A Certain Tavern Somewhere in Kaymari...
<Wow, human cities really are wierd...I can't see the sky at all!>
Aes'tille sits invisibly behind an unused mug, closely examining the various tavern-goers as they laughed, drank and sometimes fell over. She had heard of a place like this in the old legends, but she had never thought she might someday visit one. Excitement wells up inside of her tiny chest, as she peeks her head over the mug to take a look at the nearest patrons.
An Elf, an Orc and a bard walk into the bar. She finds this strangely amusing, but she can't quite tell why. She watches the Elf, who talks to the Orc for a while before sitting down at one of the immense stools and ordering some kind of drink. All sorts of exciting details pop out at her excitable fairy brain, details like clothing. The clothing on these people.
Back home, she wasn't used to seeing clothing outside of a few fancy-pants, but here it seemed almost everybody was covered in the stuff. She would have to bring this revelation back to her people, once she was done her quest.
Suddenly, a brick wall of realization strikes the Fairy so hard, she nearly tumbles from her minuscule hiding spot. <Of course,> she could recruit heroes here, just like the Great Hero herself had done. Resolving to find an epic hero to help her out, preferably on with comfortable hair, she pops out of her hiding spot. Fluttering casually across the bar and landing on the nose of the elf, she stares him right in the eyes (invisibly, of course.) He seemed interesting enough, with a cool sorta gleam in his eyes. <The gleam of adventure>, she mused, tilting her head to get a better look at his elf-ness. He seemed elfy enough, he must have been some kind of super elf, one with special elf powers or something. This was all it took to convince the miniature hero that he was the elf for her, and she wasted no time becoming visible right in front of his face and waving-
"Hi! I'm Aes'tille! Join my team, I wanna go on a quest!"
Eoin probably wouldn't realize it, but the Fairy had revealed herself to him alone. To the rest of the bar, she was still entirely invisible, lest they decide to wash down their water with a little stardust. Aes'tille wonders curiously if the elf had any Fairy-sized clothes for her, since she felt a little left out, but somehow she knew that he held nothing of the sort.
