okay sweet. i love this rp, its bringing back so many HP feels lol. i loved all the books and this is like...the last hidden book. only this time i get to be a part of it.

i hope everyone enjoys it as much as me. i find myself waiting eagerly for people to post lol its just great.

I'm glad you love it. Now that the first day of school is approaching I want to ask about the RP and it's movement. Do we want to have like a few days of school and then skip forward to the next event. That way we get some character building but the plot isn't completely halted.

That would give it a better feel, in my opinion. That and it would give me a chance to keep up with my wacky schedule(don't know why it's so crazy now).

Ok I plan on having this school year end with a big battle with some mystery and stuff in between. The major events that I have planned are:

The Halloween Dance
Possibly A Christmas Dance
Somebody dies (Or everyone thinks they died)
And The Big Battle.

I know it's really basic so feel free to add in. It's definitely a bit WIP

i second that. i think its a good idea. there will always be time for character development. also collabing with one another is a good option. ive used a website called titanpad.com for rp's and am actually using it now. for example, a skylar and valarie collab would be faster than posting back and forth and waiting.

just a suggestion. ^^

edit: dont forget the quidditch(sp?) tournament!

Oh yeah. Quidditch Games will probably be major events as well. Any ideas for a way to do those. I'm thinking let the players RP it and then use a website to randomize the outcome.

Okay, so I went to that Titanpad site because I was curious. And it looks really useful and all, but I couldn't help but notice how the endorsement for the page (at least on the version it displayed for me) is "Everyone loves it!" and it is attributed to 'Anonymous, Internet'. While I'm sure someone probably said that exact sequence of words in relation to that site at least once, it sounds hilariously fake and I laughed out loud.

if u are using an ios device it wont work. dunno y, i tried. as far as the credibility all i can say is that ive been using it for 4 months without a problem so i recommend it for anyone wanting to collab.

I think for Quidditch the players could collab on titanpad for one comprehensive post instead of a bunch of little ones, and then smarty could randomize the outcome.

edit: oh and also about titanpad, dont worry about doing it all in one day. it saves automatically and you can x out and re open the window w/o a problem. it keeps the pad for up to 30 days from the last person typing and only people who have the direct link can see the page or post on it. its really cool.

all that being said, if people have an idea about a future post, one can type it up, bookmark the link, and post it here when ready.

i think its a very useful tool.

also switching topics, can everyone have acess to the quidditch games? im sure June would like to cheer for Lonan. it could be cool then for those not on the teams too.

I punted my phone like an American football across the open space in front of my dorm building once just to see if I could, but didn't apologize. In fact, I did the exact opposite and got really mad when it didn't work, like I was surprised or something.
