Welcome to you, stranger, please let me tell you a bit about Morpheus Online.
This roleplay is a slice of life tale with a twist; it will take place either in or around a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, to be drawn out) called Morpheus Online. Accessed through a Gaming Helmet, and the first truly realistic game of it's kind, MO for short is an Asian game that just got in the market and is played while sleeping.
The roleplay will start when our characters will receive their either gifted or pre-ordered game by the mail, and the initial setting, or 'real life', will be a century from now, on the summer of 2114. Being one of the firsts to play this brand new virtual world, they each will be able to see the game expand and change with time, and be in the perfect place to profit from such changes, as long as they put on the effort. Each living somewhere in Asia, they will thus be able to be on at the same time each night, and we will be able to make plenty of relationship between our protagonists.
Now, when I said slice of life at the start of this all, I mean it. Each character will have one sole virtual persona, and each events in the roleplay will be about making mundane activities in MO fun and interesting, from drawn out character creation to hunting monsters. On the top of each IC post, we will all put either Night (and thus in MO) or Day (In 'real life') to keep things easy to keep track of.
Finally, before we make our original players, MO will be set in a world with three influences blended into a sleek whole; the futuristic present of this fictional 2114 Asia, Victorian England and finally a European Medieval era. We will have plenty of time to blend them together, so don't sweat it too much for now.
Now! The rules are:
Try to make engaging, interesting and well thought of posts of at least a few sentences. I don't expect a novel or even novel-like quality, I just expect some effort.
Be nice! That means that the OOC should be free of arguments or hostilities!
