Dang, love what you did giving the rifle to Axel.
But can you explain the net weapon?
How does it cut? as I understood it he threw 2 orbs on the ground and one in the air and Dresden ran into the net suspended between them?
I'm sceptical as how that would harm him. Constrict him sure, but he really shouldn't be hurt too badly. The only force that keeps the net straight is the momentum of a small metal orb right? And silicon doesn't really cut. Not trying to be difficult or anything hehe, I get that 'infinitely sharp' is meant as a figure of speech.
Ural is still boss.

Dang. I liked Dresden. Seems such a loss for him to be out of the game. Why did you do that?

Blade wire. It's a silicon wire so thin that it becomes incredibly sharp. If you were to drop a sheet of paper on a string of silicon blade wire, it would cut the sheet of paper in half. That's how sharp it is. This is a net of that stuff suspended between three metal orbs, which can expand and retract the net.

Personally, I'm thinking Walter from Hellsing Ultimate. The idea of such a deadly trap is cool. I could however argue that the molecular (cuz it's a string of silicon atoms) bonds between said atoms would break before they "cut" between the molecules (inter molecular bonds) of other objects... not to mention the question of the relative size of the silicon atoms compared to say... titanium atoms... maybe you should have used some kinda lasers, but anyway... cool trap.

No, the atomic force of the thread would hold it together. The idea of the threads is that being so thin, in fact, allows it to bond the molecules on an atomic level, which means the atomic force of the nucleus would hold it all together, a far stronger force than the usual molecular force.

can you support that? link to source?
The other point was that there wasn't really anything holding the net in place. If I run at full speed at a bedsheet suspended from a clothesline the question isn't if I run in with enough force to rip trough it, won't happen.I'll just take the thing with me wont I?

Hallucinogen's fall under the category of poison. Any substance that is harmful to the body when ingested is classified as a poison. Hallucinogenics create illusions by effectively punching the brain until it can't see straight, which is quite bad for your mental health.

Monofilament wire is a fictional wire that appears in a variety of movies and novels, including Hellsing and several other works of literature and animation. It's not real, if that's what you're asking.
Now, if you were to run full force into a katana, the katana would be so sharp that your body would be cut to shreds. If you have a really sharp knife, you won't be able to exert any real force on it due to the fact that the edge is so thin.

That's what my searches came up with too. I'm cool with the wires existing since it's 20 years of Jack level science further down the road.
Still, shouldn't the wires weigh practically nothing? The katana cuts because it has some inert mass that needs to be moved by the body hitting it. To move the katana you apply force to it, and because it's on an edge it cuts. But the wire has practically no mass, other than the metal orbs that aren't connected to anything.

I think the wires would wrap around him, and then constrict him. Then it would cut him when he tries to break free. The wires digging deeper into his skin until they wrap around his bones and start to cut into that. He'd still die I think, but from massive blood loss all over rather than being.
A lot more agonizing than a clean cut now that I think of it.
