No, I meant... I kind of want Colombia, because it's my country and all, if it's possible to reserve it but I might live as Austria-Hungary (and if I don't, he had picked it up faster than I had) so it's best if I leave it to Aegon.

I'm going to see if I can play India (which involves not only seeing if that ends up being realistic (i.e. Britain losing the Great War) and if the guy would be willing to lose one of his best colonies. If not, then I want Colombia, and would like to tentatively reserve that nation. Joint Owned Sounds Fantastic, and the way you put it, Colombia could very well but out the U.S. with money it gets from the Canal and eventually provide it with it's own security force. Colombia rockets back to the top echelons of my list.

Sondre Lerche being quoted by the Emir of Afghanistan. I'll have to check that off my list.

I would recommend not taking Saud. Assuming I survive this war somewhat intact, I have (peaceful) designs for it further down the line.

Although I am receiving a beating, so whatever, choose what you want.

Just saw this. Dude, I really doubt you can buy the canal back. I am even surprised the US player let Colombia have so many benefits from it. The control will be mostly enforced by the US and if it's violated... well, just see the US invasion of Panama. Don't let it deter you from playing Colombia, though. The benefts you've gotten' are great and the fact you can excercise a little power over the canal is good on its own, seeing how Colombia is, by this age, pretty darn undeveloped. Watch out for internal strife and try to solve the Conservador-Liberal conflict before it blows up on your face again, there's a hegemony of Conservador presidents until 1930 if I remember correctly. You will save a lot of trouble later if you solve this now, believe me. Basically most conflicts within Colombia stemmed from these kind of rivalries that can be traced to the Gran Colombia. But anyways, I digress. Good luck leading Colombia!

Also, I don't know if the Thousand Days' War happened or not. That devastated the country as a whole, so if it didn't happen it'll be good for you.

pssst you also have the oldest commercial airline in the western hemisphere.

Colombia practically owns the canal as it stands.

I'd literary be paying the US to not have to expend resources or security. If probably throw in some benefits in using the canal too (reduced taxes, no taxes for a certain amount of time, or something of the like)

Wait, are new players being let in to play yet? Also, just so I can have a full idea of who I might want to plays are there any available European nations BESIDES Portugal?

There's lots of countries to choose from, you'd be surprised how fun it is even as a minor nation.

Timur's tomb was inscripted with "When I rise from the dead, the world shall tremble." It is also said that when the archaeologists exhumed the body, an additional inscription inside the casket was found reading, "Who ever opens my tomb, shall unleash an invader more terrible than I."

Two days later operation Barbarossa commenced.

Furthermore, he was buried just before the conclusion of operation Uranus.

You know what this means Dutch, right? Uzbekistan must remain with Timur's heirs as respect to his tomb. The Great Father Timur has spoken.

I'm not sure how conservative Afghans were in 1918, but I'm pretty sure that if the Emir of 'Timuristan' was in Afghanistan today, he'd have been stoned by now. Some of what he's suggesting is literally illegal in many Muslim countries.
