Posted. I love love love LOVE RPing Elizabeth, but I also feel I should clarify a couple things in my post, mainly about Elizabeth's delusional thought processes on Rudy.-hopefully-, it doesn't seem too outlandish for a 12yr old, but I used a few things I learnt ages back.
First thing is a bit of a theory that always interested me, which was nature vs nurture. As it turns out, if you isolate a child enough from people in their age group, and only use responsible adults - they show a lot of adult mannerisms. I believe it's something to do with adapting to their surroundings, but it makes them easier to handle. Of course, it is CLEARLY not ethically right, so there isn't much about nature vs nurture.
Second thing was a bit of personal experience - I once volunteered to help out in a maths competition. (yeah yeah no life I know but it looked good for my 'experiences' on my CV, so...) and these kids were probably like 9 or something, and came from really prestigious private schools. 9 years old, and they managed to comprehend Quadratic Equations, and basic Trig. I was beyond shocked. It was, in a way, really really amazing to see such bright children, but also really really frightening to think about how many lessons and stuff they've had to go through to get to that stage.
But I also think that kids will ALWAYS be kids, no matter how deep you try to bury it. So Elizabeth is a mismatch of two worlds - the dominant one being the 'adult' frame of mind she's got, how she's been taught that showing childishness is a sign of weakness and humiliation, coupled with about as much social interaction as a teaspoon. She's basically working on textbook lessons alone.
Which is why Elizabeth's so interested in Rudy, and why I bet the two of them will become fast friends. Elizabeth needs to be taught how to be a kid, and Rudy might want someone as rich as her to be scared of and probably learn things from. XD

tl;dr - I like Elizabeth a lot and I hope she isn't looking like a Mary Sue because really she's an idiot. <3
