All the while, Patella was shrinking further and further into the background. Her heart was beating fast.
I'm in the same room as the king! she thought. She was very afraid that she would make one wrong move, and he would have her head.

Ursa turned to the servant girl.
"Patella, do you have any magic?" he asked kindly.
"Y-yes, your majesty!" she replied quickly.
"What kind of magic do you use?"
"Limpet magic, your majesty!" Ursa sighed, the girl was too afraid of him that she couldn't think clearly. Meanwhile, Patella saw this as a bad sign.
Did I not answer quickly enough? Is he going to cut of my head? wondered Patella in fear.

"Patella, you have nothing to fear. I prefer to avoid punishing people if I possibly can. You can talk around me." Ursa said.
"Y-yes, your majesty." Patella took a deep breathe.

At that moment a white owl with a small note tapped to its leg came crashing into the room causing Sammy to duck to avoid being hit by the owl which crashed into the floor with a loud squawk.

" good evening ! Remember me?" Kevan said. Gao 's ear shot up." I remember you...that fancy cat guy..."

Morgan, currently traveling through the shadows out of randomness, hears someone crying and decides to see what's wrong, forming a few feet away from Ris. "Hey, are you alright?" She asks loud enough for Ris to hear her, but not wanting to get too close just yet, about 5 feet away from her.

Gao sprinted off and followed ris's scent. Soon enough he saw her with another person. " ris! There you are!"
