The Chamber of Secrets was a cold, damp, dark, miserable hellhole. But Valerie Black didn't care. She cared about one thing. Power. And living in this shit hole with six psychopaths would get her that power that she craved.
"Black! What are you doing?" But until then she'd have to deal with the man who called himself Anthony Lestrange. Valerie looked up at the young man who claimed he was the son of Voldemort and his most loyal servant, Bellatrix Lestrange. She thought he was a fake. She hadn't even been born when Voldemort had come back. But she had seen the pictures. No one who did things like that could help conceive a child.
"I'm daydreaming about killing you Anthony," she said, smiling at him and flipping her hair behind her head. The boy wouldn't allow anyone else to speak to him like that. After all he was the, "leader" of the Society of Riddle. He had a reputation To uphold. He claimed he was as wicked as both his parents combined and as cunning as his father was. Valerie doubted it.
"This isn't time for jokes Black. The students will arrive today. We need to start preparing. By the end of the year this school is gonna be under our control," Anthony said menacingly.
"Ok. So what are we doing now? Fanning you and feeding you grapes?" Valerie asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. For two years she'd been living in the Chamber, only going outside every few months to get in contact with the Neos. They'd been trying to break the defenses around the school so that the time came, the Neos could come in and raid the castle, catching the witches and wizards inside, off guard. It was a process that still wasn't complete seeing as how if they did too much at one time, Potter would be alerted. So they did it slowly but surely. If all went well, the process would be done by the last week of the school year.
"You know the drill Black," Anthony said, walking off to check on the others.
Anthony was right. Valerie did know the drill. Every year since they'd been here they'd but up defensive wards on this exact day. And every year they remained undiscovered in this despicable place. But this year, Valerie felt like something was going to change. This year it would all come to a head. And they'd have more than Potter to worry about.

John got out the black, Ministry car along with his Grandma Molly. He walked to the back and opened the trunk, pulling his trunks out and placing it on the ground. His grandmother quickly returned with a cart and he loaded his bags on to the cart and hugged his grandmother goodbye.
"Yes, I'll be fine Grandma," John said, smiling.
"Are you sure dear?" Molly questioned, a worried look on her wrinkled face. Molly had always fussed about John. She had had a large hand in raising him and so it was to be expected.
"Yes. I've taken this trip four times. What do you think's gonna happen, a dragon comes down and eats the train?" John asks jokingly, laughing as his grandmother smacks his arm.
"Tell Teddy that I send my love," Molly said as John walked toward the pillar in between Platforms 9 and 10.
John shook his head as he quickly walked through the barrier and came out in Platform 9 3/4. He looked around the Platform which never ceased to amaze him with it's bright colors and sounds of joy. Slung his book bag over his shoulder and picked up his trunk full of clothes and boarded the large train, leaving his empty cart behind. He went straight to the back of the train where he found the biggest compartment and claimed it for him and his friends. He stuffed his trunk up up above and sat down, breathing a sigh of relief.
His mother would want to know that he had boarded, but he assumed his grandma would send an owl. Normally she'd be breathing down his neck but she and his father had decided to meet up with the other teachers that they knew. As if they didn't see Uncle Harry every day this summer and they frequented the Leaky Cauldron just to see Professor Longbottom and his wife. But hey his dad didn't get many days off so he could do what he wanted with them. John sat back and waited for his friends to arrive, ready for the new school year.

(Keep in mind that everyone who's in the same year probably know one another. Also I'm fine if you guys post multiple times but the train won't arrive until everyone has posted, unless someone hasn't posted for like a whole day in which case, we'll move ahead)

Teddy grunted as his mother tightly hugged him, his father as serious as ever. His mom pulled back, her normally pink hair a boring brown color, in order to seem normal to the muggles around them. His own hair almost perfectly matched his mothers hair. He would change it immediately after he arrived on the platform. Brown was so... Boring. His mom said," be good, and try not to hurt anyone at school this year. And be nice with the pranks! I don't want to hear for Harry or Hermione that you impersonated a teacher again!" Teddy scoffed with a laugh," I would never!" His father cracked a smile and said," listen to your mother. And do well in school! Remember, just send me an owl if you want to talk to me about something." Teddy rolled his eyes now," bye, I need to get onto the platform and find John and the other Weasley and Potter siblings . I think I saw them ahead of us." He quickly dashed onto the platform, hearing as quick I love you, be good, and tell them hi. He shook his head, rolling the trolly as his hair turned blue. He dropped off his belongings, Spot crawling up his arm and onto his shoulder. From there he hopped onto the train, walking to the typical compartment, setting a bag with his robes up on the rack. He said," hey John." His ferret chirped, looking quite content on his shoulder.

Samantha looked at her aunt smiling, her aunt was very proud of her niece. This will be her fifth year going to hogwards! And Samantha made pretty good friends. Samantha did a little shopping with her aunt before she left. It was all fun to hang out with family, but now she had to leave to the train before it leaves her.
*Few Hours Later*

It was time for Samantha to finally leave in the express train. She had her wand, her robe, any items that she need for the way back. As they arrived to the train she hugged her aunt and kissed her cheek saying goodbye. "Please...take care of mom..." she told her aunt hoping that her mother would be proud of her. Samantha looked around her brown hair swaying left to right as she walked to find a compartment to sit at. Hopefully she would find one where she finds her friends and all, which she dearly missed. As she was walking she noticed Teddy and John sitting in a compartment. "Mind if I join you guys? Its fine, if not. I can leave if you guys want." She smiled at them raising a leg ontop of the other as she sat. "But Heey John and Ted." She waved at them excited for the year.

Kitten arrived at the station, She looked at her ticket. 9 and 3/4 "where the hell is platform nine and three quarters?" She said standing between platforms 9 and 10. She had all of her new school books along with all her old Transfiguration books. She started to lean against one of the platforms pillars and fell backwards dumping all of her bags and her Black cat "Nyx" onto the floor. "Oww, where am I" her accent is obviously American.
Virgil was one of the first to arrive at the train and put them on the train taking his place among the Hufflepuffs. Most were talking about the parties they were going to enjoy. Everyone knew that the Hufflepuffs work the hardest but they also play the hardest. Because of this He knew alot of upperclassmen simply because he could out party them and had to enforce the rule about falling asleep.

His mum and dad was just about to finish their final words for their sons when Gregory went off ahead without even saying goodbye. He hates it when they start on the pep talk. "S'kay, I'll talk to him later." Nicholas offered dutifully, seeing the pained looks of his parents as their other son walks away. His mother forced a smile, and planted a soft kiss on his right cheek, and said to take care and be good. His father walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Go get that cup, son." Nicholas nodded, and smiled, "I will."

After saying his goodbyes, Nicholas then walked off hurriedly towards the crowded train station to his designated train compartment. As far as he's concerned, he doesnt care about his git of a brother or any of these teary-eyed buggers miling about here today. He's only concern now is winning that Inter-House Quidditch Cup this year. They were so close last year for if it wasnt for that Potter boy, and his Father power tripping. What else could it be? It was clear (in his opinion) that they should have won the cup, though it was a close fight.

Man, there sure is a lot of these first year buggers this year. The train station is literally over run by them, he had trudge over a couple groups of this lil shits so he can get to his compartment. Not far off, he saw Virgil amongst the "badgers". It was like looking at a snake ravenously slithering among a den of unsuspecting rodents. Its weird. Nicholas poked his head towards the door, "Hey, gon be at Hightower's. You coming?"

Juliette's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw the time.
"DAD! MUM!" she cried, showering crumbs across the floor from the piece of toast she'd been chewing, in the back room of the leaky cauldron. Though wizard food was good, she usually preferred a good old piece of non-magical toast in the morning. She scrambled up from her seat, still wearing her pyjamas, and darted through to the empty bar of the Leaky Cauldron where she saw her parents talking animatedly to Mr and Mrs Weasley.
She blushed, not realising they had company. She really should have changed out of her pyjamas.
"Dad! You're supposed to be taking me to King's Cross! Do you KNOW what time it is?" Juliette hissed and her dad's eyes widened in revelation. Her mum merely shook her head.
"Hurry up and get dressed!" he cried "I'll grab your stuff! Sorry, Ron, Hermione, what were you saying?"
Juliette dashed upstairs and threw on some clothes, tugging a brush through her hair. Honestly, her father was as scatter-brained as her - at least he'd given her his remembrall this year. Though how it helped - apart from frustratingly taunting you with the knowledge she had forgotten something - she didn't know.

"Okay! BYE!" Juliette yelled as she took the trolley off her father "See you at school! Don't you need to get going?"
She burst through the brick pillar of platforms 9 and 10 before her father could protest and follow her, and stumbled onto the platform she needed; platform 9 3/4. She grabbed her stuff and hurriedly boarded the train, able to now see that she wasn't as late as she'd originally thought. Breathing a sigh of relief, she walked down the train and peered in each compartment. She finally spotted her fellow Gryffindors in a large compartment at the end of the train and rushed forward.
"HEY guys-"
But, as she entered, she tripped on the edge of the door and tumbled to the ground, her belongings scattering everywhere. She apologised sheepishly, hurrying to collect them all up and cursed her clumsiness.

Juneberry stopped walking as she reached the pillar between the platforms 9 and 10. She turned to face her family who were slowly lagging behind. Her two older twin brothers Lorcan and Lysander had taken off work to see her off on this day, and her father Rolf, who was carrying her cat Sebastian, had decided to join as well. She knelt down a bit to place her bags next to her on either side of her feet, and she waited.

"If you all walk any slower, i'm sure you would simply be standing still." she reminded them as they approached, Her brothers, being the goofballs that they were, decided to test that theory. They both started walking slower than they were before and Lorcan said with a smile. "Look, moving slower, and yet, not standing still." Lysander chimed in as well. "Looks like your wrong little sis. Again." he reminded her as if she was always wrong. She crossed her arms and pouted. "Dont make me tell mom you were picking on me again. I'm sure she wont like it. Remember what happened last time?" she reminded them. It was a few weeks prior that Juneberry had told their mother Luna Lovegood that her brothers were picking on her and she had bought a potion that reduces the need to go to the bathroom. After putting a little more than reccomended in their morning coffee, the two of them didn't use the toilet for nearly a whole week. They were in a great deal of pain then.

Her two brothers looked slightly afraid at that and she smiled. "I see your memories are a bit refreshed now. So i am sure you would not want that to happen....again." She said mocking her brother Lysander. As the two of them held their heads in shame her father placed her cat on the ground and patted the two of them on the back before coming to embrace her in a hug. "Alright June, listen here. I want you to have a great year this time around. Remember what i told you to do if anyone gives you a hard time, alright?" he said with a smile. She nodded and went to hug her brothers who picked her up in a great bear hug. "This is almost like a threesome. Except with hugs." Lysander said seriously. Lorcan laughed at that. "I was just thinking the same thing." he said as they put her down and fist bumped. "You two are simply.....gross." she said wiping herself off a bit before she smiled. "Though i'll miss you a bit i suppose." Her brothers had graduated from Hogwarts five years earlier and she felt so lucky to not have to spend an entire school year with them.

She reached down to get her bags and made a smooching sound with her lips to Sebastian so he could follow her. She didn't bother to bring a cage for him, as she would simply obtain everything she needed from her mother. As if on que with her thoughts, her father spoke up. "Oh and tell your mother to come and visit us the next time you have a break. She spends too much time with those animals..." he said with a smile and a wave. From the corner of his eye he saw Lorcan and Lysander bickering and he went between them to break it up. I wonder who the real animals are here. She thought as her and Sebastian walked through the pillar. She took a few steps and looked around, wondering if she would see someone she recognized with which she could sit. It was then that she heard a giant crash behind her and she turned to see who it was. "Oww, where am I?" the fallen girl had said in a different kind of accent.

Juneberry set her bags down again and went to help the girl that had fallen with all of her books and an adorable black cat. Sebastian, being the good cat samaritan he is, went to go check on the other feline. "Good boy Sebastian." she said as she reached the girl. "Hello. I presume your not from around here, seeing as you dont know where you are. This is the platform 9 3/4 where the students head off to Hogwarts." She sat the girl up and then started to help arrange her books. She looked at some of them and smiled. "I've read a few of these. They are wonderful books." She paused as she noticed the black haired girl staring at her. "Oh, excuse my manners. My name is Juneberry Lovegood. And yours is...?"

It had been a long morning, but it was to be expected by now. The first day of school had always sucked the most. As his brothers had grown and inevitably graduated, they earned the right to not be drug along with the family on the obligatory “First Day of School Hustle”. It was a dance that Lonan knew all too well, and with every step to the mind numbing beat his resentment grew that much more. But being the youngest sibling, the lowest on the food chain, gave someone access to a very special ring of Hell.

As long as he could remember, he had been pulled out of bed at an ungodly hour to trundle along with the whole family to Platform 9 ¾, but was the only poor son of a bitch ripped from his sanctuary this morning. The closest feeling he could relate that violation to would probably be when he was born, and was torn from the womb. He had gone shopping two weeks before school had started, had picked up the things he needed most for the school year. A new beater bat, new robes and new potions equipment. The lose in the Quidditch cup at school the last year had gnawed at him, damn near consumed him. He spent all summer outside, playing Quidditch. He bought books on books on books about the sport, about each different position so he could learn how to counter a few of the favorite tricks and he bought every single book he could on strength and conditioning for sports. Everyday he got faster and stronger, and was stunned to find that his robes barely fit him anymore. He had smashed his other bat into pieces in the locker room, and had used his brother Marc's all summer to practice. It was very good, seeing as how Marc played professionally, and even a professional's extra was better than anything Lonan could have afforded at the time. And it had done very well, and Lonan had packed it anyway, but he wanted something he could break in himself. He held a very special bond with a thing he was about to use to cause harm to others. It was important to him.

His father, impressed by the fact that Lonan actually wasn't just doing drugs and bringing home girls all summer, had financed his trip to Diagon Alley that year. His parents both worked high in the Ministry somewhere, or some bullshit like that, but they made damn good money. Instead of making sibling share rooms, they just kept building onto the house as children were born, which translates to a damn big house when there are seven. So his dad could afford to bribe Lonan a little bit. Lonan knew his dad didn't have the energy to even try pretending that he loved him as much as he did his brothers. It was cool. He solicited some good bribes out of it. Armed with more money than he could ever remember being trusted with, he bought the same bat his brother used and a lightly used Firebolt 6. It wasn't the newest of the line, but it was better than anything almost everyone else in that damn school had. With the last bit of his money he picked up new robes, enjoyed how all the girls in his class stared at him when he was in his undershirt getting measured for the robes, and bought a new potions kit. He could probably find the other stuff he needed for this year. Thomas wasn't that much older than he was, the books couldn't be that different by now. He bought a new potions kit because you should never underestimate how much fate and a little bit of ego stroking can do for you. Professor Slughorn loved Lonan. Fucking loved him. He had loved his father, and he had loved all his brothers too. He had even loved his mother, and puffs his chest about introducing them. Even if Slughorn brags about Potter all the time, Lonan tolerates it. And being on the House Quidditch team had been way too easy. Sometimes it felt unfair. Slughorn was very well respected by the other faculty, and Lonan knew that anytime a situation may not have been looking particularly favorable for Lonan in terms of expulsion, Slughorn always made sure there was enough doubt in Potter's mind to keep him. It worked. Every. Single. Time.

He had found most of the books he needed with Thomas' things, and he could probably just borrow other people's books, or look off them in class. Or just steal them. He made it a goal that as the year went by, he would steal something from at least one person in every single house, more if the chance presented itself. Never anything too big. Mostly random bullshit. He loved to take Rememberalls, because of how clueless those witless dopes were without them. At least it would be school supplies. That's a little easier to justify to yourself.

He arrived at the pillar and stepped through pulling along his trunk packed with all the school supplies he could muster and topped off by a large black cat lying on the top. It was often mistaken for a medium sized dog from a distance. He had found Pluto in the woods near his home, mewing helplessly. He had taken it home and taken care of it and it got huge, and hated everyone but Lonan and a handful of his closest friends from school. He hid most of the time, and only came out when he wanted too. Lonan didn't even know where he went.

He got dropped off at the door by his mother, who offered her ever helpful mantra of “Do your best not to be expelled”, instead of pretending to want to walk him in and see him off. So he sidestepped the emotional family and shaking babies and kissing hands stuff that usually goes on before the train leaves, and walked back to find an empty compartment and wait for the rest of the Slytherin team.

Another girl came over to help her. She was a cute girl. She stood pulled her wand out and proceeded to begin putting her books and everything back how it should be. Completely oblivious to the local wizarding laws. She looked over at Nyx who was looking at Sebastian curious about this foreign cat and decided he was normal.

"I am Kaitlyn Duske though my family simply calls me kitten. Also someone at my old school told me i should introduce myself as a member of the Great and Noble House of Black." Sh3 said holding her hand out ready to grasp her forearm.

John smiled as Teddy came in, cyan hair and all. "Teddy, I see you're doing the blue hair this year. Nice," John said, laughing. "My grandmother sends her love by the way," John added. He and Teddy had grown up together so joking about Teddy's new choice of hair hadn't been uncommon. John looked at the door as Samantha walked in. "No problem sit where you want seeing as how we have the biggest compartment on this train," John said. Suddenly he heard a thud and looked down to see Juliette Longbottom, a good friend of his, hurrying to collect the belongings she had dropped. He bent down and picked up some of her books and placed them in her hands, smiling as he took his seat again. "So how is everyone?"

Teddy smiled and said," My parents say hi. Funny how close all of our families are." He just about sat down when Samantha came in. He said," any seat is fair game. But for mine, seeing as it's mine." He chuckled, Spot chittering in agreement. He looked at Juliette tumble to the floor and letting out a breif chuckle and helped her with her supplies and said," don't worry, my mom is clumsy as well, I'm use to the clumsiness." He smiled then sat down, Spot climbing down his arm to his lap.

Juliette grinned, scrambling off the floor as John and Teddy helped her to gather her stuff - it wasn't the first time and certainly wouldn't be the last - and she hurriedly stuffed it into the baggage rail before it could cause any more accidents of any kind. She collapsed onto one of the seats, relieved.
"At least I didn't miss the train this year," she announced, grimacing in memory of last year, where her father's poor time keeping had some serious consequences. She had to arrive with her father and do the walk of shame through the great hall alone; an embarrassing event that she didn't wish to relive, "But I'm good, thanks John. Oh, and hi, Samantha! And believe me, Teddy, I'm a lot clumsier than Nymphadora, plus I can't do that cool thing with my hair like you two can...I see blue is in, this season..."

Samantha smiled at both Teddy and John as she sat down but suddenly she noticed a girl walking in and it was Juliette! "HEeey Juli-" she noticed Juliette falling down, but she was going to help her but John beat her too it. "Ette..." she finished her sentence with a pause smiling at her and waiving. "Are you okay?"nshe looked at John smiling. "Im fine, just so excited for this year! Theres gonna be so much fun activites to do. Like CHARMS!" She giggeled sighing not trying to embarris herself.

Teddy grinned and said," I wouldn't be too sure about that. She is quite clumsy. And pfft, just hair? Really?" Without even looking at John, he changed his appearance into him, looking like a perfect clone of John. He looked at him and smirked," but people don't tend to like it when I copy their appearance." He even adjusted his voice to match John's as well. He chuckled and turned back to himself, his hair keeping the blue color to it.

John laughs and says, "Speak for yourself. Now it seems like half my family works there. I mean last year Grandpa Arthur and Uncle Fred were pretty fine with letting me off the hook but now my mother's teaching and Merlin's beard she would kill me if she thought I was getting into trouble." John laughed and added "But there's always Quidditch. The one thing my mother doesn't understand anything about."

Skylar had packed all of her newly bought supplies the day before her departure for Hogwarts, room completely cleaned and perfect before she went to sleep. She had also said her goodbyes to her mother that night due to an early departure of her own. Sky's mother worked with teams of other witches and wizards to discover and study the many mystical creatures the muggles were so quick to dismiss. This work of hers had her traveling to many different parts of the world, this one in particular dragging her out to the continent of Australia in hopes of studying an indigenous species of dragon. Skylar was used to this, but it would be the first year her mother wouldn't be there to see her off to the train. It was a weird feeling to wake up in the morning and know that she alone on her first day of school but it wasn't at all a bad feeling, in fact she felt older and much more mature being trusted to handle herself for school. She combed out her hair to perfection and applied a light amount of make-up before slipping into her uniform, the blue tie making her brilliant eyes pop. To hide her uniform from nosey muggles she shrugged into a fashionable trench coat that she would most likely ditch the moment she stepped onto the platform. She grabbed a quick breakfast before marching out to meet the cabbie who would take her and her luggage to the train station. The ride was a short one but it was just long enough for her to wonder about the note her mom had left her on the table when she left late the previous night. it read: My sweet Sky, I am so very proud of you and I know you'll have another great year at Hogwarts. I'm sorry I couldn't see you off this year but I did want to give you a gift to remember me by this school year. It will arrive once you get to Hogwarts. I miss you tons and can't wait to see your shining face at the end of the year. Love, Mom. Just when she had thought she had her mom all figured out she was surprised again by something said or done by the woman she called mother. All thoughts of her mother's note were pushed aside as the car pulled up to the train station. Paying her fares she grabbed her trunk and made her way to her train located on a platform unlike any other, Platform 9 3/4.

The newbies on the train didn't concern Sky in the slightest, not of any of the houses. She slipped by the cars that the Ravenclaws traditionally sat and even considered sitting with them for a change, but instead she made her way to where the Slytherins mostly hang out. Slipping into the same sitting area as Lonan Hightower, a Slytherin of the same year as her, she sighed and slouched by the window. "The first years this year are going to need a lot of help. They all look so innocent." She complained, eyes twitching over to boy with a smile. "So how did you spend your vacation? Study up on your magical creatures so you'll look cool to the first years?" She remembered his trouble with the class the previous years she had spent around the Slytherins and couldn't help but to poke fun. "Still considering that rock band of yours?"

Juliette laughed at Teddy's appearance tricks whilst greeting Samantha warmly, who was raving on about charms. Juliette grimaced in memory of the last time she attempted a charm. It didn't end well for Mr Weasley...or the ferret.
"Nah - herbology's the best. If only my dad didn't teach it....Or pick on me all the time because of it...."
Juliette's snorted at John's mention of quidditch.
"I can tell you now, I am not going within 1/2 a mile of a broom this school year. In my first year, I broke three brooms and last year, I knocked the hufflepuff first year kid out. Remember? That one with blonde hair who everyone thought was sweet? I felt so awful...See, Teddy, my clumsiness doesn't even go easy on small children!"
She shoved her hands in her pockets and felt the smooth edges of the remembrall. She felt a grin rise.
"Hey guys! I forgot to mention! Look what my dad gave me!"
She brought the remembrall out of her pocket, currently swirling an ominous red. She shrugged; it always was the colour with her.

John laughed as he recalled the little first year that Juliette had knocked out. "Merlin that kid was terrified of you for the rest of the year," John said as the train began moving. So this was it. His 5th year at Hogwarts would begin in less than 24 hours. John looked at the Remembrall that Juliette had pulled out if her pocket. "I don't think it's supposed to be that color," he said, smirking.

Samantha smiled at Juliette as she would look down at the ground and then back up. She stood up walking to the rear of the compartment that she was in, and sitting down looking outside the window of the train. This year was gonna be very interesting. Samantha ran a hand through her brown hair raising an eyebrow and turning to see Juliette pulling out a remembrall. "What he said " she giggeled to John's comment about the remembrall. It was nice being back.

Virgil looks like his busy with his thoughts. Nicholas shrugged and decided to let him be, so he went off ahead to where the Slytherins are. Sure enough, Lonan is there, and what appears to be Skylar Brookes of the Ravenclaws. What is she doing here? Nicholas thought. Ahh, whatever. Nicholas sat across Lonan near the window, placing his book bag and Hopper's (his owl) cage beside him. "I heard there's a change to Gryffindor's Keeper." He said as a way of greeting. "Gregory's bitching about it the whole summer, saying he'll personally kill Potter if its some bloody first year that replaced Hoot's position. It's his last year at Hogwarts, and he's meaning to get a good fight before he gets out there. I say bugger Gregory."
