...Welp. As the person who actually apped and used Gilgamesh and is therefore the indirect cause of all of this, I should probably say something.
Wiz, let me make it clear to you, first and foremost, that when I had Gilgamesh first pull out Fragarach on Stein I had hoped I would not have to use it. My hope was that, instead if you trying to outright kill Gilgamesh, you could take that as a sign for Stein to peacefully leave and go after Mia like Gilgamesh suggested he would. However, it seems that signal was either lost or meaningless, as soon after you started posting in the OOC of how you loved the character Iskander and how one of your main goals ever was to kill Gilgamesh, and that now that a RPer has delightfully brought that very character in front of your most powerful character you believed you had me checkmated. Not only that, but you revealed your intention to kill Gilgamesh only when you believed you had me checkmated.
As for me actively abusing your ignorance: ...Sort of. I will admit, I was keeping you in the dark about most of Gilgamesh's abilities because I believed that would bring us onto even ground. How does this bastardly logic work? Because I've watched all of a quarter of Soul Eater and know close to nothing about Black Blood, Souls, kishin, etc, which is why I made that generalization on the Kishin being a god and therefore Enkidu working on Mia in the first place. Not to mention, even from what little I know about Soul Eater I already knew that the Stein you had apped was definitely not Canon Stein, and so I knew absolutely next to nothing. I knew nothing about your character and you knew nothing about my character - and even that was false, because you watched Fate/Zero, and thus you should know what Gilgamesh is capable of and that his Gate of Babylon contained every single treasure in the world, even non-weapons. After all, as a big fan of rider how could you forget the great banquet scene? I believed it was a fair trade.
And then, in your very next post, you decide to have Stein kill Gilgamesh. After that, I believed the only way I believed for Gilgamesh to even SURVIVE was to claim Fragarach killed Stein before Stein could kill Gilgamesh. I brought that up a bit in a rushed post because class was starting in 2 minutes prior to that, and then I left because I had class. I come back and see that BB was handling the situation quite well. I am fully aware that BB has a superior grasp on the Nasuverse - and therefore even Gilgamesh - than I did, so I decided to sit back and let BB handle it, lest I make a misunderstanding on the Nasuverse.
As for my "metagaming" and Gilgamesh's supposed instant knowledge of how Stein's attack worked - Again, it's Gilgamesh. Although he may act like an arrogant prick with his heart of gold hidden DEEP somewhere (did you know that official sources lists his character alignment as Chaotic Good?), he still has brains. And his brains say that Stein is doing something when the space around him feels force, like in God Force Resonance.
Ultimately, what happened? When I first apped Gilgamesh, I just wanted a character that didn't have to flee at the sight of Bob, Mia or Stein. I wanted a character that didn't have to flee at their very whims. I wanted a character that they COULDN'T push around. I wanted a character who couldn't be casually blown up and then resurrected, or get his arm blown off of for looking at someone funny, or be infected with Black blood on a whim. I wanted a character who made it so that, if Mia, Bob or Stein entered the same general vicinity of mine my reaction would not have to be "OH GOD, RUN".
And I dare say that, fortunately or perhaps unfortunately for the better community of this RP, I had succeeded.
