it." Fury tries to compromise.

Wade dropped the third wrap and blinked. "Wait, really? Are you serious! Oh heck yes okay I'm in! Where would you like me to start? I am all the way in? This is great! Will I get to meet the others?"

[Jazz]

"Take it easy there Wilson. New York can be your start. I'll send you some list of Gangs that have turned up lately in the last 3 months. Share the info and figure out what's going on." Fury told him.

Deadpool slowly sat down as he moved his hands up a down to calm himself. “Sorry about that. Got over excited. Just been wanting this for a really long time…so am I getting Logan or is that a you thing?”

[Jazz]

"Logan will be your partner. He's already been informed on the situation." Fury assured. He then stands up from the booth. "Dr. Strange will expect you and Logan tomorrow. Any questions?"

Wage blinked again then raised his hand like a teenager in high school. “Teacher, where am I meeting with my partner for this project?” He tilted his head, looking innocent.
