Well we're more than likely gonna end up on the same side. I'm just pointing out a couple of things so that you don't get caught out against any NPCs. Hell, if the antagonist is what I think it's gonna be, we need all the oomph we can get.

I would also like to say Sam is more along the rogue archetype rather than the silly bard Archetype. He's not exactly meant to be a bruiser, more like that guy who climbs a tree and hurls pinecones. Or the guy who always seems to find a way to get away.

In terms of group dynamics, he's utility.

I have to say, as it goes on, Sam will be much more influential. If our GM paid close attention to the CS, he'd notice why immediately. I asked him politely not to tell though OnO

If, hypothetically he were to describe himself, would he say that you couldn't touch this?

PRETTY MUCH.

Think of that guy Edward from FFIV. Doesn't do much damage to an enemy, but the stuff he brings to the party is what is the meaning between life an death.

That's what a coward would say SAY MOMENTS BEFORE HIS LOWER JAW WAS SEVERED FROM HIS SINGING MOUTH AND USED TO CLUB A DEER TO DEATH.

Edit: Holy shit I'm wired.

Well the reason I ask is because the goblins have kind of programmed themselves to have as-low innate magic as possible. Gives them some advantages, and then one BIG advantage, but also means that they simply keel over and die if they can't siphon life out of other magical things. So if you throw a goblin into a concrete jail with no one else around, he'll just expire. (This is also why they're only familiars for powerful wizards with connections to other planes)

So, if sand doesn't have the ability to provide this magic to make them live, then I'd have to throw them somewhere with more life, for instance, a jungle.

Where he'll meet only the kindliest and gentlest people and certainly not a band of crazy inbred forest rapists or snake men (I don't know why but I always imagine that jungles are filled with snake men)

*activity maximises*

I still really, really want to give Kiddo's goblin a sock. A speculative sock, Meredith.

EDIT: Be my familiar.

But your character doesn't have magic and hates the gods! Not to mention he's a loner of sorts, right? So his familiar would probably end up starving! D:

Though I'm flattered that everyone wants me to play their familiar :P

Noooooo but I have a magical sword. And yes, while he hates gods, he is in need of a magical guide because reasons.
Also, not necessarily a loner, he just doesn't want anybody being a loudmouth and giving away his location, because if he is found we're all gonna get buttwrenched.

EDIT: I also swear i'll give your goblin an actual, physical sock.

I'm a tad concerned about this "sock" because I feel like I'm missing some sort of euphemism. Some sick, sick euphemism.

Just a Dobby reference. And yes I know Goblins aren't House Elves but I feel the same rules apply. Also if anybody hurts my Goblin pal' during our odd bout of j-j-j-jolly cooperation, there's gonna be heads rolling.

Would "attempting to strangle using a thin wire normally reserved for tripwires" count as hurting and OH MY FUTZING GOD I FORGOT SO MUCH ABOUT HARRY POTTER.

If he survives, it's not hurting. Mainly because that scene would probably be really, really funny.

Y'all might not want to pick on goblins. Let's just say that rogue knights aren't their only friends. ;)
