[IC] Fractions: A New Age

Kai woke up.. and decided to walk over to forest.. "Hey.. good morning", "have you seen that Ryan guy?" ... Kai saw the Soy milk.... and his jaw dropped... as he quickly grabbed a glass.. "Yum" he said sitting next to forest, with his soy milk and breakfast.

Mason had gone to bed shortly after his discussion with Nessie. It wasn't long after he woke up, and finding Kai and Forest already gone, he walked to the rec room. Having skipped dinner last night, Mason was very hungry. After grabbing something to break his fast, namely eggs, toast and some whole milk, he grabbed a seat next to Kai and Forest, "Erm.. What's up?"

Nyx back straightened as she tried not to make any sour faces while watching the two's intimate conversation. She lost her appetite for a life or death conversation and decided to excuse herself and made her way towards the dining. Luckily she still had her appetite for food, and it had ended up being early in the morning, which meant she hadn't slept in.... two days? She yawned but trudged on, making her way in to the dining area where people mingled. She wanted to engage but she wasn't really good at starting a conversation. Her long rosa colored hair was draped around her shoulders messily, but she had no energy to fix it. She ordered french toast, bacon and a coffee before sitting herself at an empty table. She didn't really like being alone with her thoughts. She pulled her bag off her shoulder and opened it up pulling out a sketch book along with a sharpen pencil. She began to doodle exquisite flames that stretched up to her sky that was dazzled with overgrown flowers whilst water was intricate across the branches that met the ground, some of the flowers were charred yet still looked beautiful. Fire was beautiful.

Forest greeted the two and pushed away her full plate, she hadn't really touched anything that wasn't full of sugar. "No I haven't seen him. How are you two today? Do you know if we have training? I want to visit Luna today." She asked as she drank down her second chocolate milk.

Austin watched her walk away, and after staring at the east wing for a bit he turned away, walking to his dorm and quickly falling asleep. He would go in when he was stronger. In the morning, he dragged himself out of bed, and walked to the rec room. Grabbing himself some food, he went and sat down, away from others. He ate with vigor, quickly wolfing down the medium sized breakfast. After that, he sat back to watch people, to study them. He was fond of studying people, it helped to learn their weaknesses.

She ripped up the drawing and tossed it away with the rest of her untouched food, maybe sleep would do her good. She got up and walked towards the lounge area before the piano caught her eye. She paused and looked around nonchalantly before sneaking over to the piano, maybe she could play just for a little and no one will notice. She bit her lip and smiled, running her fingers over the keys. She took a deep breath and sat down, her fingers began to work quickly, her body swayed while her hair floated gently against her back.

Kai left forest to watch Nyx play.. he remembered playing when he was young.. he sat there and watched.
He smiled a bit.. she was good.. but there was a song he had to play.. to get something of his mind.. his only bio-logical sisters.. death.

And once she stopped playing a bunc of people clapped.. and I said.. "th-that was good Nyx.. Can I hop on? Theres a song I need to play for somone" he muttered.. shyly. waiting for an answer.

Forest walked over to see the girl playing the piano and smiled, it was a song she knew well. She had played piano and a number of instruments before, maybe she would go after the girl.

Kai waited.. for a response.. he needed this.. to set peace to his sister.. once again.. it was her birthday after all.

She had lost herself in the music, something she enjoyed. Being locked up in her 'dungeon' did have their bright sides, she learned most skills kids never even heard of but she was modest and never really showed people. When she stopped and looked up her whole body jumped, two people were now watching her and she could feel her face become hot. But then blinked back to it's normal color when it was only because someone else wanted to play. She got up sheepishly, so piano was a no go. She stood to the side and suggested the seat to Kai, wondering if she should flee then and there.

Kai said "This.. is a song I played at my sisters funeral..." he shed a tear before starting to play.



He felt tension inside of him starting to play.

Forest turned and sighed as she moved away from the two. Watching Kai patiently she wondered if she should question him or not.

Nessie blinked when Nyx left, then glanced about, seeing the time. "Oh. W-wow. We t-t-talked all n-n-n-night. I'm S-s-s-s-starving. I'll s-see you l-later" She smiled at James, then went to the mess hall, ordering some food. She sat down at a table by herself, glancing up at the music drifting along.

When Kai finished he turned towards forest.. with a tear in his eye while smiling.

Mason saw Nessie sitting sitting alone, seeing as he'd been abandoned by Kai and Forest, he went over and sat down next to her. "Uhh.... Feeling better today?"

Nessie looked up and smiled, "Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-yes" She said, although she yawn, making the stuttering seem worse. She blushed, and looked back down at her food, "I d-d-didn't s-sleep much" She said in way of an excuse.

"Emm.... That's alright, I didn't sleep well either. Umm.. It's disconcerting being in a strange place for the first couple of nights. Ehh... I didn't sleep well either." Mason confessed.

Nessie smiled, and offered him some of her toast, "E-e-eat then, and w-w-we c-c-can try not to f-f-f-fall asleep t-t-t-together" She said, drinking from her coffee mug
