If it's not too much of a bother, could you recap what's happened in Morrowind? If I join, I'd like to know what the current situation is, and what important things have happened.

Sure thing, so far these are the important things that happened in Morrowind.

The capital was moved from Blacklight, to the city of New Vivec, a larger version of Vivec, built on the crater created by the moon Baar Dau when it crashed.

The Akaviri contacted King Oravos, and have settled an alliance with Morrowind. Morrowind is spared from the Akaviri invasion, and are providing support to the Akaviri's advances on Black Marsh, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim. All factions have done Morrowind wrong in the past centuries except for Skyrim, who's only getting antagonized by Morrowind for a reason.

Morrowind formed an alliance with the Maormer (Sea Elves), which eventually made a pact with the Akaviri as well.

Morrowind trades with Pyandonea, Akavir, and Summerset Isle. Valenwood is an ally, but trade and other interactions has been cut off since they've allied with the Imperials.

Azarkan, a golem construct made by Yagrum Bagarn met an unfortunate (CHIM'ed) accident and got destroyed, which added to the fire of the Argonians in Morrowind getting recalled to the Black Marshes by the HIst. With this event, Vvardenfell is now off limits for Outlanders (Voted by all of the council members) but mainland Morrowind is still open for them.

House Redoran to be armed with Akaviri styled weapons and armor soon.

Hlaalu antagonizing House Sadras and Dres covertly, and are establishing a new drug cartel.

Morag Tong now becoming an addition to Morrowind's military.

Ordinator order is reformed, and are working for the High Priests.

Relations:

Skyrim: Neutral, involvement of the Dunmer in the Akaviri invasion is not yet revealed to them, but soon they'll know.
Cyrodiil: Strained, involvement of the Dunmer in the Akaviri invasion is not yet revealed.
Valenwood: Allied, but are left alone.
Black Marsh: Strained, direct involvement of the Dunmer in the Akaviri invasion is not yet revealed but soon they'll know.
High Rock: Neutral
Hammerfell: Neutral
Orsinium: In good terms, trade is established, with a Telvanni Magelord smoothing the relations further.

Those are the thing's that I think are worth mentioning, for info's regarding to holdings and other stuff, they're on my Nation Sheet :D
(Great Houses can conquest new lands, but aren't allowed to exceed the army size of the standing army of Morrowind.)

Sorry for my unexplained absence. I am afraid I am going to have to drop. Some irl things were unexpectedly dropped on my head, some good and some bad, all eating into my free time. As a result I do not have the time for much RPing anymore. Sorry.

Aww... Dick(!)... I'm gonna fail miserably now... :'(

EDIT: Wait... That's what I've been doing all along... :(

EDIT: Must be some pretty serious (or a heavy load) things, 'cause I have a lot of things eating in to my time, but I still manage to do something (rarely, but I eventually do something... (Sorry, people, but I'm not one to get things done! xD))

I might start a timer to see how long it takes for my nation to crumble (AGAIN!)... Hmm...

I'd like to pick up the imperials since darkwolf dropped out. I've had my eye on this RP for a while now, waiting for a good opening. The Imperials seem like as good an opening as any, especially since they've been modified to fit the roman stratagems a bit more.

Can I get a synopsis of what's happening with Cyrodiil right now and in the recent past? Links to relevant posts would be better, but that's a lot of work for you guys (almost as much as it would be for me reading through 8 pages of backstory, though I will read as much as I can).

Woooolf! Noo! I wish you luck on your ventures though. :(

@Schradinger, feel like I've seen you somewhere before.

As far as events in the Empire here's what's not un the Empire sheet...

Events:
First off the Cyrodiilic Disconnect, a nasty disease which is reported to cause out of body experiences and feeling of their soul being drained away is ravaging Cyrodill at the moment, Angela Venarius the only alchemist with the know how to cure it has currently fled to Daggerfall.

Second, Catland has just come out of a civil war for independence, the Pro empire faction won out and it is now technically part of the empire but is in dire struts atm.

Thirdly, The Akaviri have at last landed in Black marsh and Skyrim, Winterhold has been turned to ruin, and Windhelm and Thorn sacked. Empire looked like it might have been going north to help Skyrim before wolf had to go.

Fourth, Hammerfell and the Empire have signed a tentative treaty or otherwise known as a Defense pact, as well as trading rights recently. This in the face of a possible Dominion war on Hammerfell that is very likely to happen.

Those are the major stuff I can recall atm. The Empire have their hands full it seems. :P

We were also part of The Empire before the civil war, just saying, but basically, Grevious is correct. It's a shame wolf went... :( He really liked this too...

Does the arena multiverse ring any bells Khan?

Is it alright if I personalize their military a bit as soon as I pick them up, or is that something that would have to wait and be done IC? Mostly it would just be a better outline of troop composition and outfitting, as well as the composition and role of mages in the Legion.

Though I'll be unable to edit the original NS for them, so I'm not sure how I'd go about that... Do I make a new nation sheet for any changes I need? (Such as alliances and heroes and such as they come about).

You can copy Darkwolf's existing profile for modifications and extrapolations. I prefer that you don't change anything specific before your IC posts, after that, you can start shaping Cyrodiil in your own directions.

Also, do you intend to keep the previous emperor or make a new one? It wouldn't be too likely for the old emperor to suddenly introduce reforms, at least, it would be easier to revamp the country with a new ruler. If you do decide to crown a new emperor, the last emperor, Gaius, will succumb to the Cyrodiilic Disconnect and die from the disease.

I'd be disappointed if you didn't. :K

I'd imagine you can remake the NS, people who have replaced other nations have done pretty much the same. Heck someone had to remake their NS when they had been inexplicably absent for a long time.

Up to Gcold, but you most likely will be able to.

It was either that or have him start being manipulated behind the scenes by someone else in the empire, perhaps a powerful Mage or the leader of the Penitus Oculatus. Then after a bit have another figure rise to prominence, expose the plot, and replace the current emperor. It just doesn't feel right to kill off an emperor without some sort of intrigue.

Edit: Perhaps the Mage secretly sympathizes with the Akaviri, and so begins to subtly manipulate the emperor into taking a more friendly stance toward them. It could make for all kinds of excellent political intrigue RP.

That's a possibility as well. Cyrodiilic emperors get assassinated all the time, not matter if they are Remans, Potentates or Septims, no monarch's safe from sudden death.

You have the freedom to choose whatever you want in this situation, just make sure you state it explicitly in your NS.

Seems everyone and their mother is going to join the Akaviri club. Pretty soon they will have nothing to conquer. XD
