Why do people have weird anime signatures

Lots of people have their signature be a gif of an anime guy doing something like turning slightly. I don't get it, I mean if they were like shooting someone that'd be cool but it's just like of anime people looking embarrassed and stuff like that. And it's not like one of those embarrassed looks in cartoons where there eyes disappear it's just like they look down and their face turns slightly red. There's other stuff too but its weird. I don't like anime but do other people find those gifs entertaining

I'm not fully into anime but I do like watching it every now and then and when I DO watch it, I watch a fucking marathon and then never see it again.

People like anime, people don't like anime... people who like anime use good gifs with either badassery or meaning, people who like anime just want a gif that shows they watched it and people who just want something in their sig and don't really care much about what they put into it. Each to their own... now stop your bitchin :p

Also I have a thread where you rate signatures so if you want to belittle people with those types of signatures (while being civil) be my guest .
