Anwen winced as the knife made a small cut in her skin. "P-please don't kill me, I-'ll do anything". she turned her head to the side and spotted something metal, something shiny. Handcuffs. Anwen could only hope he didn't notice these. She saw his muscular arm holding her down, seeing the veins bulging. He was a strong man, she wouldn't be able to overpower him. "I-I was going to take it for myself" She said, wincing. "I didn't --- OW!" She winced as the knife started to cut deeper into the nick, he seemed to be holding to down with too much pressure.

Ashes and dust that was what this world had turned into~ But ashes and dust is a perfect fertilizer for what humanity desperately once tried to kill~ Nature!
Mick was standing before the remnants of a flower shop and what surprised of what he saw. Green vines and flowers of all kind were flowing onto the street before, originally Mick wanted to head straight to the church but this curious, beautifull and strange place caught him like some plants are catching flies. He did not only had the urge but the need to investigate this shop.
The front windows were broken and thick greenish bushes flowed onto the streets, weirdly the former door was spared and embraced those willingly to enter, with a dark hole in the midst of the green and red, yellow and pink dotted mixture of plants and flowers.
As Mick got closer he noticed the perfect size of the hole and so realized that it was not natural, the plants there did not had any chance to grow thanks to repeating access through this entrance. Mich entered the green hell and it suddenly went dark around him, only few light was able to enter through the entrance and his eyes have yet to accustom to the darkness, it was like the plants absorbed every ray of light. As Mick was finally and to see something he saw nothing more than wild growing plants and then....on the other side a counter, maybe it was worth cheking.
Mick took another step and suddenly felt something breaking under his foot step, the sound was dry and hollow like that of a brench but...Mick looked down and saw that this was...not a branch.....it was too thick...too white...and too bone like.
He lowered down and got into his knees, those bones were big and Mick did not really bother from what they were, he just saw they were big and clean...which means something has gnawn them off and he doubted it was a rat since he suddenly noticed more and more bones around him...this was not a flower shop anymore, this was a grave..or a layer. Mick quickly headed for the counter and grabbed what he first noticed, a screw-driver and a roll of steel wire. Whatever was dragging the bones here was not here and so Mick made sure to leave the shop quickly but not without anything. He made it outside safely and nothing was waiting there for him either, with a sigh of relief he continued his walk towards the town's church. He was tugging on his scarf and made it cover his face, he had an uneasy feeling the moment he finally saw the church in front of him, he didn't knew why but he seemed to missed something. Inside of the church was light but it was quiet...strange...weird.
What Mick missed to notice were the traces of a charriot wheels leafing from the church to the flower shop....

Flint looked to Lakshmi she looked scared and who wouldn't be. Flint gained his courage making sure he had a round in his chamber. "Stay down" Flint whispered to Lak as he quickly stood up from cover. His rifle pointed to the man. "Drop the rifle!" He yelled his finger on his trigger ready to shoot. The man had a sword by his side and his rifle looked as if it was home made. Flint would be surprised if it didn't explode in the mans hand.

Jack let up on the knife and stood up holding the arrow. "I am not going to kill you." He said stepping back. "If you want to stay that's fine, but this." He held up the arrow. "Will have to stop." Jack put his knife back in its sheath on his belt, and held out his hand. "We both know that wondering around town is suicide." Jack didn't trust the young woman, but his moral code wouldn't allow him to just toss her out for such a small offense. It was a tough world and he knew what it was like to be in her position... and worse.

"or we could both put our rifles before I put a nail in your face." he replied calmly, the rifle raised in the unknown persons direction. He stood there tense, every strand of muscle rigid, his finger already applying slight pressure to the trigger. He waited for a response as the two men faced off.
"I don't want to kill you ous-ider." he he said studying him and the girl behind him.

"together" flint said as he began to slowly lower his rifle. He watched to make sure the other man did the same before continuing.

Howard slung his rifle behind his back and stood to attention.
"who are you and what are you doing in Ventian Territory civilian?"
He eyed the unknown man with suspicion, has hand rested on the hilt of his sword.

Anwen perched herself up on one of the windowsills in the library in the distance she could see a massive building on fire, she shed a small tear, seeing the world crumble is not a pleasant experience, she let her eyes well up more and pulled her legs close to her chest, and started mouthing lyrics from the last song she ever heard. She watched Jack, this strange man that let her live even when she had stolen something from him. "It's sad isn't it, watching society crumbling?" She said tearily.

Jack didn't respond at first he just walked over and looked out the window that he had yet to block. Watching the smoke rise he had no sorrow. "I was taught that what happens, happens, and that crying wont fix it." He reached into his pocket and produced a military ID Card. "Somethings are lost and that is just how it is." He then put the card back and began looking for a case to move in front of the last open window on the first floor.

Flint slung his own rifle on his back . "I didnt see any signs this was anyones land and by the way that the world has turned out I feel that their is no point claimig any" flint took a step forward "where you off too? "Flint asked

"back to Capitiol Point" he said looking the man up and down, he extended his hand, "Howard" he said "Howard Faux, and you are?" waited for man to reply, eyeing the girl behind him with a tentative look.

"Not again Flint, I'm not getting captured again, I've got an axe in my back, should we jump him?" she whispered in his ear, she worried that it may have been loud enough for Howard to hear.

"Flint" He said accepting the handshake then retracting "Don't worry i wont let him hurt you" Flint whispered to Lak. "So anymore of you around here?" Flint asked adjusting his rifle on his shoulder and moving his hand to rest on his satchel comfortably. Flint looked around as he asked looking out for more people.

"my brethren are guarding our cities from government forces" he replied "I was the only available scout to check site epsilon", he looked up to the sky and raised his hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun, "it's getting dark" he mumbled to no one in particular, "I must be on my way.", with that he walked down the road away from the setting sun. His hand on his swords hilt, his ears on flint and his girlfriend.
