Profession: She is a student at the academy, but she works as a manga artist out of her dorm room, but will be moving in with Nori at her appartment. ( specifically a corny romance manga called "from afar"

Bio/Personality: Kame-chan isn't very close to her family and doesn't really socialize often. She was an only child and, seeing as her father was a drug dealer and her mother had no motivation in life besides clubbing, Kameyo was taken in by her uncle. He was a very busy business man and though he was never very good at the emotional part of raising a child, he always made sure she had what she needed. When Kameyo turned 19 she told him she was going to move to try and become more independent and she had already found a job and somewhere to live. Her uncle still checks up on her about once a month via e-mail and they send each other very practical gifts for their birthdays and Christmas. (example: last Christmas He gave her a stun gun, and she gave him a gps.)

She is extremely shy do to lack of contact with other children early on and usually has her nose in a book or drawing at the park. One of the few things that get her out of her shell is food, Kame is a glutton. Although she doesn't like to show her emotions... it tends to happen anyways seeing as she's no good at hiding them. Other than her being shy she also has a naturally soft voice and hates to interrupt people. Her two worst fears are drowning, and june bugs. Kameyo likes to help but always wants to do things on her own and often refuses help.

Bio/Personality
Arty is a real softy at heart, though this should be expected from a man who grew up in a house with five older sisters and three younger ones. He grew up being told how he had to respect a lady and how to appreciate the more feminine things in life, like good home cooked meals. Though things weren't all sweet in Arty's life seeing as his dad was a mean drunk that liked to knock his wife and kids around, often waving his old revolver around to threaten them even further. This went on for years until Arty was about thirteen and he finally stood up to his dad. It was a pretty bad fight, but Arty won and kicked the scum out of the house, telling him that he wasn't aloud anywhere near his family from that point onward. Seeing himself as the man of the house Arty got himself a bunch of odd jobs to help bring some money in. After a while though Arty was able to find himself a job in Shine City that was paying more than double all his odd jobs combine were. So he packed up and moved, he still sends as much money as he can back to his Mum and three little sisters, his older sisters had already moved out a while ago.

Bio/Personality: Shizuka is quiet and demure, but is extremely supportive and committed to friends and especially to family. To people she doesnt know, she can act formal and respectful, overcoming her inherent shyness. She is capable and skilled and takes care of herself, but her modesty is so deeply ingrained that she tends to sell herself short, downplay her contributions, and take herself for granted. However, she is not depressed, she simply thinks this way to motivate herself to always do more. She feels others are far more deserving of attention and may become awkward and uncomfortable if people become attracted to her. Shizuka lived with her parents and sister in another city, but when she got into Shine City Academy's graduate program, she moved here and is now living in the dorms. When she was younger, several boys had approached her with romantic interests and she had turned them down for two main reasons: she doesn't think they would be interested in her if they spent time with her because she considers herself uninteresting and average at best, and she could sort of tell that they were just physically attracted to her, in love with the idealized 'concept' of who they wanted her to be instead if who she really was. So she has never been in a relationship and is not looking for one, but a deep emotional connection based off of mutual understanding and real appreciation may bring her out.

Bio/Personality: Nori grew up the only child of two loving, lower-middle class parents in a rural farming community and even though she was happy, she always longed for the big city life. So when she turned 21, she moved to Shine City to follow her dream of being a professional DJ. Nori quickly learned that none of the radio stations would hire her without experience and she began to lose hope, until she saw a flyer that said Club LUSH was looking for part-time DJs. The young blonde was hired on the spot and while she was excited to be doing what she loved, it wasn't quite enough to pay the bills. So she had to take on another job at the local flower shop to make ends meet. She lives in a small two bedroom apartment above the shop and is currently looking for a roommate.

Nori has an adventurous spirit, thrives on action, and loves anything that gets her adrenaline up. This of course makes her a bit of a risk taker, which often gets her into sticky situations. It also means that she can get bored easily if she feels like she isn't doing something productive. When it comes to the people she cares about, Nori is loyal to a fault. If she sees someone bullying one of her friends she will not hesitate to call them out on it. She is a bright, confident, funny girl who is full of sarcasm and doesn't let anyone push her around.

Bio/Personality: Amaya grew up with two extremely busy parents as an only child. Her mother and father owned a consulting company together, so she did have a lot of money growing up. She originally started taekwondo because she was alone a lot, and her parents worried about her well being. Eventually she grew to love it and started taking many other forms of martial arts. When Amaya went into college, she wanted to go away from her home and be more adventurous, but she still wanted to live in a larger city. Which is why she choose Shine City Academy. She lives in the dorms on campus to get the full college experience. Amaya didn't want to rely on her parent's money so she got a part time job. Amaya decided to work there because she enjoyed the formal setting of the Japanese restaurant and also she thought the uniforms were very pretty on her (not that she'd admit that to anyone). The pay is enough to get her by, with a bit to spare on a good day.

Amaya is a quiet person, especially with strangers. She sometimes gets social anxiety because she's not use to interacting with others. Amaya is very good at handling small children, although she doesn't really like to spend time with them. Once one gets to know Amaya, She can be very kind and gentle. She cares a lot about what little friends she has. She can be silly at times and enjoys laughing with others. However, she does have a limit. If you ever get on her nerves or are rude to her, she is terrifying. Since she is well trained in martial arts, she isn't afraid to hurt others. Especially if you hurt her friends. During the time Amaya is alone or bored, she enjoys psychoanalysing others. She finds the way others think interesting. She's also a great listener, but has trouble comforting. Not that she doesn't try her best in doing so. Amaya also has Pocrescophobia, or the fear of gaining weight. She has never told anyone this. And while she isn't anorexic or bulimic, she is a health nut. So she works out regularly, and does her best to eat healthy foods. She also makes sure to never measure her weight. While it isn't severe, it still affects her from time to time.

Has a piercing on his left ear on which he swaps between tiny spike or silver ring earrings. Dark circles aren't unfamiliar to his otherwise pale features, and his eyes are a clear, light, chocolate-brown colour which contrasts heavily with his (dyed) silver hair. In his youth, he used to have a select number of streaks in the mess of his locks that he dyed different colours once every two months. Though you can see a cigarette sticking out of his mouth when he isn't at school, it's replaced for a lollipop when he's on the job. Though oddly enough, it's difficult to tell from far away what it might really be...

Bio/Personality:
Shou grew up in classy Shine City itself as the younger of two sons, so it's hard to find a place or trick or turn within it that the young gentleman doesn't know. Though, admittedly, he only came to learn of more of the city in his later years, having been homeschooled as a child and so finishing his education a couple of years early (due to missing out so many much-coveted summers). He landed his professor job through a mixture of sheer luck, his personal smarts and three rather interesting published works on the behavioural study of animals in captivity. This has led to him being a bit of an eccentric man, though he enjoys his fair share of parties as well, accompanied by a new experimental mixed-drink each time if not for a classic favourite of his: A glass of burgundy wine, for his more mature palette.

He spends his days teaching at the Shine City academy, hoping to inspire his students (though he has to admit again, most of them don't seem quite as much as interested in his lectures) to greatness someday. His young age is often a cause for playful kidding around by the older members of staff, though also gets him a lot of belittling remarks and unsatisfied glances from time to time. He claims he's just as much a student as anyone else, learning from his seniors whenever he can on their respective areas of expertise, and from his juniors on areas such as 'socialisation in the younger-crowds'.
He owns two dogs, a young Jack Russell Terrier called Jinxie and a larger Border Collie/German Shepherd mix called Romeo. Seeing as he lives by himself in a rather comfortable little house just far enough from the bustling city center to have an open yard, the two dogs get on well and don't get bored or lonely too often (special thanks to the dogs of the lovely old woman who lives next door!)

Shou himself is slightly introverted, preferring to be approached rather than approaching someone, though he has no problem doing the latter. He hardly ever is mentioned to say "he's bored", being a strong believer in finding entertainment in whatever one does. He is compassionate towards animals and, oddly enough, plants as well, having a well-tended garden set up in his backyard. He also possesses intensive knowledge on herbal remedies his mother taught both boys, Shou and Yuusha, when they were young. Being described as 'eccentric' due to his often chuckling at the most inappropriate moments, or his somewhat morbid love for setting things alight, or even his irritability on Thursday evenings when the weekend is so close, yet so far, he garters the positive attentions and affections of many others, particularly the schoolgirls at the academy impressed with just how young he is.
Or maybe they're just taken by his looks.

As for his personal skills, outside of teaching and aromatherapy, Shou can also play the violin himself, whereas his brother picked up the saxophone when they were children. Though, to make up for it, he thoroughly neglected cooking in his youth and survives on the most basic meals, usually burnt or improper in some way, shape or form, but laden with spices each and every time.

Adopted from the local shelter as a tiny pup, Romeo is now nine years old and an aging boy, but holds himself with a pride and loyalty to his master like no other. He makes an excellent companion on long walks, and in addition, an even more wonderful pillow to cuddle with when lonely.

Jinxie

Jinxie is hyperactive and playful despite her six years of age, possesses a love for life itself any everything it brings. She's forever curious and could be called the polar opposite of Romeo, if not for the friendliness they both possess. She used to belong to Alessandra, but Shou has taken responsibility for her ever since Alex passed.

Bio/Personality: Pretty much your self raised rebel his mom died at birth at age 15 his dad grew very sick so he worked (under the counter) almost anywhere he could from small town construction to underground warehouses by age 16 he stopped sleeping all together because his dad was getting worse.He was either working at one of his various jobs or watching over his dad.Shortly after the sickness got the best of his dad and while he was at work his dad shot himself (hence why he hates weapons) and he became very depressed and stayed to himself for three years he quit his jobs,left the house,and lived on the street for those three years he did nothing but write songs and dealt in cronic he spent all day and all night writing songs,smoking,drinking,and watching the night sky at age 19 he had put aside enough money to rent his own studio and record his songs he'd been collecting over the past years he cleaned himself up for the most part (aside from drinking) now he makes good money off of his music but decides to stay living off the land.You can find him most times at shiny park or club lush.He hides his feelings so you will see him happy and energetic around people but if you catch him alone at night at shiny park you'll see the pain he hides inside.

She is very friendly and finds it easy to make friends, and she has good relationships with the friends that she currently has. April is an extrovert and is most at home when she is at parties, or large social events filled with new and old friends alike. April pays lots of attention to how she looks on the outside, and will never go out of the house without makeup and a good outfit. Ryva is calm and relaxed most of the time, but if you hurt her or her dog, she will make you regret it. She is artistic, random, and loves to joke around, sometimes she'll pick a random partner, and show them the basic of Argentine Tango, or waltz, and dance around with them. She might have had a bit of a rough childhood, and though it may show from time to time when she forget's her house key and has to pick the lock, she is generally a good person to be around.

Ryva was only eight when her father left her and her pregnant mother, Zita, for another, younger woman. She cried for weeks, wondering if she did or said something to leave her. Before he left, her father had been really close to Ryva, so it came as a hard blow when he went away, without even a goodbye or a last glance. Zita was only three months pregnant, so she was still able to wait tables at the restaurant where she worked. A few months before Ryva's ninth birthday in October, Zita brought Ryva to work with her. Ryva sat at the counter and practiced on her small guitar, until a man sat besides her on one of the stools. Ryva looked up. He had dark blue eyes, raven black hair that brushed his collar, and a kind smile on his face.

"You practicing your guitar?" the stranger asked with a deep, gentle voice. Ryva nodded, and began talking to him. She liked him. He grew fond of Ryva and her mother, and began dating Zita. When they had been dating for six months, he proposed, and Zita said yes. Ryva was the flower girl at their wedding, and couldn't be happier. her new father was better than the last one, and he never once showed any signs of going away.

Personality: Jun is extremely extroverted to the point where he feels out-of-place whenever he isn’t around large crowds of people. His outgoing nature is helpful when he meets new people, but he is also known among friends for talking too much and being slightly nosy. Despite this, however, he is a person whom many people find hard to dislike because of his friendly character, welcoming smile, and quirky behavior.

Bio: Jun was born into a well-to-do family with more money than they know what to do with. His mother being the owner of a clothing company and his father being the co-founder of a thriving computer software corporation, he could have easily grown up to be a spoiled brat. However, his parents knew he would never succeed in the world if he was simply given everything for free, so when he was young they raised him to work humbly for the things he wanted and even enrolled him in school with the other “normal” kids, telling him not to boast about his family’s wealth to any of them otherwise he would be ostracized.

As he grew older, Jun eventually figured out that his parents just didn’t want him to make friends in school because of his social status, but even though he has moved out of his family’s mansion, he still keeps the knowledge to himself, going about his daily routines like anyone else and even renting out a small apartment when he could easily afford a large house in Shine City.

Bio/Personality: It may come as a shock that the actress you see on television inserts herself into her roles in such a way, she lives them. She can be described as little else but beautiful, inside and out. She is graceful, soft-spoken and always smiling, and her romantic nature at heart is what pushed her to pursue hee acting career in romance films.

She grew up as the fifth child of seven sisters and two very traditional parents, teaching all the girls dance as they grew up. Though they've all moved to different parts of the country now, the sisterly bond is strong as ever and her parents are now old, and well cared for. The sisters all seem well off, but Aoi is the second most settled out of them all, the first being her eldest sister who is married, and besides her own endeavour in the shoe design department, her husband heads a prestigious law firm.
Aoi dreams to one day find a man who loves her despite her career and fame, and someone who sweeps her right off her feet.

Bio: Devin was originally from Egypt, but his family's living conditions weren't good. Devin went to Shine City Academy on a full ride scholarship. Now he sends money home to his parents and 5 younger siblings.

Note: Diogenes means God-born, or, Heaven-born in Egyptian. (Which seems pretty accurate to me ;)) Also when I saw the picture I decided that he was going to be eye candy since there is a lack of eye candy in this RP.

Bio
Rixon was twelve when Ryva and her family moved next door to him and his dad. Their parents were friends, and since neither kid knew anyone else in that nieghborhood, they became fast friends, and were inseprable. Then a few years after Ryva moved next door, tow other boys moved across from them, Jem and Salem. They all practiced one form of instument or another, and they'd have jam sessions. then as teens, they formed their band and moved to Shine City to do freelance work.

Bio
Ryva found him on the side of the road when he was only about a month old. he was shivering in th icy wind, skinny, and dirty. She just had to have him. She insisted that Rixon get out from the passenger side and to go "Get that damn puppy in here right now, or I'll leave you on the side of the road." Rixon had no choice. He brought him back to the van and fed him bits of meat, until Moose fell asleep. the rest is history.

Currently on his seventh marriage, Bickford spends most of his time at the club, where he is surprisingly good at his job. He isn’t well liked by his employees due to his constant crude comments and nagging them to wear more revealing clothing. It is his personal goal to see all Club LUSH’s employees wearing only their skivvies to work.

That being said, once you get past his gruffness he isn't completely awful to be around, as long as you don't mind him not actually answering when you talk to him. Cash’s DJ personality is still pretty laid back, but he makes up for it with his great intuition when it comes to mixing music. He is always shirtless when working.

Bio/Personality: Rosa was raised by a famous rock band musician who had been touring up until the birth of his daughter, from which he spent time fighting against his drug using ex-girlfriend for the little girl. He'd won and she never regretted his victory and never bothered to meet her mother since the woman spent the vast majority of her life whoring and using even after they attempted to help her. At a young age she discovered her love of drama, and loved to act with others and by the time she was fifteen her father had enrolled her in a high class drama school while he toured for the school year. He still managed to make all of her shows, and spent time to be a good father which was more than she ever could have asked for. Now freshly out of school the girl is looking for more and bigger opportunities to act in plays, musicals and movies.

Profession: Lexi is a waitress and occasionally a dancer at Club Lush, however in her off time she takes art commissions to earn some extra money.

Personality: Growing up, Lexi was a lonely child. Her parents were big shot doctors and always wanted her to get a good education and follow in their footsteps, but Lexi didn’t want any of that. She always loved music, the way it just took her away from the struggles of real life and let her relax. Her parents agreed to get her piano lessons and in just over a year, she finished her lessons and was able to play flawlessly. Time went on and her parents began to argue, eventually the only way Lexi could get away from it was to lose herself in her music, where she began to teach herself guitar. Eventually, after months of the arguing and the yelling, her parents got a divorce and Lexi took her guitar and her sketchbook and left to live on her own, wherever that may be.

Fast Forward six years, Lexi is living in a small apartment with room for two more. She goes to classes during the day, taking art and music primarily to pass the time. When night falls however, her personality change is black and white. She lives the life of the party, working as a waitress and dancer at Club Lush, where the music is good and the drinks pour like water. Her shy and quiet self goes out the window and she becomes a completely different person.
