Kitty

She didn't know how, but she'd managed to do it. She slept through the night, despite the music taunting her, teasing her, tempting her to explore. She sat up that morning and stood up on the nice carpeted floor. She jumped and almost, almost screamed when a blue orb appeared in front of her. Carmen, come with me. Wait... Didn't she remember that voice? She followed it, feeling as though she should, to the dresser and then inside, pushing open a hidden door that lead to a room she could have sworn she'd seen before. The orb morphed and formed into a man.

She had seem him before! He was the man that spoke to her! "Afternoon, Carmen. I've called you again to ask about the guests. What do you think of them so far?" He asked, looking at her with his bright blue eyes and tanned skin. He looked very... exotic to her, save for his nice suit and tie. "I... They're all pretty nice. They seem to generally get along well... Booker is very kind to women.. or people in general. Liddy is... scared and nervous. And a few of the others have.. disappeared." She said, looking up at him. He flashed her a wide smile. "I know. They no longer wished to be here, so I removed them. There's no need to worry about that." He explained and she nodded her head knowingly, unaware of his lying tongue. In truth, he'd killed them. Because, after all, once you come, you can never leave.

"So, what are we going to do?" She asked, curious. The man shook his head slowly, a smile still etched onto his face. "Even if I told you, you'd just forget after leaving." He told her, walking over to a shelf on the other side of the room. "That's all I needed, thank you." He said and then black. When she woke up, she was back in her bed, getting up, a smile on her face. She'd managed to sleep through the night!

Jared really didn't know what to feel about what Carmen said about doing anything to achieve your dream. There was a little momentary pause in his thought process. He knew what he wanted, but did he really 'want' it? 'Of course I do,' Jared mentally berated himself, 'I wouldn't be here if I didn't.' Though, despite seemingly coming up with an answer, he remained silent until the butler fellow, Ianto Jones or something, mentioned that he was gonna deliver them to their individual resting quarters, something it seemed Carmen was really interested in. She asked him if he was ready to head off and follow the man.

"Yeah," Jared nodded with an unintentional mental sigh of relief. He, too, had to admit that he was a bit interested in seeing what the quarters would be like. He stood up and followed after the butler and his conversation partner. It only took a few moments, but soon the brunet located the bedroom with his own name emblazoned on the nameplate. He entered the room and much to his pleasant surprise, he saw what meager supplies he brought with him all nicely placed in the room. Jared waltzed right up to the bed and decided to collapse onto it. There seemed to be some pleasant music coming from one of the other rooms, and soon after getting absorbed in it, he found himself drifting off to sleep.

When Penelope finally awoke the sun had long set and the only light pouring into the bathroom came from the adjoining bedroom. Groggily she pulled herself from the water which had grown somewhat cold and wrapped herself in one of many fluffy towels neatly stacked in the bathroom cupboard. She exited the bathroom and returned to her bed where her clothes for the evening were laid out from before. She dried herself hastily, and then slipped into the thigh length golden night gown and matching floor length robe. Both were shimmery, and lined decoratively in silver lace.

Penelope sat down on the bed then for a moment. It was soft and plush, and almost begging her to sleep. With heavy eyes she contemplated taking a stroll anyway, but in the end, it was a plea she couldn't refuse. And though originally Penelope had planned to spend the remainder of her evening exploring the manor, her nap in the tub seemed to have tired her out somehow, and so she instead retired to bed, leaving her need for exploring to another day.

Ian

He sighed as he walked around his small dank servant's room. The least O could have done was give him better accommodations than the guests. He shook his head slowly and walked over to the door, dressed and ready to go. He closed the plain brown door behind him with a solemn click and then made his way upstairs to wake the guests. He walked up the stairs, fixing his small black bow tie as he did. He made sure his snow white hair was in order and then proceeded to knock on each and every door. A few of the guests had been... removed. So few remained. Was this going to be the state of things? Ian chuckled. He hoped not. O didn't have much time left... He shook the thought away and began knocking on the doors with guests in them. "Time to rise and shine, lovely guests!" He yelled with a small smirk, his voice unusually chipper. He stood at the end of the hallway, waiting on the guests.

Lidiya was startled by a voice and a sharp pounding on her door. "Time to rise and shine, lovely guests!" She sat upright. She hadn't even realized she'd fallen asleep. She was still sitting by the window, her violin now in her lap. Her bones ached and protested as she stood, stretching and rubbing the kinks out of her muscles. She hadn't even bothered to change from the night before. Padding along the floor of the room she threw open the closet door, intending to put away her things. She gasped instead. The closet was filled with wonderful dresses. There was silk, brocade, lace, velvet... all in wonderful colors and they were all so beautifully antique. She almost felt afraid to touch them. Reaching out she ran her fingertips across the soft materials. This was so much better than the rags she had. Rifling through the dresses she picked out a pale lavender renaissance style dress with long sleeves. Slipping out of her clothing she pulled on the gorgeous dress. With lots of effort and many perplexed looks she managed to get it on right, lacing up the back. The sleeves covered her scars nicely, the body accentuating her stick thin form but not making it look grotesque. She smiled. The dress was heavy but the feeling of it was wonderful. Brushing out her thick hair, the small woman went to work braiding it into a simple updo. Of all the things for the forlorn little woman to revel in... Here she was playing princess dressup and feeling wonderful about it. Opening her door, she poked her head out into the hallway to see what was on the agenda for today.
