I'm still here, I swear! Anyways, I'm finally done with exams, and have mostly finished the CS. If you see anything questionable, feel free to say something.
Hopefully now I can socialize with the group now and get to know the people who I'd be playing with. :)
Name: Mai KobayashiTitle: The WatcherAge: 1 year and 7 months oldPersonality: Instead of the person that likes to get things done, she'd rather spend her time enjoying the world around her and observing things of interest with keen eyes. About the only time she'd pick up arms is when someone is directly provoking her, or if she's being forced by a spark of interest. However this doesn't mean she doesn't pay attention, but rather she has quite the keen mind when wanting to show it, if only it wasn't such a hassle in the first place. Either way, don't expect this girl to do much but have a good time and messing around. A little loud-mouthed when getting excited, she can say some really frank things that've gotten her into trouble before.
She understands that her life is too short and controlled to even think about wasting it doing stuff she didn't care about. Because of this fact, she wouldn't life a finger if it meant she wouldn't have fun.Though a little careless and very simple minded, she means mostly well when she actually sets to do things. Unlike her sister, she can go weeks without talking to others if it meant too much work on her part.
But when she really does care... actually that's so rare that she doesn't even remember what she'd really do.
The closest thing would be her sister, Ki Kobayashi, where she'd watch over her carefully and follow her around, albiet complaining about how much work she's being forced to do. At the other side, whenever something she'd remotely care about gets affected negatively, she can turn into something very unsettling.
Memories of the painful world would drift through her eyes now and then, and when they return, she would retreat into solidtude to bear with them again. Her mind would be gripped with negativity, one that she can't simply shake off. It is what makes her, what composes her.
Lonliness. Unhappiness. Unwillingness. Subjugation. Pain. Suffering.
There was no choice to what she ever did before, and she only wanted to be released from it all.
Sitting in the dark room now, looking back to what happened, there is no going back to the black prison. Freedom was a feeling that she openly embraced, and behind her was a long row of grim deeds she was forced to commit in order to remain that way. She had a sister, or so she was told. They had only met once, but she could barely remember it through the dark lens that veiled her eyes. The facility was cold, but more so, beyond twisted. It had the ability to sap one's will, and at a point, she was about to give in. She could remember the pain from their experiments, and the lies they told her to keep her silent. It was a nightmare, and her purpose was simple; to survive, to become a creation that they can benefit from.
God was just a fool's idea, and she kept herself from hold onto such weakness as hope. She would smile, playing their games until it was time for her to take her life back. Her sister had caused utter chaos one day, one large enough to tear open the cage that she lived in. At first, she didn't know how to react to such an opportunity, having been under the chains for so long, but she immediately snapped into the programming they had infused in her. Their weapon was now on the loose, and she was terribly effective. For once, she had genuinely smiled, using the powers she was given to force her way out. It was brutal, but so was what they had done. There was no mercy, not until she came across the girl once again, her sister.
She didn't really have any feelings towards the unconcious girl before her, but seeing the battered bruises and long scars, she realized something. She wasn't alone after all. No doubt she was a victim that wished to be free just as much as she did, and for the first time in her life, she saw someone that she can share a purpose with.
With this purpose, one that she created herself, she carried and protected the girl in her escape. They were siblings, and that was reason enough. What else was there? They were the daughters of wicked experimentation, of the strife that parented their existence. If she turned her back away from her sister, what kind of person would that make her?
When she walked away from the smoked ruins, bearing the girl across her back, her eyes glimmered with renewed life.
They will survive... no matter the cost. All of the pain they suffered won't be for nothing.
Overwatch/ Vantage Zone: She is able to access a large area around her through hyper-developed sensors, noticing movement and distortions through any degree. In other words, she can sense any motion or shift within the environment at a 45 yard radius, even if she is not looking directly at them. This ability also allows her to mentally "tag" things to keep track of, or determine if something is an actual threat, discarding other useless detections. In response to threats and tagged targets, she can focus on them, allowing her to react immediately to them.
The second part of this ability is that at a certain point of 15 yards, is where she can further analyze and predict an object that she has tagged. This is her "vantage zone" and she can access any weakness in form or to determine to a pure level what kind of ability is being used against her. Anything within her zone can be affected by a concious, heavy amount of magnetic pressure she exhibits due to her core, in response to her will. This large pressure also allows her to resist outside forces placed upon her, cloak her presence, or can further condense and act like a potent defensive field.
Code Shift: This gives her the ability to blink short distances, to herself or to objects up to the extent of her Vantage Zone. It's appears as though the object or herself had vanished, appearing almost immediately somewhere else; but in actually was shot up into the trillions of code and was transmited extremely rapidly through space to a target location. The taxing on her core and the energy required to Code Shift is amplified if used on external objects, or if used numerous times in very rapid succession.
Scamble Code/Corruption: This ability only works on those things she's tagged, allowing her to convert forms of energy into a special code only she can manipulate. Using this code, she can gradually break down objects through jamming and bridging down to a fundamental level for as long as they stay within her Vantage Zone.
Furthermore, if any object under her Overwatch ability is harmed, they will leak a different kind of special coding that she can utilize for recovery. By tapping and draining on an adequate code, she can effectively recharge her core as long as they are within the Watcher's area of effect.
She cannot perform both Scramble Code or Corruption at once.
Sacred Blacksmith: Able to draw from reality weapons of any kind she wishes, to any number, with any range of quality(s), and lasting as long as she wishes. The amount of straining depends on the weapon, though this skill isn't excactly tiring otherwise difficult unless she pulls forth an extremely powerful weapon or in profuse numbers. These weapons can be manipulated in a number of ways, from being fired off or gathering around in a deadly cloud, but will dematerialize upon leaving the Watcher's zone. Of course they won't match up to most legendary of weapons that can be attained in the world, but they can be strong enough to at least withstand them.
None. They are simply too much effort to carry around, along with the fact that she doesn't really want the hassle of it all.
