Favnir's large body slipped outside of his own cave, onto a ledge large enough to support his body. He gazed down at the forest below him with bright orange eyes, his nostrils flared and he took in a deep breath. He crouched slightly then jumped off the ledge, spreading open his wings as he neared the tree tops, flapping them hard to level himself and stop his downward movement, the angel then adjusting to swing over the forest. His eyes studied the area, looking for anything that could effect his friends below. Not spotting anything he dropped lower, as to hide his immediate location just in case. Several of the tops of the trees brushed over his belly scales, a sensation he has grown use to over the years. He flew a small clearing that was just big enough for him to land in without his wings getting caught in many of the branches. The hard flaps of his wings created a wind, causing the leaves and weaker branches on the trees to be blown around due to it.
He folded his wings back against his back and sides, looking around the area before walking on a well worn path. Not long afterwards, he arrived at the edge of the village like camp. It was located in the tallest part of the forest, many small houses scattered throughout the area, easily fitting under the branches. The houses were earthly colors blending in as well as they can with the surroundings, leaves as well as green paint was used to cover the roofs to blend it into the leaves above if anyone was looking down at the area. That didn't mean camouflage was the only protection. Around the camp, although quite the distance from the main part, was the perimeter. There was no real sign or mark that showed where it was located, only sentries posted in the trees were watching. Each sentry was armed with a bow, and a horn that would sound a alarm if a major attack was coming. There was little hesitation if someone coming to the boarder could be considered a threat, and couldn't prove that he or she was with the alliance after the nearest sentry asked two main questions, who are you and why are you here
In the camp, the largest building was located in the center under the largest tree, the headquarters of the camp, and that was where Favnir was heading. As he walked, he nodded to the various elves that were going along with their daily lives when they looked at him, noting some were still looking at him with distrust. He then stopped in front of the building, sitting down now, watching it as he waited for the leader of this group of refugees to emerge.
