The sun crept up the sky to bring light to the land, marking the start of another day. Lanterns and fires were put out as those who were at slumber were now awake and preparing for another day. Some of those individuals wake up to a different kind of day, pulling on weapons and other accessories in preparation for the journey ahead. Today was the day the circle unites and come together as the guardians against the darkness. To those who were in the land of the humans and are associates to this alliance, word was sent out to meet at the castle where they would set forth when they felt they were all ready for the darkness that hunts for their body and souls.
Within the walls of this castle two unique individuals walked down the halls, having a form like nothing else in this land that was considered sane. One was a Cianid wearing all blue and the other was a very small cloaked figure, the only thing exposed was a medallion with a paw print engraved on it. "So you made your decision to dwindle inside the affairs of the angels, Ansen?" The smaller cloaked one asked, looking up at the taller fellow when they both stopped in the middle of the halls.

"Seeing as some of the people that have our interests are involved I am afraid there is really no other choice." The beastman replied, turning to face the short one with his arms crossed. "I doubt we will all be ready go until two.. Three days tops from now s-" He had cut himself off with a rather faint growl when a dull pain rose up unexpectedly from his chest. It took a good minute or so as Ansen waited for the pain to die down then continued when he could. "so I think this visit to some trial will not intervene with our jorneys."

"But with your condition time isn't on our side. The darkness could take you over any day now." Seconds later the unidentified one finally pulled off his hood to reveal himself as a kitsune. "If you don't believe me then look at the human king."

"I already saw him... And don't worry, I will die by this disease rather than concede to it." The Cianid's tone was hushed after he said what was said, the guardian leaning in a bit to whisper to the kitsune. "Nobody must know about the curse of darkness I carry."

"I fear that the worst will come from this gamble of yours."

"Well I am not settling with just training young men how to wield a sword. I'll see you back here after the trial." That was the last if the conversation before the Cianid guardian turned away and left the other circle member for the upcoming trial. A demon child did have a ring of interest after all...

Will slowly rode through the forest on his horse, Tug. The Ranger had his cloak on, cowl thrown over his head and very well keeping his face hidden. The young man sighed and patted his horse on the neck affectionately. "we should reach the castle soon boy then I think you need a few apples for making this journey with me." The horse tossed his head in agreement with his master and seemed to increase his pace slightly, making Will laugh at his now eager horse. After riding for a while more, the castle soon came into view and Will smiled as he clapped through the gates and into the courtyard. He swung down from the saddle and handed Tug's reins to a stable-hand, instructing the boy to make sure his horse was rubbed down and given some apples and oats. With that the young Ranger headed into the castle, throwing his hood back to reveal brown hair, blue eyes and slightly pointed ears. He gazed around, wondering if anyone else had arrived yet.

"Welcome, we have been awaiting your arrival, Captain. As you know, our allies have found a demon on the outskirts of Amroth. This is a military issue now, and as Captain of the Praetorians, you will preside as judge for... it's trial. I hope you will come to the most logical conclusion, the conclusion we have made for all demons caught by our forces. May the Absolute Being grant his omnipotence upon you to carry out his justice."

Anders knew exactly what the Templar in front of him wanted, despite his talk of justice. The conclusion the humans had made for years, was the immediate execution of any and all demons, there would be no exceptions.

And under any circumstances, he'd agree. In fact, he'd skip the trial and simply hand the demon to the angels, or worse yet, to the Templar. Sometimes even they were more religiously militant than the angels themselves. But these were trying times. Quite simply, word broke out that there was a demon found, and the city had been hard-pressed to suppress the civil unrest that occurred afterwards. Many wanted him dead, but many also wanted to extract information out of the bloody demon, especially the other races that had become their temporary allies. Anders was sure that if it had been kept a secret, the demon would have simply been beheaded and swept under the carpet. Especially because a Templar regiment had found him, along with a few angels that had been helping them. Too bad a few elves had decided to be nosy.

So he was the unlucky bastard that had to decide whether the demon bastard died or not. And he had to do it fast, as he had a more important meeting to attend to, as he was part of the circle.

Anders followed the Templar-Commander towards the courthouse, and he could already see some people head towards the establishment of law, wanting to see the outcome of the trial no less.

Including many other races. Many had been enemies of the humans before, and Anders still did not trust them. Especially the elves, who were backstabbing cowards. In fact, there was one he could see in front of the stables, probably a fresh arrival.

Anders didn't know if the elf saw it, but he gave a look of disdain. Any other day, Anders would be slicing elves like him in half.

Sadly, this was not any other day. Anders slowly adverted his gaze and entered the courtroom, preparing for the task at hand.

Jason was shoved into the room roughly by two human guards. Thier swords at the small of his back. He was shoved up to a stand in the middle of the room, the benches for those who were watching, with the judge's desk directly in front of him. He stood there with his hands cuffed together as he waited for the judge person to come in and begin the trial. The boy thought back over the events that had led him to this, the escape from his father's dungeons, the capture by the angels and the humans. Now being forced to stand a trial where they will decide his fate, the boy knew that he would be leaving this room free, wheter by thier choice or by him forcing his way out, he would be free

Two figures, a smaller one and a taller, pointy eared one, silently and swiftly moved through the forest running against the wind. They didn't wanted to be heard or seen. They got up right before the first bird had sung his song. Both carrying a bow and dagger with them, traveling light. Suddenly they heard something rustling in the bushes, making both of them stop in their tracks. They looked around wanting to know what caused the rustle. There, about 30 steps away from them stood a deer. She was peacefully drinking from a small pond. Both of them crouched down. The taller more musceled one slowly took an arrow from his back and drawed his bow. He aimed at the animal, released the string and hit his prey right behind its shoulder hitting the lunges. The deer ran a few yards before tripping and falling to the ground. The smaller and faster figure of the two ran towards their prey and held it against the ground taking her dagger. She spoke some words in the elven tongue and quickly made an end to its suffering.

"Nice one Ary." Her partner said as he walked towards her. "Nice shooting." Arya said back and smiled taking some rope from her bag and binding the paws of the deer together. The elf looked at the sun. "We should be heading back now." She looked up at the sun. "Yeah we should, we need to get prepared for the union of the circle." She sighed her thoughts trailing of to her sick father. He might have abandoned her when she was still a baby. But he was still her father, the only one she got. "Lyari." The elf looked at her and nodded. "Yeah, lets go." He slung the deer over his shoulders and they made their way back to the castle. Barely saying a word to eachother.

They arrived at the castle. Seeing some new people standing there. "Hey Lyari." "hmm?" The elf looked at her. "They must be from the circle, don't ya think?" He nodded. "Yeah I guess so princess." Arya rolled her eyes. "Lyari, we're still alone you know. You can call me by my name." Lyari smiled. "You never know who might be listening right?" The princess sighed. "Anyway would you go tell the queen they're here? I'll go take the deer to the kitchen." He looked at her and then gave her the deer. "Okay then see you at the court then princess." He winked at the last word, making Arya sigh again.

Arya made her way to the kitchen and gave the kitchenstaff the deer. It would be prepared for tonights dinner for the guests. Arya took a basket and filled it with bread, some dried meat, rice and a bottle of water. She hid it under her cloak as she made her way to the court. She entered the court looking suspisios with her hood still on.
"Who goes there!" One of the guards said loudly drawing his weapon. Arya took her hood off revealing her face. "P-princess! Pardon me! I do apologize." He quickly bowed. "Stand up dear sir." Arya said. "Now let me pass" She looked at the guards who quickly nodded and got out of her way. "Of course princess. Go on." Arya walked further and saw the half demon standing in the middle of the room. She walked over to him. The judge walked in and saw the princess walking up to the half-demon. "Princess the trial is just about to start stop this. What are you doing? Princes I suggest you don't get to close to that demon." Arya turned her to the judge. "He may be a demon but we should treat him like any other prisoner. This man didn't have anything to eat since he got here! He must be hungy. Isn't he suffering enough? Its only fair that he got something to eat while he's here." She took the basket from under her cloak and turned herself to the demon. "I saw how the guards treated you and I heard they didn't give you anything to eat yet so. I brought some for you."

Sakura and Caroline entered the courtroom shortly after the captured demon was shoved in. It only took a quick glance at the boy to know what he was thinking. Sakura turned and looked up at Caroline. "Stand by the door, need someone I can count on" Caroline smiled and nodded "Yes ma'am." and stood near the door, towering over one of the human guards there.

Caroline was an almost unrealistically tall woman for the race she mimicked, towering at 6 feet, and a body that could deal out the amount of punches received. She was a brute of a woman. At least, that's what most would think, Sakura knew that was just Caroline's interactive form, she held the real Caroline, the sharpness of her blade hidden in its sheath. Sakura wouldn't let the guards take her, due to her distrust of anyone who held Caroline.

Sakura took an open seat, and settled in to watch the proceeding. No doubt the races here will be biased in this trial, they aren't going to like what will happen, not even the angels would arrive in time to stop this boy. She looked calmly at the boy in question, never taking her eye off him, ready to react to any move he made. Her gaze always carried a chilling feeling.

Sakura noticed the princess walk up to the boy. Causing her to smile Well, looks like I'm not the only one here who believes in fairness when trying a prisoner, lo- A voice boomed into her head Hay, I'm not biased either, Caroline was talking to her mentally. Nonsense, you were talking about how much you hate orcs the other day. Sakura looked at Caroline briefly, as pout visible on her face. Don't be so upset, I'm still going to buy you that fruit you like once this is over, that made a smile instantly appear on Caroline's face, and Sakura's gaze returned to the boy.

Entering the Courthouse, the Templar-Commander next to Anders unsheathed his axe, outraged that someone was attempting to help the presumed demon.

"This... IS an outrage! I thought I specifically told you damn guards not to let him gain substance! And, you, Witch! This demon should be allowed to suffer... he was already suffering all day and night in the flames of hell, Hunger.. is the least of his worries!" The Templar-Commander was about to swing his axe and decapitate, in his words, a fool, but Anders stopped him at the last second.

"It wouldn't be wise for you to kill the daughter of the king, old friend. Even your god would not save you from the wrath of the people. I have already tested their faith by letting you stay here. Do not betray my trust." The Templar-Commander opened his mouth in protest, but decided against doing so. He put away his mighty axe and calmed himself again. "I will go outside. My men will ensure that nothing shady will occur. Anyone will think twice when they see an entire Templar regiment outside the courthouse."

The civilian judge looked up in sheer intimidation, as Anders stood at 6'4, and he towered above most living beings. His armor and the massive sword on his back did not offer much comfort either. "Can I help you Praetorian?"

Anders crossed his arms and explained the situation. "Law dictates that a Praetorian may act as a judge in matters pertaining to the military. My commanders have deemed this trial a military issue. Stand aside. I will preside as judge today."

The civilian judge hesitantly walked away, cursing something about unfair practices. Anders decided he would forget those words just for today. He turned to offer the daughter of the king some advice.

"You may be royalty princess, but the Templar-Commander has considerable power. Opposing him would be brave.. but very foolish. I would find it... wise.. if you simply stay out of these matters, or simply observe. As you are only second to the king and queen, I cannot order you to do so. But I strongly advise it."

Anders walked up to the judge's table, and his voice resounded throughout the courthouse. "the trial will commence immediately in five minutes. For now, we shall wait."

"Thank you princess, I would suggest standing off to the side, I'd rather not have anybody killed and make me somehow blamed for this." Jason says softly to the girl and gives her a small smile. "I appreciate the gesuture." He decided to add, and it was true. The demon boy did appreciate the fact that she was bringing him food. Then he locked eyes with the Templar-Commander. His shackles shattered instantly, but all the pieces remotely near hitting anybody stopped in mid air, and fell harmlessly to the floor. "I bring no harm, unless you attack me first. Those shackles were hurting my wrists. Now, on to more pressing matters like not killing me." The boy said, waiting for the response of somebody, and those who looked closely would see slight movements in the air as he had created a telekintic wall around himself, not strong enough to hold back arrows (cause the boy wasn't that good at this, more skilled at offense) but enough to stop somebody trying to put shackles back on him. The boy was going to have his say today, and he was going to go free

Arya clenched her fist and looked down holding her anger. She looked up again at the guy a little concerned. "I can take care of myself.. but okay then if you insist." Arya set the basket beside him and walked over to sit in the front. The half-demon broke free and people started panicking. Arya stood up and looked at the crowed. "Everyone please its okay. If he would have hurt us he would already have done that. Please.. let him speak." Arya looked at the guy and nodded at him.

Lyari had told the Queen that the guests were here and the court was about to start. He quickly made his way to the courtyard. The elf from before was standing at the stables. Lyari walked towards him and waved at the same time. "Hey!" He was now in front of the guy. "Are you a circle member? Because if you are, the court is starting. huh?" Lyari looked up at the court house, it seemed like there was some commotion there, and Arya was there. "uh, I'm sorry I have to go now you'll find your way right?" He ran of in the direction of the court.

The Templar-Commander merely smirked and went outside, staring down Caroline, daring her to make a illegal move.

Anders figured it was time, so he slammed his armored fist onto the table, and everyone became quiet in the courthouse. "We are starting Verdunt Vs. The State."

Anders spotted an Erolyte. They didn't come to these judicial hearings unless they were jurors. "You, Erolyte. Please go to the Juror's stand and prepare for the trial at hand. We are starting now."

"The State may begin their opening statement." A nobleman, dressed in elegant clothing, stood up and greeted everyone. "I am Glacius The Third. I will prove within a doubt that this.... demon over there deserves capital punishment, nothing more, nothing less. My fellow humans. Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Beastmen. I know we have had our differences before. Peace between our races are nigh impossible. We have had border disputes since the dawn of time. There have been only two times we have allied together. One of those times is right now. The other... was to defeat BAAL! A demon, the only reason why we ban together. We know that true evil has but one servant!"

Glacius pointed towards Jason. "And he is the same as Baal. I do not need to remind all of us of the dark ages, when the sun was blotted out by hordes of demons. It was only due to an organized alliance were we able to slay Baal and force his armies to retreat back into the nether realm. And we all remember what happened when we tried to take prisoners.... the graves of many a soldier can testify what had happened."

"Do we need another demon invasion, in wake of the darkness? For all we know, the darkness may have been created by the demons! No, we should make sure that demon is erased from existence. I firmly believe that the court will make the right decision." Glacius then sat down, confident in his position.

Anders turned to Jason, wary that the demon would try something. "Do you have anything to say in defense for yourself, Mr.Verdunt?"

"Yes, first off, My grandfather was not slayed by your men, rather he was killed by my bloodthirsty power whore of a father. Let's make that clear. Second, in his statement, this man reminded you all of the blood baths that taking prisoners of my kind created. Ask yourself this; Do you want one in this very courtroom? Because mark my words. Wrong decision and you will all die. It may not be by me, though I would take a large portion of you all, but my father. For the darkness is not a tool used by my kind, but it is a master that controls my kin. If you kill me then your king will die. I know this, because my father would test his curses out on me then cure me so I wouldn't die. I escaped my homeland coming to find you. My mother was a princess here too. I'm sure you all know about how the demon lucifer stole away a human princess, well here stands the result. That thing raped my mother, and killed her in front of me as a punishment for me not listening to him. He wants me dead for a prophecy stating that I WILL help stop the darkness. I don't pretend to be the same as any of you but I will help you stand against this darkness. I am a different being than my grandfather. I care for the good and wish to extinguish the dark. I loved a human, my mother, more than any of you probably care about your own. Like any of you would, my blood runs hot in revenge for her. Why kill me when I haven't done anything wrong? Why force me to be violent when I am offering to help you freely? Why kill me when I lost my HUMAN mother? Why kill me? I ask you this so you will all find the decision you know is right. Also, I would like to point out that your west wall and east wall will need some serious defense upgrades, my father is preparing a full scale attack alomg with the other Dark Ones to bring you all death. I would advise holy weaponry that the angels own but will not share, for that is our weakness. I know you won't kill me, because you need me. And you all know it too." He says, standing tall, but the keen'observer could see the tears in the corners of his eyes. As he was not lying about the vengence for his mother. "Also, Glacius, I would not talk about how evil I am when you don't know me. Everybody in the realm of the demons knows of your relative who betrayed the humans and caused the loss of a multitude of battles by teaching us the battle strategy of you humans. At least I know my loyalties." He adds and stares daggers at Glacius.

A small figure made their way into the very busy castle, stopping in front of the stables, their cowl had already been down, revealing the head of thick messy hair. The young girl gazed around the area, looking for seemingly nothing. She had little emotion on her face but her eyes showed some level of...fear, or perhaps, nervousness. She had dirt on her face as well as her cloak, and she looked like she could use a good warm meal. A sigh escaped her and began rummaging through her bag, taking out a map, and old one at that. It had the castle, her current location, circled many times over in charcoal. She folded it back neatly, it's creases showing signs that it was opened often. Another sigh. "What do I do now..." the young girl asked to herself, she looked very lost and a little lonely, an air of anxiety seemed to follow her around, as she trudged around the yard trying not to seem as unsure and lost as she felt.

A hooded man sat in the courtroom, watching the odd little gathering that was called a "trial", he had his arms crossed and he seemed quite lax, his stoicism was thus far the only thing noticeably odd about him. He didn't seem as riled or excited about the current affairs, he was just watching, looking for something, or someone. He had ridden in yesterday, and was waiting for others to arrive, the trial seemed like it could be interesting and he decided to watch to pass some time. He sighed inwardly and scanned the room once more. Some interesting people were here. Perhaps he would be able to introduce himself to some of them...

Arya looked down and then spoke. "Your words have touched me deeply Mr; Verdunt. I've decided to trust you. I somehow do know how it feels not having a mother because I don't. I'll gladly accept your help and I'm sure my father wil also. We do need you. But you need us too. I'll help you get revenge for your mother." She stands up. "Judge...Let him go."

Lyari had entered the court and heard everything she said. "Princess!" She looked up at him. "What are you saying? This is the bad guy! He's the reason your dad is suffering from that illness." He shakes his head. "And you decide to trust this guy?"
"You don't understand Lyari." She looks away from him. "You really don't! Just shut up and sit down.. Please.."
Lyari shoots an angry look at the demon before sitting down next to Arya, avoiding any eyecontact with her.

Sakura sighed and stood up and started walking over to the jurors stand when she stopped as the nobleman went on his rant.

How scared humans could be of one person just because someone of the very same race threatened to wipe out all of the other races. It was fascinating to her. She stood there as the nobleman finished his rant, then turned her attention to the verdunt. Sakura stared at him, waiting for his response, and possible reaction. She exhibited no fear of the boy, even after his demonstration of power.

After the boys retaliation, Sakura spoke up. "Best not to threaten he who is to provide me with evidence as to why I should have you killed." She stared coldly at him "And while your evidence is to be considered, I will require something better than a threat and self-confidence." She looked to Glacius "Same to you nobleman, I will require better evidence than something from a history text book. I'm well aware of what Baal did, as most people in this room are." Her attention turned back to Jason "Now, will both of you give me more evidence? Or am I to decide on something equivalent to dust?" She stood there, waiting for an answer from both.

Sakura looked up at Arya "You don't not have room to decide his fate here, I have been appointed that duty." Her gaze then returned to the two previously addressed
Caroline merely met the commanders gaze. She could kill the king and not be killed so long as her spiritual self was well hidden. But she wasn't that stupid, not could she do something that stupid unless Sakura commanded her too. Once the commander was out of the room, Caroline's attention went back to the prosecution at hand, someone yelling on about a guy named Baal, and how he was to cause the same thing the Baal guy did. And the boy retaliating with a threat that meant the near instant destruction of the human kingdom. It was Sakura's comment that Caroline waited for, she could see it in her eye.

Will smiled at the male. "Hullo! Yes, I am part of the circle. And trial? Who is going on trial?" The Ranger asked, a puzzled expression on his face. However, before the man answered him he rushed off in a hurry. Will followed behind, his longbow still in hand and his quiver full of arrows still slung over his back. He entered a room full of people and moved through them until he could see yet still remain in the shadows. He gazed curiously at the male on trial. Why he looked his age! What in the world could he have done to merit this kind of treatment? Will then heard someone address him as a demon and his curiosity doubled. A demon? He wondered what he could have done to be convicted like this. Will remained silent and unmoving in the shadows, his cloak helping him stay unseen by the people in the room. Of course, anyone with sharp eyesight would be able to spot him if they were looking but it would be difficult as the boy kept still and didn't move a muscle.

Glacius's veins where nearly popping out in anger. "If your father is really who you say he is, he only killed Baal after the founder of the Templar had engaged him in mortal combat, and wounded him to the point of no return. That is why we still revere her as the martyr she deserves recognition for! Your father simply hastened his death. And Glacius the Second, I personally gutted him and hanged his head as a warning to all traitors! AT least I make sure shit gets done! And your mother should have killed herself when she was captured, or at least slit your bloody throat after you were born, That filthy WHOR-"

"SILENCE!" Anders was tired of this now. This was no longer court-like. "Glacius. I know you know better than to speak foully of those you attempt to bring up that subject again. You proved that your family was still loyal to the Empire. For that, we thank you."

Anders then glared at Jason. "Please refrain from personal attacks. Like you said, you do not know who Glacius is personally.. Unlike you... his family had redeemed their honor long ago. How Lucifer himself would be able to redeem himself... or how you would redeem your family name... I know not. While... we do know that an attack was imminent since this morning, perhaps the jury will see that it is a show of your good faith, DESPITE your personal attack. This is a court of law and justice, not a bar for gossip and rumor."

"We need not of the Angel's holy weapon. We have our own sacred relics, that have proven to be as effective, or even more effective. Do not sully or tarnish their respect and trust the Angels have gained from us. They have actively participated in the defense of several city-states, and castles. They will bring their holy weapons to the fight, just not under mortal hands. Perhaps instead, you should worry of how the treatment of demons in the past will effect you."

Anders toward towards the princess. "I will decide a fate when the jurors send me their verdict princess. I am sorry, but you cannot order me around on an issue like this. Whether you support him or not.. Is your personal business. Not the court's. Now, Glacius, show me true evidence, or the jurors will make an inference based on their own judgement, as the Erolyte has stated."

Glacius pointed towards a Templar in the audience. "This man was there when the demon was apprehended. He will be my first witness."

The Templar came to the stand, and he repeated the vow. "By the Absolute Being, I swear I will tell the truth, and nothing but the truth." He then sat down and Glacius came up to the Templar, preparing to ask questions. "Now, Templar, were you there two moons ago, when this demon was apprehended?"

"Yessir. He appeared out of nowhere. We knew he was a demon because the oracle we had near us started to.. freak out."

"And what did you do next, Templar?"

"Well, we had one of the angels attempt to speak in demon tongue. The demon spoke in human tongue instead however, and we asked him to come with us. But he refused."

"By refused, what do you mean?"

"He killed four Templars, one Angel, before we subdued him."

"Just to be sure, point to the man who did this."

The Templar pointed directly at Jason. Glacius nodded. "I rest my case."

Anders glanced over at Jason. "You may cross-examine. But try any of that personal crap again, and I'LL come up with my own judgement of the case."

Arya clenched her fists. She didn't like this judge at all taken over from the other judge like that, speaking like he owns the place. Glacius was the worst of them all. He made her blood boil. "He didn't choose his parents! No one does!" She stood up again as result beeing grabbed back down again by Lyari who held his hand over her mouth. "Just shut up Ary. You're gonna get yourself killed like that." He said stern but softly in her ear. She struggled to brake free, but allas her friend was much stronger than she was. Gladius pointed to a templar who stood up. "He is my first witness." Gladius said as the templar started to speak.

Jason looked first at the man who had pointed at him. "I have done no harm to a human. As a matter of fact, as I recall. Your templars were..." then the boy steps back into the shadows, then disappears. Four different surprised screams come from the audience. Then Jason reappears and shoves four templars who were all wearing the same armor and idenficications as the man accusing him. "These four. Also as I recall, Guyers here," Jason said and pointed to a specific man who flinched slightly enough to tell that Jason had gotten his name right "thanked me for my cooperation and promised fair treatment." He said, then the templar spoke up "He lies! I was just added today sire." But his voice ws shaky and he was sweating, his eyes were glued to the boy, nervous of something. The man was quite obviously lying. Jason turns to the crowd, his electric blue eyes having a burning anger in them. "Therefore I have not harmed a single human." He said, then his voice shaking with anger as he tried to keep himself contained he turned to Glacius. "If you ever Insult my mother again I will give them a crime of capital murder to try me on. I will'not stand for that. She was a braver woman than any human could ever be." He growled. Then turned to the judge, he was quite obviously on a roll'here. "I apologize for that outburst, but I will not stand to hear my mother called such things. And I do not intend for my father to reclaim his honor or restore my family's. I plan to save the innocent and take lucifer's life. Then I will rebuild my kin to a better people. One with honor." He says, still quite hurt from the mother comment as his voice wasn't stable yet. When he went back to his area and stated "I apologize for my outburst. All is calm" and clenched a fist, the chair designated for him fell over from a telekintic push. Showing he was still feeling that reaction

Ansen the cloak and hat wearing Cianid made his way into the courthouse as the humans stopped and watched him walk by the countless stores and buildings that were on both sides of the streets. He heard his name, he heard a lot of other things such as guardian, wolf guy, mentor, strategist, and on some occasions he heard the word traitor come out from the mouths of the citizens who gossiped about him. The guardian ignored everything though and went up the steps and through the door without no problem due to his current status with the humans. When a guard stopped him he simply explained his identity and was let inside, coming just in time to hear Jason's plea.

Upon entering, the circle member merely stood by the door while tipping his hat back from the brim. He quickly took in the situation at hand and made his conclusions internally, knowing just merely his presence would spark some sort of unnecessary attention his way. So this is the demon. He thought, resting his left, non dominant hand casually on the hilt of his blade while observing the judge, jury, and the many spectators in their respective benches. One came to his attention, and that was the pair of elves who struggled to keep seated and quiet. Eventually after Jason's apology, the guardian spoke up, his ears flicking back and forth the first few words that came out of his mouth. "Seems like the order in this court is difficult to maintain. Perhaps a recess or a conclusion is in order before you all start drawing blades on each other?" He spoke from experience, recollecting the trial he had to face within his own race for abandoning his post.

"Perhaps chopping of this demon's head would be in order. It seems he cannot base things on logic, and instead resorts to personal attacks.. beastman." Anders called in a few Praetorian, and one roughly shoved Jason, a subtle warning that there would be trouble if he caused it. And they were not pushovers like the Templar. "Demon, I have done nothing but attempt to keep the calm, and ensure a trial was held for you. May I remind you that a few weeks earlier, if you had showed up, you would have been burned to death. I'm this close to holding you in contempt boy. You defile one's family, yet you cannot take it when someone else does the same to yours? Typical hypocrite. You're lucky I'm suggesting this trial continue. I'm sure the Templar-Commander would love to have a delightful barbecue outside with all his Templar friends. You make an outburst like that ever again, and you'll have your organs all filet'd, before your decapitated head hits the damn ground."

He was tired of this bullshit already, and this demon was pushing his luck. Greatly. "Furthermore, we will be having a recess. The jury will analyze the evidence presented thus far. However, you, Mr.Verdunt, will stay at the defendant's area. You may sit if you wish, but under guard at all times. Don't bitch about it. Don't throw a tantrum. Just fucking deal with it until the jurors decide whether we will still be having that barbecue. It seems the only thing we haven't resorted to is force... so I am doing so now. Everyone else is dismissed."

The courtroom grew loud, everyone buzzing about the trial. It was more exciting than it should have been, after all...

Anders walked off the judges podium and towards Ansen. "I have seen you before beastman. You have helped trained some of the peasants become war ready. You fight well, but... Any reason why you simply decided to show up at this half-assed trial today?"
