I'll go ahead and make an intro post after the training room scene, unless KL would rather have me introduce my character now.

I'm online and off work tomorrow so I'll be up posting tonight and be in titanpad soon.

I like Kid Rock, the uber American singer I can't stand is Toby Kieth.

My opinion on Patriot, his heart is in the right place. To me he comes off almost exactly like early 90's Superboy. Talks about his powers and shows off a bit, thinks he's the next Superman, etc. he actually tries to be a cardboard cutout hero. When I get around to the why we're in Star City I think he'll have room for growth as far as personality and how Superman view this Cadmus clone as opposed to Superboy.

Wasn't she gonna help Flash? She could help him get things into place better and take a little of the workload from him....

The War Room stuff is happening two levels deeper underground so nobody knows what's going on except for the heroes that are in the room and any who may be watching from the outside looking in.

EDIT: Posted again to move things along in the War Room. Interacted with almost everyone in there I think.

i wouldn't call him a cardboard cutout superhero, especially in today's world where it is hard to find nice people who aren't ether snobs or jerks of some kind. like with Superman, I feel like Patriot's edge is that he has to prove to himself and others that there can be good people. I don't believe you need to have a violent or brooding crime fighter to have a hero with a lot of depth, Superman vs The Elite proves that it's easy to give into extreme violence but it takes a real hero to know when to not cross that line, not to mention Patriot is a teenager, many teenagers really like showing off their talents, its very common. I think of Patriot as a person who is a great human despite not being entirely human which is an allegory of people who are different can teach others how to better themselves.

My last post had Ditto split up and he actually approached Patriot, Apollo, and even Plastic Man to an extent with a plan of action to take down the Doomsday holo-droid. I also introduced the fact there are holo-droids in the 'Room acting as civilians we have to keep from getting harmed and/or rescue....

Magnus Boyle
Alias -
'Fenrir'

Age-
18

Sponsor -
Hawkman

Personality -
Aggressive and confrontational yet extremely loyal

Powers -
Super Strength; Super speed;Enhanced durability and cellular regeneration;Super senses;

Weaknesses -
Alpha Male Mentality, Arrogant, His mind is almost constantly fractured in a struggle between Man and Beast; Lack of fine digit control and inability to process complex tasks, such as driving a car or typing at a keyboard.

Appearance -
Magnus is a 6'7" tall bipedal wolf-man. His head is large and lupine with bright, blue eyes and massive canine jaws ending in rows of sharp teeth. His shoulders are muscular but not too heavy for his frame, arms long and powerful. His legs are digitigrade and both fingers and toes have long, tough talons capable of shredding through armour plating. He also has a tufty tail, one that is constantly getting in his way, however it also helps him keep his balance. Pardoning the pun he is wolf lean without a shred of fat on his
body. His entire form is covered in thick, coarse black hair. His one piece of clothing is a concession that shows he has not yet completely abandoned his
humanity or his modesty, a pair of tattered grey cargo shorts that cover his manhood.

BRIEF Bio -
Fittingly enough Magnus Boyle was born in Alaska, on a balmy midsummer night during a full moon in 2002. His parents were overjoyed with their lusty, new-born baby boy, However when he grew his baby inch long canines and chewed through the furniture things weren't quite as jovial. From then on it was obvious Magnus wasn't a normal boy. He never got sick, he would howl at the moon, tore his fluffy stuffed bunny into shreds with his teeth, all sorts of stuff that would be hard to justify as 'normal'. He was
never violent to his family or friends but it was off-putting enough to warrant a visit to the family doctor.

They tried to keep Magnus's peculiarities a secret from the world at large, but secrets have a habit of getting found out. No one is sure were they came from but in the year 2012
several black vans were seen around the Boyles' home town. Shortly after that Magnus went missing. His parents still search to this day, but they have never
found so much as a whisker of they're son.

Recently however Magnus resurfaced, just not in a form they would ever recognise. Trapped in the guise of a Wolf-man, Magnus barely resembles the person he once was in either body or spirit. What trials he faced to bring on such a metamorphosis, only he can tell. His intentions aren't clear yet but he seems to be driven to help protect the innocent.

Magnus 'assisted' Hawkman in taking down a League of Shadows assassin cell that was set to remove a politician from office. I say assisst, but it would be more accurate to say that the Wolf brutalised the ninja's before Hawkman stepped in, stopping Magnus from tearing the assassins limb from limb. The two fought, as heroes usually do upon first meeting, with Hawkman gaining the upper hand after a long lengthy fight. The Feathered Avenger was impressed with Magnus's sheer power, but realised his savagery could become extremely destructive if left unchecked, and decided to take the pup under his wing, so to speak.

The rest, as they say, is history.

He's [the Flash] all around the HQ building stuff and bringing it from the different sources the League acquired the tech from. Barry is the fastest man alive but he can never keep up with modern tech as far as putting it together and programming it. The Engineer is jacked into some of the larger pieces of equipment already nearing completion while also helping Cyber Knight build our sky cruiser. Black Canary is also currently engaged in conversation with Flash as she'll be moving into the HQ as our den mother and mentor. With Green Arrow [her former husband] dead she's not the same person she is in today's comics. Also... while I'm at it, here's the JL2020 thus far in case you guys need visual reference like me...

Batman of course has his mask pulled back, which is something he'll not do around the younger heroes...

I also wanted to add that while Canary is becoming our den mother and mentor, Hawkman is now a retired Leaguer. If I HAD to put a face on him in the year 2020 I'd make him resemble that dude from lost, with another ten years put on him and a little of that gray in his hair as well...

I'm getting a sorta Kingdom Come vibe from the Flash, like he's close to living in that empty space between the seconds.

In the current comics they're working on a five year timeline with most heroes' careers beginning around 2009. I'm gonna use suspension of disbelief and say it was closer to 2005 when heroes became active. Superman was around 25 ish when he introduced himself to the world... 15 years later in 2020 he's 40 but just looks like a graying 25 year old. Batman was closer to 30 so now he's roughly 45. Most adult heroes were between 25 and 35... Hawkman was around 32 in my mind when he was acting as a hero in 2005 so he's 47 and a little more worn than the others....

Which brings me to my question.

Why would The Engineer dance around Batman being Bruce Wayne over the pizzas being paid for? Bruce is a very public figure, if he goes around with the cowl down the younger heroes would know Batman is the billionaire.

KL explicitly stated that walking around with his cowl down is something Bats doesn't do around the young'uns
