Kika stared at the campfire, letting the light cast a glow in his eyes as he spoke and keeping his voice even.
"There are legends of an odd creature, known as the Noppera-bou."
Here he hesitated, thinking for a moment." Or...ah...I suppose you could call them the 'faceless spirits.'"
"As I mentioned just now, these creatures are said to have no faces of their own, but some are said to be capable of copying another's face to blend into society. Often times, they can be encountered on empty roads, where they are known to reveal their secret to the people they meet travelling alone. Sometimes, though, they can be found around in other quiet places."
