Sometime within the next five or six hours. I know New Zealand is sixteen hours ahead of my time, is Australia in the same time zone?

I'm trying to work on micros too because I think we've got a really great cast.

Okay great. It's currently 19:23 in Brisbane, I'm not sure what the time zone difference is between Australia and NZ is.

I know I'm late to this, but I gotta' say, as far as favourite GL's go, I'd pick Sodam Yat/ION. Hands down.

Also, I want in on this. Will be making a CS if that's okay.

I know it's technically on a different Earth, it just bugs me how some characters are so drastically changed for tv and movies. Kent Nelson was always the Fate I'll remember and it was lame he was off'ed in Young Justice to make the helm more like a curse....~KL~

I never cared for the Magic based heroes, but Magic based villians who beat up Superman are awesome.

Same reason people don't like Red Lanterns on the Justice League. Or people don't like people with Intermittent Explosive Disorder combined with an Anger Management problem.

Solar Energy Absorption/Manipulation: Apollo can absorb and manipulate mystical solar energy for multiple purposes. He uses this power to create his arrows, and heal wounds, as well as create intense heat and light for various purposes.

Demigod Physiology: As an Olympian/human hybrid, Alex's body is far superior to that of an ordinary human. He can lift approximately 2 tons at maximum, run far faster than any human athlete (Though not a speedster) and has superhuman stamina. His body can endure massive punishment. Small caliber firearms only leave bleeding scratches on his skin, and his bones and epidermis are superhumanly dense.

Olympian Steel armaments: Though not technically a power in and of itself, Alex's armour and bow were forged by the smith-god Hephaestus, and given to him as a gift from his father. They are virtually indestructible, and possess special qualities which augment his own powers. His bow works as a channel for his natural ability to manipulate solar energy, allowing him to create special 'hard-light' arrows with varying degrees of lethality. This allows him to subdue weaker enemies without lasting harm, or blast more monstrous enemies into oblivion. His armour augments his already impressive endurance, allowing him to take blows as if he were a daxamite or kryptonian.

Superhuman accuracy: As the son of the god of Archery, Alex's accuracy, precision and skill with a bow go above and beyond that of most humans.

Weaknesses
Sunlight reliance: Alex's powers rely on his ability to 'charge' himself from solar energy, much like a Kryptonian or Tamaranian, and he will grow weaker if he is kept from seeing the sun for too long.

Naivete: Alex has led a sheltered life so far, having grown up on Themyscira as one of the very few male guests, and is naive to the ways of the modern world. Coupled with his curiosity and good-natured personality, this can lead to him being taken advantage of.

I noted his character. Apollo can only use his power to create his arrows, and maybe mystically heal somebody. Possibly create flashes of light. He can't fly, and his powers don't manifest as fire. Shouldn't be an issue, methinks.

Accepted. The OOC and IC are taking a little longer cause my son has an interview for his new school in about an hour and I'm trying to help the wife get things ready. I'll be heading out myself to pay a bill but I shouldn't be gone long. I'm still off today and tomorrow I don't go into work until like 2 or 3....

you don't like Zatanna or John Constantine? I really enjoy the Justice League Dark comic series with all of the supernatural heroes. me personally, I love magic based heroes, it makes the genre more open to people who are more into fantasy than Sci-fi.

I really hope Guillermo del Toro makes his Justice League Dark movie.

Assuming you'll be on in the next 2 and a half hours, do you want to discuss our characters' difference in power in the PM board? I read your CS, and don't think it'll be a problem either, but I think it would be good if we know exactly what each other's characters limitations are.

I wanted the relationship between Zatanna and Fate to be a little rocky. Zatanna doesn't necessarily want it for herself, but she thinks someone other than some young kid deserves it more. In my incarnation, the helm isn't known to possess people. Think of it like how some Green Lanterns thought that Hal, Guy, etc, didn't deserve a ring. Also, are you saying that you want my character to be younger..?

I like Zatanna's outfit sometimes. As a person I only know her from the cartoons and she seemed alright. Magic imo is lame, and most of the time in fiction like comic books is way to overpowered. Heroes are not supposed to be overpowered, they must overcome not just breeze past it like it was some school boy. Why should I root for someone who can blow a thousand men away with a few words?

Which is also why I find Superman to be extremely disgusting.

I like rocky (or completely dysfunctional or so bad it does more harm than good) mentorships, depending on how it is portrayed. (Most recent ones I liked are from the Arrow tv series, how Arrow tried to mentor the Huntress or the relationship between Slade and Oliver on the island before Shado came along)

It would be awesome to see Nabu take over (temporarily?) and how your character deals with it after regaining control or what he does while possessed to break free even if his attempts are all in vain.

Guy I can agree with because of his anger management and rage addiction problems that he still hasn't overcome. I wouldn't want him watching my back. In his core he is nothing more than a Red Lantern. If he is around you best run for your life.

Hal at first is way to immature to be a hero of any sort much less one that is supposed to function as some kind of intergalactic cop. I'd rather risk dying waiting for a different hero than let early Hal showboat.

Know next to nothing about Kyle except his girlfriends have a tendency to end up dead and he is a White Lantern now. Also isn't he some kind of artist?

John Stewart is military, I would trust him with my life against a supervillian even if all he had was his fists.

Don't know why you would think that. Your character could be a 1000 years old, it makes no difference to me. I was commenting on the fact that the list of characters and their ages Kid posted showed my character is the oldest person on the team the next oldest person is 20. I thought is was neat so I commented.
