Though I was hoping to get another Cody/Kayle post soon to continue from their first encounter, then I guess I still have to have Cody give Ariadne the satisfaction of getting the two questions out of the way as well. This should be a lot of fun!

BTW! Sep, for the ancient facility when Blaze and Cody are scouting it out do you already have a description of it or can we have some fun with this for the description? (If this was on an actual episode that I'm completely forgetting just let me know and I can go watch it since I own every episode.)

Hey Sep since is not actually specified in the show I was wondering roughly how the ancient beaming tech works. The obelisk tech that Morgan la Fey used to beam Merlin around the planets and the Sodan used to get to there village, and this ties into the story cause depending on how it works would effect the design of the beam jammers which would I'd assume have ancient beaming tech as well to protect them from the Ori while they built Atlantis.

Well my idea was that the beam jammers of the ancient outpost are actually just a result of sensor jamming hence to beam we cannot get a lock on the facility. Ancient beaming (unlike Asgard) only work sbetween fixed points, such as the teleport rooms in atlantis and the ring platforms.

Asgard requires a lock on to the target to be beamed and a location. The idea is we can't beam into the facility as the sensor jamming tech prevents us from getting a lock.

So right now the Langford is engaged in some mission type stuff so what should I be doing in the meantime? Should Paige be back at SGC getting ready? Or if we're going with the allergic reaction thing would she be just getting out of the medical ward? Any ideas would be helpful.

If you're new to the Stargate program chances are you would come to the ship later from Stargate Command. You could say you came onto the ship with the dial in that brought Dr. Ylva Falk on board a couple of pages back then just make up something or other you were doing between then and now but that's just my two cents, your free to do what you like.

I think I prefer being called in by Williams from the SGC for whatever reason. Making up a post to say I was there the whole time but didn't contribute feels kind of cheap. Although what would she be called in for? I honestly don't mind waiting until a more appropriate time to be sent to the Langford. Also, by now she's been fully committed to the Stargate program so would she have access to certain informations relevant to her future posting such as the OS "blueprints" for the Langford?
