[IC] pokemon the journey to legend

Sam some up and let shade out ofbuis poke ball. The axew looked around and the ran downstairs to get some food. Sam followed the small pokemon after getting dressed. He entered the kitchen and saw his mom had put all the stuff he would need for his journey by the front door. His mom was still sleeping but would be up soon to see him off. He sat down and had some toast while his axew had a few poffins.

Kyo dashed down the elegant steps and students practicing there styles over and over again, a pokeball in his hand and a smile on his face, the black clothes he wore whipping around. After a moment he tripped and began tumbling down the stepped landing on his back at the gates. As he fell the pokeball fell to the ground and opened to a hitmonlee. Kyo had seen them before, but only as an enemy, he knew they were strong and having one as an ally made it all the better. As it stretched he got up and ran to it, the pokemon he had already dubbed ip mann after the wing chun master seemed taller that him, it's size scared kyo but he did not show his fear.

"hey I guess were ganna be partners for now on right" he said nervously

The pokemon continued to stretch, ignoring kyo.

sam's mom woke up right as sam was about to leave. she came down stairs and gave him a hug and said " have fun and come back home every once and a while" Sam nodded and then opened the door and left with his axew. they went to the out skirts of town and then looked around. they were about to leave the town he had grown up in.

Kyo threw his fist down, after all the commands he yelled at the newly found pokemon it just sighed and continued it's warm up, as if it were just taunting him, the rattata he had brought to fight jumped at it but was easly evaded by the hitmonlee and landed on kyo who scrambled to get off, throwing it into a tree and bringing it to a daze.

"now's our chance ip mann use low kick" he yelled as the hitmonlee ignored him and jogged in place. this made kyo angry he grew to angry to contain it and threw a punch at the hitmonlee. this did not go well and ip mann responded with a high kick to the chin which knocked kyo to the ground leaving the 2 pokemon standing angrily over him.

Sam smiled and then walked out of the town. He went into the tall grass to see if he could find some wild pokemon for his axew to battle or to catch. After about 15 minutes he ran into a wild pidgy and axew ran out ready to battle.

Kyo was shocked when ip mann actually used low kick in the rattattata knocking it out cold and looking at kyo with eyes that showed it planned this all along. Kyo got up and looked at the hitmonlee with new found respect, he had seen it as a mindless robot that fought for him like a mecha, but now understood that it was just as smart as him, maybe smarter, it filled kyo with guilt of how he had always seen trainers in his mind. Finally he let his hand out to shake ip manns, despite it having no hands.

"ok from here on out we are partners ok? we will work together to make you strong, alright" he said nervously

The hitmonlee simply nodded and said it's own name. It wasn't long after before ip mann was tackled by the rattata, and stumbled back before looking at kyo as if asking for a command. Kyo took a step back and struck a heroic pose.

"ok let's do this, ip mann use double punch to finish it off"

Nessa held her Vulpix tightly against her chest, almost able to feel the mythical flame that was said to live in them. She was sitting down on a small boat that was bringing her to Pallet Town, the place where she wanted to start her journey. She was not sure what brought her to this small town exactly, but she knew she needed to start her journey here.

Once the boat was docked, she shakily walked off and onto dry land. Wisp quickly jumped out of her arms to stand on solid ground once more. It had been a long trip for the both of them and it was nice to know they wouldn't be on a boat again for a while. Nessa pushed back a strand of her long black hair out of her face and fixed her teal bow that kept her bangs out of her face.

Already feeling rested enough from the long boat ride, Nessa decided to press on past Pallet town to get to Viridian City where they would spend the night. Wisp stayed close enough to Nessa, feeling a bit uneasy in the new surroundings and being around lots of new people. "It's alright. Wisp, we'll be alright as long as we're together." Nessa said to reassure her partner. The Vulpix let out a happy sounding yip and nudged her leg gently to show she agreed with that her trainer said.

They both stopped just at the edge of town, where the long grass started and where their journey would really begin. With a deep breath, Nessa took a few steps forward followed closely by her partner, the both of them looking excited and nervous as they began to press on through the first part of their journey.

After a few minutes in to the battle Sam had axew use iron tail. The pidgey faints and Sam smiles as axew runs back to him. He picks the pokemon up and the walks up to the nearea ridge and sits down with his pokemon.

Xalia woke up that morning and her Cyndaquil, Torch, was sleeping by her bedside. She sat there and stared at him for about five minutes when Xalia heard her father yelling from downstairs that her breakfast was ready. Her father's yelling startled Torch from his sleep, and he awoke with a fright, so Xalia had to calm him down before heading downstairs. Because they were late to breakfast, Xalia's toast was rather cold, so Torch heated it for her with a small and slow Ember.

"You're so cool Torch!" Exclaimed Xalia.

After eating her breakfast, Xalia and Torch said goodbye to her father, and they headed out the door. They reached the grass that led out of Pallet Town and stopped. She had never been outside the town before. She very hesitantly crossed into the grass, and started walking forward. After a while, they ran into a wild pidgey, and Torch jumped out in front of Xalia.

"Torch! Use Ember!"

Nessa was able to catch the last moments of battle between a Pidgey and an Axew which made her heart race. Cautiously, the girl walked over closer to the boy and his pokemon, wondering if this was the beginning of his adventure as well. "Hello." She said as friendly and confidently as she could, though her voice did shake a bit. She stood a good distance away from the boy, in case something went wrong between the two. Wisp was hiding between her trainer's legs, not sure what to think of the boy and pokemon her trainer was approaching.

Sam looked up and saw a girl standing there with a vulpix hidden behind her. He smiled and then said " hi my name is Sam and this is shade my axew." He then stands up and says " I just started my pokemon journey today so that battle with pidgey was my first one." He says nervously.

[Orotomo]

Torch attacked the Pidgey with a small burst of flame. The Pidgey was hit with the fire and tried to tackle Torch, but Torch jumped out of the way.
"Torch, blind it!" Torch used Smokescreen on the Pidgey, obscuring its vision. The Pidgey tried to use another tackle, but missed due to the smokescreen. "Torch, hit him again!" Torch used Quick Attack and hit the Pidgey again. The Pidgey was defeated and it knew that, so it retreated into the grass. Xalia was overjoyed by seeing her new Pokemon in action, but she was interrupted from her joy when she heard voices coming from behind her. She froze up and Torch turned around to stare off into the direction of the voices.

Nessa felt a little bit better hearing that this was his first adventure too. "That was a great battle for your first time." She said with a shy smile. "My name is Nessa, and this is Wisp, my Vulpix. We're both from Johto." AS she said this she picked up Wisp who was now looking at the Axew curiously. Nessa was also looking at the dragon type, feeling a rush of joy seeing a type she loved. She loved her fire type Vulpix but her heart really was set on one day owning at least one dragon type.

Sam smiled at her and then said "thank you for the complement. And johto is a long way from here. It nice to meet you." Sam then picks up his axew and the smiles again.

"It's nice to meet you too." Nessa smiled with a small bow. Wisp tilted her head slightly and blinked at the Axew, wondering what he was really like. "I would have started my adventure in Johto but something told me to come to Kanto." She explained a bit nervously, thinking how stupid it must sound. She had nothing here except for her bag of things, and her pokemon so it would not be easy for her if something were to happen here.

"Well I notice that your on your own with your pokemon like me so would you like to join me and shade on outlr journey. We would gladly have you join us if that's what you want." Sam says with a friendly smile.

[Nehelenia]

Nessa was a bit surprised that Sam invited her to join him but she felt like this would be the best option for her and Wisp. "If you don't mind, I would be grateful if I could join you." She smiled. She then set down Wisp who had begin to fidget and held out her hand for Sam to shake. She hoped he would not notice that in fact she was shaking since she was still feeling nervous.

Sam but shade down and shook her hand sealing the deal. He then said " well now that we have joined forces we should think about heading to viridian city so that we can get some food and a place to stay the night if we want to." He then looked at shade who nodded to him.

Nessa nodded in agreement, feeling excited at the idea of having a bed to sleep in that didn't rock with the motion of the waters. "That sounds like a plan to me. I assume it's in that general direction?" She asked as she pointed down what could be a path to some place. Wisp cautiously walked over to Shade, sniffing the air around him to show her curiosity for him.

Shade just stood there waiting for something to happen. Sam looked in the direction that she was pointing and then pulled out his town map. He opened it to make sure that was the right direction before saying " yes it is that way and it shouldn't take us to long to get there" he said.
