Booker smiled and kissed Mason on the cheek once more. "Shall we go find those weapons?" He asks her.

"Alright.." With that, Booker moves onward, continuing on the dirt path he was on previously.

Mason followed, walking right beside him

"Alright...we're here." Booker says as he approaches a weeping willow. He grabs a nearby shovel and begins digging up a hole beside the tree until the shovel comes into contact with something. He then does the rest of the digging by hand until he uncovers a good-sized container which he removes from the hole. "Here they are..." He states. He moves to open the box when suddenly, he hears a noise in the brush. "Mason...hide...now..." He says he slowly removes his hand cannon from inside of his coat.

Mason was spooked and she changed into a Tawny Owl and flew up into the tree in fear

"Come out or I'll shoot." Booker calls to whoever is currently hiding in the brush, loading his gun as he speaks. The unknown person stands from their hiding place, his face hidden by the shadows. Unfortunately, Booker didn't see the man's gun. "Damn grave robbers think you can do whatever the hell you--Aagh!" Booker yells in pain as a bullet clips him in the left arm. The robber uses this moment of shock and makes a run for it. Booker fires a few shots, but realizes that he's simply wasting ammunition as the man moves out of range. He quickly puts his gun away and begins applying pressure to his left arm, the pain spreading in his body.

Mason let out a screech and she launched herself off the branch and at the shadowy figure that had shot Booker

The shadowy figure is very fast, never stopping to see what was going after him. Soon enough, he came to a forest nearby the cemetery and went deep into the woods, the canopy so thick with branches that it made flying after the man and tracking him from a bird's eye view difficult.

Mason stopped at the edge of the forest her gray eyes looked menacing as she landed in front of the trees. She swerved her head around to try and see where Booker was at

Booker had followed after Mason, trying to catch up to the shady figure as well, but he stopped at a nearby tree once he realized his wound was his top priority.Luckily for him, the bullet had simply grazed his arm instead actually embedding itself in his skin, so all he had to do was wrap that area with gauze and his magic would do the rest. His right hand was covered in blood, regardless.

Mason changed back into her human form. She looked at him with worry in her gray eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked

"Yeah...damned grave robbers...hopefully, he didn't take anything..." Booker says, sounding more wounded from letting the intruder getting away than the bullet wound.

"Well who ever that person was when I find them." Mason muttered glaring off into the woods.

"Honestly, I was a bit surprised by your sudden transformation there...how long have you been able to do that?" Booker asks.
