[IC] A kingdom in need

It was the first day of the help mission, those whe were sent could see the big walls from the Gunara kingdom and it was already visible the state of the city, the fields were completly destroyed, corpses everywhere, even some soldiers seemed to be about to puke.
Rijan was sleeping in last chariot of the caravan with his hat hos face, he had seen this kind of things before so he felt he could relax

Misaki has been newly assigned the 1st Help battalion and this was her first mission, but wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, it was worse. It was an awful sight, dead corpses lying in the dirt, devastation everywhere and the stench of fight and blood in the air. "Hey hey don't fall behind, close up! This isn't even the begining so hang in there!" she commanded some soldiers as she passed by with her horse. She had to maintain the moral between the soldiers to avoid unnecessary problems. As the caravan approached the Kingdom, Misaki was impressed as she saw the huge walls, but she hid those feelings and stayed cold and though outside. "Giddyup" she said to her horse to move on, it was unclear what would await them once they are inside...

Eri stayed seated, she adjusted her hat and took a look at what was going on. Having been in medical service, she'd seen more corpses than most, but it still slightly sickened her and sent a chill down her spine. She was glad to be there to help Gunara, but she still wondered whether it was too late to do anything meaningful for them. She brushed off invisible dirt from her uniform and gave out a sigh of relief that she was closed in and not outside just yet. She needed to collect her thoughts before heading out.

Tedikashi looked around, the general disarray of things seemed to be to much for some, even soldiers, he was just happy he could help, be a good Samaritan and all, and maybe sell afew wares, he would need the money as he wouldn't be able to leave for a while. He looked around, the place was a total wreck, though that's just what he expected, the corpses seemed out of place, some of them were clearly bested by the unfortunate events, but others seemed to have been smashed by blunt force trauma, or slashed, thought all of them seemed mangled all together, made him feel sorry for them, thought through his tengu mask no one could see so.

A bird got in thec charriot and started to sing, Rijan was forced to open his eyes quite annoyed and tried to kick the bired away, he yawned really loudy what made those near him laugh. ijan jumped off the charriot and saluted everyone, he then waved his hand to Misaki which a huge smile knowing that kinf of things annoyed her "oohhh,,so this is how things are.." he said and triped because of a body "excuse me" he said to the bodie and continued walking as if he had triped with a rock

Eri joined in the salute reply, to stay unnoticed. She hadn't spoken to anyone yet and was determined not to make any friends this time. She was young, but old enough to know when the situation could turn and stab you in the back. But she was just a simple medical aide, noobody need to buy her any moments of their time. Instead she nervously twiddled her thumbs as she waited for the others to make a move.

"So this is supposed to be my commanding officer huh?..." Misaki sighted after she too saluted. Then she made her way to Rijan to discuss a few of the next steps of the mission. 'Whoa, easy!' she told her horse to slow down as she closed up to Rijan. Then she saluted strictly and said "Sir, we almost reached the gate. Are there any orders?".

Rijan saluted as a civilian, waving his hand. "Orders you say? hm...the old man told me what to do....but i forgot!" he said with a huge smile,"i guess we will just go and say "hi" to everyone and explain we came to help" he said rubbing the back of his head, even if they were the king's orders we would simply forget them.

[Aerith]

Eri listened to the commander with an appalled look, not like anybody would have seen it but she was slightly worried now. If he'd forgotten the mission, it'd be a good choice to head back now before they got into some bad business. But she didn't say anything, it would get her unwanted attention. She held her breath for a moment, then released it.

Tedikashi whistle as he set up his stand, a make shift wooden stand with a sign which read 'food you guys, food' which made him laugh every time he looked at it. A man came over and yelled for tedikachi to give him everything he had, but was quickly silenced by a an armbar followed by a kick to the face. He sighed remembering that he was old and people were going to try to take advantage of that. Quickly he sat down and placed a paper down that said 'open' and looked around, people seemed to be living in anarchy, they would need as much help as they could get, he was going to sell more than just food, he was going to be giving money, protection, and whatever people needed.

"W-What? Are you serious?" Misaki couldn't believe what she just heard. Then she paused and made a deep breath to calm down. After doing that she continued "Well, I guess it can't be helped, I will go ahead and check the status of the head of the caravan. Maybe you remember some of the orders we were given in the meantime" having that said she saluted 'Sir!' and made her way to the front of the caravan.

Rijan continued walking and spotted Eri "hmmm" he walked to her side and smiled "not the best place to be in, huh?".
The soldiers that were behind tried not to laugh, they knew Rijan was quite a womanizer.
"but worry not" Rijan said and put his arm around Eri's hips

Eri's eyes widened, she didn't want to be noticed, none the less she did not want to be noticed as a frail young woman. She looked Rijan in the eyes, knowing full well he was the commander and asked the most simplest of questions. "Are we there yet?" She asked quietly, her green eyes flashing with question. She looked away as soon as she felt the arm around her hip.

tedikashi handed a woman a large bag of rice as she walked away he looked at her rear, is wasn't a nice thing to do but it was the least she could do for him, that cost him quiet a bit.

Rijan smiled and pointed at the walls, "can you see them?" we had to get there he said almost whispering in her ear,"so, what is your name lady?"

Eri nodded at the walls, she looked him in the eyes again. "My name is Eri, Sir." She added 'Sir' as a speech of respect to the commander. She tightened her gloves and twiddled her thumbs again.

Tedikashi noticed that the military had come in and sighed, they wouldn't like what he was doing.

As the caravan and Misaki up front passed the gate, she noticed the stand and decided to inspect it. When she was at the stand she jumped off her horse, went over to the stand and asked the old man "Excuse me can I see your license?".

"forget about it!" Rijan shouted at Misaki from far "if he gives food to people its ok regardless of who he is!" he looked around, injured people everywhere, children fighting for food, the adults looked at the new aarrivals as a threat
