[OOC] Heroes: The Fall

Just out of curiosity everyone, I thought I'd run a few things by everyone to see what everyone thought.

1. Certain characters from the comics making an appearance later on. If anyone is interested just let me know.
2. Certain characters from the comics being controlled by players. I think I'm going to limit one comic character per person to keep things level if anyone is interested.
3. Each player gets a villain to be controlled. Although the Villain would either be killed at some point or turned good as an alternative to being killed. Let me know if anyone is interested. I would have to approve the villain however.

I'm pretty cool with all of those, although I can't really think of any canon characters I'd like to play at the moment. Been thinking about villain ideas for a while, though, but... We'll see how that turns out. ^^;

I like the idea of comic characters later on but I don't think I'll want to rp as one. I'm not super good at rping as multiple charectors.

Las Vegas is a city of 136 square miles. I find it hard to believe that in that entire city, still full of people, that a restaurant would not exist. Even in the worst sections or New York city with gang wars on every street corner, there are still restaurants.

Fuckers gotta eat somewhere.

Restaurant, yes, but... That one in particular seems a bit too high class, um...

Having waiters doesn't make a high class restaurant.

Sonic has waiters.

And so does Waffle House.

A waiter doesn't have to have a suit and tie on. They're just the person that shows you your table and brings the food out.

That... Wasn't what I meant at all but okay.

Just think it feels kind of out of place when I assumed that Vegas was more of a "post-apocalyptic ruins where people have to fight to survive" kind of place.

I mean this isn't a zombie apocalypse or anything.

Crooks and villains may be assholes, but they like nice things just like everyone else.

I can't image the guys who took over Las Vegas would let it be turned into a total shit pile.

The first post says that Vegas has been destroyed and devastated, though.

I said in my post we were in the nearest standing city to Las Vegas, and if not exactly in Vegas, there's definitely still a standing city someone near by. People like to deny what's happening, and with the villain's wars subsiding any restaurants that went down have probably been put back up. The same with the people, there's got to be businesses still maintaining after the villain wars, hence business woman.
