[OOC] Cosplay Conversion [continued]

For those of you who were a part of the old thread... I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry.

The 1x1 version of this RP was set up for Neo and I. If you were a part of the old CC and you still want in, PM me and I'll figure something out. But bear in mind that I'm aiming for a tight group this time - no posting hiatuses.

If Simon chooses to leave (which I assumed would be the response) then that would be a good time to figure out what we're doing with everyone else... aren't Jonathan and Popoi still outside?

Additionally, this gives us a chance to re-introduce some other roleplayers if you want to. Marik already PMed me asking about this RP and I said it was a 1x1 until further notice but it was possible to work him back in. I know Marik played Gamzee and I'm pretty sure he was in that group... wanna figure something out? (If we can't move this to the group section we'll just deal with it until the capabilities exist.)

Well, obviously the sequence is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. Door B, Door A. Or, failing that, Doors 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 2, 9, 2, ( And then door 0. Somehow)

Jokes put aside; yes, Jonathan and Popoi are still outside. So yeah, with other people joining them to break the deadlock, this would be as good a time as any to decide exactly what to do.

(As for an IC post: First thing tomorrow when I'm off again. Now is sleepytime.)

So, here's an idea. Maybe we can do some minor timescale retconning? Simple version; It took Daniel and Simon roughly the same time to get back from their failed expedition down in the Lost Hallways (Maybe the correct combination is North, West, South, West?) as it took the rest of the crew to have their misadventures. In other words, Daniel and Simon get back just in time to see Jonathan and Lily/Popoi meeting again. From thereon, we can do some party regroupin/splitting.

Lily/Popoi wants to stay with Devon (The Templar lady), pretty much the only person she trusts right now. Maybe you can take over control over her?
Jonathan wants to stay with Lily/Popoi
Marik wants to join again.

All other players can just go somewhere else.

Short post, I know, sorry about that. I was in a bit of a rush, and didn't want to keep you waiting even longer. So yeah.

To fix this, I was actually thinking about bringing in a new character. Not an NPC, but another cosplayer. You know, to balance out our numbers a bit better.

That would work. And since you never stated the identity of the third 'Unknown Cosplayer', we can just retcon that one into your new character without too much hassle. Similarly, we could just pretend that said character appeared offscreen while Simon and Daniel were in the Lost Hallways©, eliminating the need for an introductory scene. Yay for Shrödinger's Cat/Gun :D.

I was just referring to a character idea I had left-over from when I first started the RP, and I originally had three different character ideas that I planned on using, but I eventually only went with Daniel.

I still think they should have some sort of introduction though. I was actually planning on introducing them in the Lost Hallways© since, you know, anyone could've gone in there without anyone else noticing. :P

Besides, given who they're turning into... they'd be flipping out at the sight of the writing on the wall. o.o

One of these two was already confirmed to be Lily, but the third one -- which was originally going to be Marik's character -- was never described at all, thus freeing him/her open to retconning.

Edit: Though that does, unfortunately, raise the question of how anyone could possibly fall asleep crouched down in one of those things. Hardly looks comfortable, you know?

Name: Kate Druns

Age: 17

Cosplay: Death the Kid, Soul Eater

Personality/History*: Kate was always a moderately organized person, which is part of what led her to choose Death the Kid as her cosplay for Brookkon. She likes being on top of things, planning her day ahead of time, but can fall prey to stress fairly easily when unexpected obstacles appear and things don’t go according to plan.

Currently a senior in high school, Kate rarely struggles with her schoolwork, completing assignments generally ahead of time, making her almost consistently a straight-A student. Despite this, however, she really doesn’t live up to the bookworm stereotypes one would expect her to follow. She only took a few advanced classes in school, taking it particularly easy senior year, wanting to avoid the stress of a particularly challenging workload – as she tends to grow frustrated if she can’t spend time working when she’d planned to work, despite the assignment in question not being due for a good number of days.

Doing much of her schoolwork during school hours, she spends her free time indulging in anime, JRPG’s, and a handful of Western fandoms. She schedules work time and leisure time quite clearly in her mind, and hates having to reorganize her plans.

*She’ll be pretty off-kilter as of her introduction to the RP, however, as her transformation has already taken a toll on her.

Other: Her cosplay includes Death the Kid’s two shotguns, ‘Liz’ and ‘Patty’ in their weapon forms.
