Layla stayed sitting against the wall, unsure about being surrounded by a lot of people. Seeing as her parents had to hide Lilith and herself, they were not around people very often and so the angel was very much uncomfortable being trapped in a room with people crazy enough to try and kill her. She wrapped her wings in tighter around her, finding it strange that Lilith was silent; probably still seething about their current predicament.
It was then that she noticed a girl that had hidden behind the boy that had been unconscious was giving her a small smile. Layla gave her a timid smile in return, slightly glad someone seemed normal....at least as normal as you could given you weren't human. She jumped slightly when a loud voice rang through the room and she looked over to see that the smiling girl had tipped her chair over and was giggling on the floor. She quickly looked away, not sure it wise to make eye-contact.

Karou continued to remain curled up in the corner, watching the others with her normal wide-eyed expression. The man in darkness scared her and made her nervous every time he came into the room. The white-haired boy seemed okay and the rest were okay as well...sort of. She hugged Mary closer to her chest, wishing Garry was there.
As if summoned, a young man that appeared in his late teens materialized next to her. His stock of light and dark purple hair fell around his bright blue eyes as he gave Karou a gentle smile. Karou smiled back happily, not realizing that Garry was not real but an illusion she was creating with her mind.
