Finally got this up.
Symbiote Name: Amenthes
Symbiote Age: 3578
Symbiote Biography: Amenthes was spawned by the warrior Queen Anat shortly before her imprisonment by the Supreme System Lord Ra. As one of the disgraced Queen's offspring Amenthes and his siblings were given no territory and no power to speak of and were subjected to the lowliest of roles among the Goa'uld. Amenthes was tasked with making repairs to Ra's grounded ships, Ha'taks, Al'kesh, and Tel'taks. This was the lowest occupation a Goa'uld could undertake as these repairs were usually made by Jaffa. This position however proved fruitful for Amenthes. It taught him the virtues of humbleness and patience that would serve him well in negotiations later in life.
Amenthes without the authority or position to make use of a Sarcophagus was prevented from developing the egomanical tendencies of his brethren. That is not to say that Amenthes was someone you would want to be around. When he was allowed Amenthes took great pleasure in inflicting none lethal but incredibly painful wounds in his victims.
Amenthes became skilled in the repair and design specifications of Goa'uld technology in the first thousand years of his life he became trusted enough to work on Cheops class warship (Pyramid flagships) during battles with Ra's enemies. During one of these battles Amenthes was successful in boosting the shield capabilities of Ra's Ha'taks ensuring victory. He was decorated for this achievement with the rank of Underlord to Ra and being granted a silver Kara'kesh but Amenthes knew as the child of Anat Ra would never give him any real power.
After the successful rebellion of the people's of Earth and burying there Stargate Ra abandoned the planet and buried any record of its existance so as not to lose face with the other system lords. Amenthes started to spread rumours about Ra's defeat amoung his slaves and Jaffa which crippled him slightly and caused several of his worlds to raise up against there "Gods". Afterwards Ra outlawed reading and writing bringing the population of his worlds to a technological standstill.
In one of Ra's battles with his brother Apophis Amenthes sabotaged the shield generators allowing Apophis' Jaffa on board the ship. Though Ra escaped the battle it was a devastating blow for Ra who violently sought out the one responsible finally capturing Amenthes and torturing him for five long years where the constant use of the Sarcophagus turned Amenthes paranoid, egotistical, and into a megalomaniac which he'd avoided up until this point due to his low rank.
Ra having more important matters to attend to was very rarely at the compound where Amenthes was kept on Dendera but the Queen that ruled in his stead Marasis, was always present to remind Amenthes of his failure and betrayal. When word of Earth's victory reached Dendera the population revolted against Marasis and Amenthes in the chaos was able to escape through the Chaapa'ai.
With Marasis' archaic Goa'uld bodice taken as a trophy Amenthes presented it to Apophis and for his work was rewarded with territory and a place in Apophis' fleet along with the silver Ribbon Device that marked his position of power. Amenthes still enjoyed repairing and modify the Ha'tak vessels but at last he was in command. This was all to fall apart several hundred years later. Much after the death of Ra Apophis was disgraced by his creation of a harcesis and taken by Sokar. His armies fell into the hands of other System Lords and through shrewd negotiations Amenthes allied himself with Bastet as a minor Underlord in her ranks.
With the return of Anubis and Bastet's ally with him Amenthes was granted control over twelve planets (including Tolia, the sight of an Ancient Lab), a contingent of Jaffa to serve with his symbol branded to there heads and Ha'tak vessels that had been modified with Asgardian knowledge for him to study. It was at this time that his host began to fail him. He had inhabited this body for the last two hundred years and without the use of a Sarcophagus the host had begun to die. Two hundred years was the longest Amenthes had ever been within a single host prefer to change perhaps every seventy or eighty years depending on his mood. Now he wanted someone younger and strong looking that would fit his new rank.
Symbiote Personality: Amenthes was shrewd, cunning and manipulative. He took great pride in his skills as a scientist and though it has not been his primary role since his days of repairing grounded Tel'taks for Ra he still enjoys puzzling out an engine.
Symbiote Trivia: Technologically advanced civilizations that predate the Goa'uld fascinated Amenthes. These included people such as The Ancients, the Asgard and the Nox after they were discovered by Apophis. This obsession often took the form of months of continuous study of aspects of these raises or artifacts and pieces of technology recovered from them which he would use to build profiles of the raises capabilities and often reverse engineered recovered pieces of technology.
Host Name: Aeryn (Aaron) Thorde
Host Age: 28
Host Appearance: Aeryn is 5'8" with messy brown hair that stretches down to his jaw and a mild tan from spending so much time out of doors. While he is not weak in any definition of the word Aeryn is skinny from lack of food. He doesn't like to sit still and the first thing he looks for anywhere he goes is the nearest exit. He doesn't like sitting still unless he's working on something. He's well built form a lifetime of running but with very little meat on his body from lack of food, he doesn't have many qualms about what he eats.
Host Nationality: Lanus, but he has spent the last seven years as a Tolianin (TalEnian) Of the Planet Tolia (TalEa)
Host Biography: Aeryn worked with his Father on the fields of Lanus in order to feed his great Lord and God Amenthes who had been granted dominance over them by there God Bastet. One day while working along side his mother the Chaapa'ai, portal of there Gods to the heaven and there other domains opened appearing like water suspended in the air. Through it stepped the soldier of there Lord, the Jaffa who were granted the honour of incubating the Children of the Gods. They came looking for a new vessel for Amenthes and Aeryn was one of the lucky ones that Amenthes favoured. Along with many other boys Aeryn was taken back to Amenthes palace on Tolia where he reigned in order to keep a close eye on the Ancient Lab.
Aeryn was the lucky one chosen out of thousands of boys. Amenthes emerged from his host and Aeryn was struck at how grotesque and slimy his "God" looked. The Goa'uld burrowed into Aeryn's neck and affirmed itself on his spinal cord. In that moment a thousands thoughts and feelings and memories filled Aeryn's head but one stuck out more than anything. These creatures were not gods merely power hungry parasites. He could not speak a word though. He was powerless. The Goa'uld spoke distorting his voice into something low and threatening. "It always amazes me at how naive my hosts are when I first take them, though that is soon dispelled. I'd get used to your lot in life Aeryn Thorde. I don't like it when my host tried to reject me and when I don't like something I tend to go out and torture its parents till it listens to me. Am I making myself clear?" So so clear, don't resist the false gods control, don't try to call for help or your family pays the price.
The next several years were like a living hell for Aeryn watching numbly from the shadows as Amenthes killed his slaves and tortured his and his mistresses' enemies. How he drew the blood of his personal slave when he grew board. The only time that Aeryn was not suffering was when Amenthes was working on his own projects, on the Asgard systems of his Ha'tak or else the Lantean Lab that Amenthes had been trusted with investigating. During his reign Anubis betrayed the System Lords with a powerful weapon known as the Eyes of the Goa'uld. Amenthes abstained from the System Lords last attempt to defeat Anubis believing it to be a fools errand. Though the system lords were successful in pushing Anubis back he was far from defeated.
Amenthes had grown comfortable here and had slowly edged Bastet off of the religious cycle of his worlds. He was careful to keep knowledge of the battles among the System Lords, the Tau'ri and Anubis from his people so as to keep his position strong. That is until one day when a strike team from Stargate Command of the Tau'ri came through the gate disarming the Jaffa guards stationed around it. Anubis had fallen to the Tau'ri and an Alteran weapons platform that they reactivated and threatened the System Lords with. Now they were here to liberate this world and destroy the remaining Goa'uld.
His slaves of this world had several years ago become disgruntled with his rule and now with this SG team they staged a revolution on Tolia. Many of his Jaffa turned on Amenthes believing him to be a false god and vowing to see him dead and join the free Jaffa. Luckily for Amenthes the Jaffa were split down the middle as to who wanted to be free and who remained loyal. He ordered them to fight to the death and they did so. Meanwhile him and the only other person Amenthes trusted, his head scientist and partner working on the secrets of the Ancient Laboratory fled to that place hoping that's its design would keep out the hoards.
Once they were within the Lab Amenthes' second hand pushed him into one of the containment chambers. "Brace yourself Aeryn," She said sorrowfully. "This is going to hurt, a lot." She tapped several keys and buttons on the Alteran control consul and hit one final button. "What are you doin... AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." Aeryn could feel Amenthes writing in pain within his spine. It was so painful that he fell to the floor screaming but it was his scream. He could feel the Goa'uld flicking back and forth until it lay still. He knew somehow that it would be absorbed into his blood stream, that he was free.
As soon as Aeryn stopped moving the Goa'uld cracked open containment door and stabbed a syringe into the back of Aeryn's neck. She then moved as far from the containment area as possible and drew her Zat. "Amenthes?" She asked warily her hand twitching towards her Zat'nik'tel. Aeryn's breathing was ragged and shallow but he managed a word. "Gone." A smile spread across the Gao'uld's face. "It worked, My true name is Altenya of Vagonbra. I am from a rebel faction of the Goa'uld called the Tok'ra. My studies suggested that the radiation given off by this device might be able to kill a symbiote if modulated properly but I had no proof until now. I also developed a serum to neutralize the neurotoxin that symbiotes leave in there hosts after death. I had doubts as to its viability. This is great news indeed for the Tok'ra. Now you must he disoriented but we have to run. The team from Stargate Command has already disembarked. They did what they needed to. The Jaffa appear as if they will wipe each other out leaving only the human slaves who do not have an understanding of the difference between you and Amenthes. If we do not want to be tried as false gods then we must get to the Chappia'ai before as is likely it will be buried. This discovery must be brought before the Tok'ra high council."
They did not succeed that day. The Stargate was buried as Altenya feared and her communication stone was destroyed in the chaos. Her last communication to the Tok'ra saying only that she had made an important discovery. Over the next two years Altenya taught Aeryn how to fight. From his time as Amenthes Aeryn knew the workings of the Kara'kesh that he still possessed and how to use a Zat'nik'tel as well as a staff weapon. Altenya taught Aeryn to deepen these skills as well as teaching him hand to hand and knife fighting but most importantly of all he was taught to fight with a staff weapon that had not been powered up.
Since the fall of Amenthes his personal slave whom had secretly been learning all he could about Goa'uld systems took control of the planet forming a government. There first decree was that only the military should have access to the Goa'uld weaponry without express authority from himself, this being said it is relatively easy to get a permit for a Zat though if you kill someone with it there are deep consequences. The second was that the Chappia'ai be buried to prevent the false gods from returning. Most of Amenthes ships had fled piloted by Goa'uld who cared only for there own skin. The few that remained were locked away by the Tolian government to prevent misuse. Two years after Amenthes fell Altenya and Aeryn attempt to break into one of these secure facilities in order to get off planet. Aeryn was desperate to return to his home planet of Lanus and see his mother again and Altenya was desperate to return to the Tok'ra and show them the chemical composition of the serum. The plan went wrong and Altenya paid for it with her life and her discovery died with her. Not even the symbiote survived else Aeryn would have been honoured to blend with it. Aeryn escaped just barely and now lives at the edge of civilization just surviving on what he can steal while the bounty on his head causes him to be hunted.
Host Personality: Aeryn is very task oriented without time for distraction. He prefers to keep to himself as his long imprisonment within his own mind has led to deep mistrust of anyone else. He can be social when needed but he prefers to stick to working with any tech that he can find. He talks to machines a lot better than people though when company is forced on him he turns to sarcasm as a self defense mechanism. The blending with Amenthes granted him a sizable knowledge of different alien systems that the Goa'uld worked with over the years. A respect for patience and a good portion of the time a failure to see when he is making huge mistakes. He also gained an enjoyment for puzzle solving. Though he is not good at expressing it Aeryn cares about the people around him.
Host Trivia: He has a Goa'uld entrance scar on the back of his neck and has procured a crystal that changes his voice to that of a Goa'uld in the hopes of intimidating opponents. While on Tolia Aeryn carried a silver Kara'kesh for defense, a staff weapon, a Zat'nik'tel clipped to his belt and a split blade knife usually used for the Jaffa right of initiation in which the Pouch is created and they are given there first Goa'uld. He has skill fighting with a knife and a staff weapon, both firing and hand to hand. While working in the fields Aeryn gained a minor knowledge in field medicine. Any slave who was injured was killed so Aeryn learned to patch them up enough so that they could keep working.
