Bael didn't needed to be a specialist to understand that his little joke had caused a reaction which was the very opposite of laughter. In fact, those... eyes of her, the expressive and attractive eyes she had- they by themselves showed that Bael shouldn't had said that. He continued walking, glancing here and there at Lily, but remaining quiet. He was in fact afraid to say something which might hurt her. How ironic, a demon afraid to hurt someone's feeling. As if I'm not going to hurt her, anyway... He thought to himself, grunt of what seemed to be annoyance escaping him.
"Coming?"
When the angel asked that, Bael was seemingly lost in thoughts. It took him a while to stop, look at her and respond; "Oh, sure thing." Moving towards the door, Bael opened it, eyeing the elevator. He looked over to Lily, smiling lightly. "Seems we found it. Ladies first..." He gestured her towards the door, waiting her to go in first before moving after her.
