Favnir's large body slipped outside of his own cave, onto a ledge large enough to support his body. He gazed down at the forest below him with bright orange eyes, his nostrils flared and he took in a deep breath. He crouched slightly then jumped off the ledge, spreading open his wings as he neared the tree tops, flapping them hard to level himself and stop his downward movement, the angel then adjusting to swing over the forest. His eyes studied the area, looking for anything that could effect his friends below. Not spotting anything he dropped lower, as to hide his immediate location just in case. Several of the tops of the trees brushed over his belly scales, a sensation he has grown use to over the years. He flew a small clearing that was just big enough for him to land in without his wings getting caught in many of the branches. The hard flaps of his wings created a wind, causing the leaves and weaker branches on the trees to be blown around due to it.

He folded his wings back against his back and sides, looking around the area before walking on a well worn path. Not long afterwards, he arrived at the edge of the village like camp. It was located in the tallest part of the forest, many small houses scattered throughout the area, easily fitting under the branches. The houses were earthly colors blending in as well as they can with the surroundings, leaves as well as green paint was used to cover the roofs to blend it into the leaves above if anyone was looking down at the area. That didn't mean camouflage was the only protection. Around the camp, although quite the distance from the main part, was the perimeter. There was no real sign or mark that showed where it was located, only sentries posted in the trees were watching. Each sentry was armed with a bow, and a horn that would sound a alarm if a major attack was coming. There was little hesitation if someone coming to the boarder could be considered a threat, and couldn't prove that he or she was with the alliance after the nearest sentry asked two main questions, who are you and why are you here

In the camp, the largest building was located in the center under the largest tree, the headquarters of the camp, and that was where Favnir was heading. As he walked, he nodded to the various elves that were going along with their daily lives when they looked at him, noting some were still looking at him with distrust. He then stopped in front of the building, sitting down now, watching it as he waited for the leader of this group of refugees to emerge.

lasaara looks over at the fields of grain and sighs. it had only been a few days in this form and on this damnable horse but she was already getting uncomfortable, wanting spread her wings and fly... but the goods shipment she had with her required that she remain in this form for at least another day so that she could get her payment from the guild in laroche city... but oh how she wished to fly with the birds above...

after a few days of travel she'd finally reached her destination: laroche city! it's not quite as bustling as the capital but by god it had good coin and a plethora of troubles a smart dragon like herself could expand her hoard by solving. upon arriving at the gate she tells the guards about her purpose and they let her pass after a small check to make sure none of her goods were contraband. after finding just some hides and a crate of apples they allow her passage, not minding the fact that she prevents them from seeing her eyes and just thinking she was a sister after she goes. after dropping her goods off at the local guild and selling the damn horse and cart her pay came to a hefty 37 nobles(silvers) and 12 farthings(coppers) (i'm assuming we're going with european medieval currency...).

after pocketing the cash and doing a few stretches to try to ease her discomfort she heads to someplace cheap with good ale and a hot meal to spend the night.

Lurias carefully placed on the formal armor. Dragons knew only the tongue of wealth, and those with wealth. The ornate piece was covered in swirls of silver, and sported a golden trim around the shoulder plates. It was solid green otherwise, beautifully crafted together from the various metals used, shining like the morning star. He'd wear it more often, but it prevented almost all forms of movements, and could barely stop a rusty spoon. He sighed, placing on the overly decorated and wholly impractical helmet on his forehead, his black hair flowing through it like liquid night. The sound of crashing footsteps heralded the arrival of the dragon, and Lurias stepped out of his home and war base to once more speak to him.
"Greetings, Favnir. I must thank you once more for being so graceful as to help our people." Courtesy, Lurias reminded himself. It was a bad idea to be impolite to a two ton beast that could breathe fire. "Tell me," Lurias continued, getting down to business, "Does the Alliance move against us?" His scouts had reported nothing, but the dragon had the advantage of a bird's eye view.

Favnir nodded his head as Lurias stepped out of the building. The nod was only slightly lower then it was to the others, but he considered himself to be on the same level at Lurias. If not higher than him. His eyes gazed at the armor that adorned the leaders body, his eyes hanging on the silver and gold that was on it. As a dragon, the precious metals were of interest to him, but he simply focused on what was being said. He spoke, his voice was deep and rumbling," Greetings, Lurias. It is my pleasure to help your people against the foul human beasts. I have not seen sign of the Alliance moving against us, but I would assume that they are still searching for us. The more that wander into our forest and don't return creates more of a suspicion to the leaders of their vile race. We only have so long until more come to investigate." He snorted, a flicker of fire escaping through his nose," What a shock they will recieve if they do come."

Raphion walked through a town. He wore plain travelers clothes over his armor to help keep attention away from him. He stopped by a butchers to grab some meat. He paid then left. He left the town then headed to the forest nearby he didn't know if the resistance was in this on or not. So he was just going to get started searching it.

Bazgulub Were walking the lone dersert with his mighty axe Morgathar. The two of them have crussed the great Medali'sha dessert and now finally coming near to some greener times for the eyes of his. Having walked for at least two hours after he had seen the end of the derssert he sat op camp with a little fight and some meat that he had hunted down as a predihad tried to see if it could make, Bazgulub its pray. Only to find itself cut in half, one clean cut. Taking all the guts out and finding an big stick to put the preditor on it he hold it over the fire and waited till it was cooked right through. Morgathar was not far from him as he guarded that big battle axe with his life as that axe was the key to unite all the orcs and take over his fathers tribe and finally bring upon an golden age for orcish kind and to make it even better it was him that would become the new War chief of them all

Eating he looked at his mighty axe and smiled with his helment off. Reviling his Orcish face. He was the tradisinoal green skin with red eyes and two fangs sticking out of the mouth but at the left eye he had an deep pinkish red scar from across the face and an scar on the chin showing that he was indeed heardned. Bazgulub after eating the whole thing sat at the fire enjoying the warth it was giving off, deciding it was best to head the raod again he stood up and pissed on the fire and kicked dirt on it and now went again to walk into the green lands

The tavern is loud as a group of elves in the corner sing an old elven folk song. Or at least they thought they were, what came out was more of a well-intentioned slurring hum, affected by more than a couple of drinks. However there's a rather unusual group in the tavern. A group of travel-weary orcs, each of them tough and battle-hardened. Short snippets of conversation caught by draconic ears reveal that they're here based on rumors that the wielder of Morgathar is in the area. These orcs would like to beat the owner to a pulp and claim the axe for themselves, the leader setting himself up as the perfect chieftain.
There were the usual rumors about the latest raid by the Resistance, and the latest law passed by the Alliance, and that some lord had done something absolutely scandalous that nobody who had anything important to do cared about. The presence of the orcs, instead of diminishing the rowdiness, instead causes great merriment as the leader buys a round of drinks for the room, and suddenly all problems with strangers are forgotten. Alcohol makes all men equal, one could say. However, you do hear of another interesting snippet, which is that a certain lord is paying money for a hunt on foxes for some odd reason.
Lurius smiled, nodding, the tension in his stance decreasing. He had liked the dragon, and been the one who had originally suggested involving the dragon with the resistance. He had a certain fire in his heart, which was to be expected, Lurias thought to himself. "If they discover that we have a dragon on our side, they will send many men and mages. Even scales such as yours cannot protect your eyes and mouth from arrows. I would prefer it if we could keep your involvement secret, lest we all be killed." Lurius thought for a moment about how to proceed. While the dragon was powerful indeed, he was not at all stealthy, and would draw the attention of all wherever he went. However, the mission Lurius had in mind was too important to conceal the dragon's presence for much longer. "Tonight, we strike at the Alderian barracks within the nearby town. My men will surround the building. We're relying on you to torch it. Will you aid us in this?"

After what felt like an eternity wandering without aim through the trees, Raphion heard an odd voice from the woods. It was a beautiful voice to be sure, although it had no visible point of origin. It sounded faintly musical, a light woman's voice. "Tell me, dear knight. What brings you to the forest?" There's an odd wind rustling through the branches, and you feel strangely uncomfortable, despite there being no visible threat. However, something in the voice sounded.... odd. Not evil intent, or even a nervous edge, but rather a way of speaking that didn't sound entirely..... human. Or elven, for that matter.

Raphion put his hand on his knife then said to the voice "I seek a group of people. I don't know where they are but I know their intent. I want to join them in their fight." Raphion wasn't sure if he got his point through while being discreet enough in case it wasn't who he wanted.

Ryu pulled the hood over his head. It hung just over his eyes and shadowed half of his face. He had walked this well worn path for what seemed like hours. Fields of grain were on either side of him. Ryu had stopped more then once to sniff the grain, it's scent was interesting to him. After a while a town came into view, and Ryu spotted guards stationed at the gates.

As he approached, attention was turned upon him. He was stopped by one of the guards. "Why do you come here?" The guard asked, towering over Ryu. Ryu responded smoothly, head tilted slightly downwards. "Visiting a friend." After a tense moment, the guard opened the gate. "Very well... Welcome to Laroche City."

Ryu murmured a thanks and entered hurriedly. He brushed strands of hair off the side, eyes darting back and forth. He did not see any papers posted with his face. After walking a few blocks, seeing no signs, he started to relax. Ryu stopped by a tavern, unsure if to enter or not.

Favnir listened to him speak, his scaly head tilted to the side. He grunted then nodded at his statement, ruffling his wings. His wings would also be a weaker point for arrows. He said," what you say is true. The arrows would cause damage. And with the knowledge of a dragon, precautions will be made with the equipment and the mages will work to block my fire." Razor sharp claws dug into the earth, tearing it up, annoyed at the thought of the puny humans being able to kill him. Dragging himself out of the sour thoughts of the humans, he tilted his head further, a grin spreading over the dragons face, revealing the razor sharp teeth to their fullest. He spoke, thinking as he did. "I could fly high above the ground, out of sight until I'm needed. As for you, it would be necessary to hide your movements as well as the direction you came from. Throw them off the trail. I would assume you have that covered however " He then said," when will we depart?"

((Aki? Well, nice of him to stop by for a visit, but I think he's rather lost if he's in a forest in Heartstone.))
The singsong voice laughed, and an odd spectacle greeted Raphion. A beautiful maided, impossibly so, gliding through the forest. The rusting wind seems to fall silent at her passing, her eyes the purest green, wearing a long, flowing robe. She less walks and more glides towards you, and you wouldn't be surprised if under the dress she was, in fact, floating. Her presence makes your skin tingle oddly, and you notice your instincts are telling you to both hug her and run like hell. The odd woman has a mesmerizing presence, as well as a confusing one. "What a brave young lad, to seek people in a forest that is not his own."

The town seems quiet enough, as most elven towns do. The guards are Alderians, supposedly sent to keep the Resistance in check, but they're new recruits. The Resistance hasn't been spotted anywhere near here, and the local dragon hadn't caused any trouble. After the first few years of hiring famous dragon slayers, the populace had realized the dragon had no intention of burning down their houses and stealing their daughters, and grew tired of the expensive mercenaries. You don't hear anything about lord Adel, but you know that his reach is wide. Even if this place is not yet hunting foxes and burning their corpses, it won't be long before they do. Although Elves might object, due to feeling a connection to nature, the human soldiers would feel no such compulsion.

Lurias nodded. His men were quite capable of evading notice until the time to strike came. "We depart when night falls, at the changing of the guard, in three hours time. I recommend you get some sleep." Lurius knew he would, certainly. With a small informal nod, he turned and returned to his sleeping quarters to begin the arduous task of prising off the ornate armor.

Bazgulub Was walking down the road with his mighty axe Morgathar on his shoulder and with his powerfull and strong armor which he had called Degula,on himself. The green skin was looking at the greenland " Such wonderfull folowers and grass, the earth mother must have it good here. These elves treat the earth spirit quite well it seems. Morgathar what do you say are they treating the enements good?." Bazgulub smiled looking at a nearby Town slowly coming to sight * Bazgulub of the Galkagi tribe. The earth mother always has it best within its own heart. The elven people have takken good care of the earth mothers gifts and would never dare to abuse it, or hurt it * Bazgulub noded, knowing full well why not to hurt the earth mother. The sharmen back in the tribe used to tell stories about how our forefathers were the ones that created the dessert because we thought that we could control the earth mother, but it turned all over when she became displeased with the orcs and made our lands to desserts.

Bazgulub looked up smiling, seeing the sun. He was still walking the road but was much more closer towards the Town that he could see. Seeing flields of Grain which he had never seen with his own eyes. Only heard from other orcs that had returned after they had proven their strenght and brought honor to their tribes * Ah i wil lreturn to my tribe with the decalreing that I have become the Warcheftain of the orcish race uniteing it under one banner, The banner of the Horde !* Bagzulub was now entering the town and heading towards what looked like an taven

Ryu rifled through his pockets, finding just enough coin for at least one drink. He entered the tavern, a weary sigh escaping his lips. Ryu made sure to not draw attention to himself, avoiding eye contact and as quiet as a mouse. Ryu took a seat on a stool, away from the other rowdy groups. He ordered the cheapest alcoholic beverage they had, staring down at the small wooden table. He listened carefully to conversations, but nothing that much out of the ordinary so far. He was relieved to hear nothing of foxes and began to think he might be able to stay here for a few days. But he definitely wouldn't have any more money to spend the night here. A cunning smile spread across his face, peeking up at the people around him. He scanned for someone that was drunk enough and who looked wealthy enough to carry something good. If he could pickpocket some more coin, Ryu would be able to get a comfortable room.

Raphion kept his hand on his knife unsure of this lady. Raphion studied the Lady then he gave a slight bow and said "Thank you for your kind words. However the group I seek are my kinsmen. We may not be the same but our goals are to free the people from the Alderian Empire's rule. we should be neighbor countries not one country."

Favnir nodded and said," I'll fly a bit before hand, keep an eye on things. I'll see you in three hours." He stood, winding his way back to his path. He walked, breathing in deeply through his nose. He might also hunt a bit before hand. He took to the sky once he reached clearing, flying out far past the perimeter before going higher, straight up. After reaching the appropriate hight he leveled out. From the ground, he would appear to be a large bird. He gazed down at the ground, still having shocking clarity. He flew to the edge of the forest, searching for any odd movement inside the trees.

As you walk through towards the tavern, you feel an odd tingling sensation all over your skin. A challenge is nearby, something by which you might prove your worth. Unfortunately, this sixth sense doesn't tell you what the challenge is, or where it would be. Fortunately, however, at this very moment five orcs burst out of the door, laughing, before spotting you. Their eyes linger on your axe.

Nobody in the inn seems to be particularly rich. It's the commonfolk, the rabble, the general blur of faces who plow the fields and support things far more important than they themselves could ever hope to be. However, a short enquiry informs you that there is a rather rich gentleman who has hired the best room in the house. He's retired to his chambers, but this place isn't known for it's locks. An elf who managed to become friendly with the Alderian court, as many less nationalistic elves decided to try. He would be an easy target, both for his liver and his money......
