Iris returned to her silence upon hearing that the vice president would be taking over the doctor's duties while he was gone - and that the Advent would not be needed. Satisfied in her obscurity, she turned to answer her superior in the division of planetary defence.

"Leader," Iris whispered into his ear while keeping her gaze directed at the centre of the meeting, "It is the Unity's belief that the council of the isolated - that is to say, this council - has been corrupted."

"Thank you for your nice approval Kong.." Shizuru said returning a smirk in kind. She did it without drawing notice tho.

The Doctor knew this council was corrupted. He didnt know who yet, would wait to make a move now, but later once he knew who was behind this. "Thank you for the advice Shizuru...but Im leaving that job to Hiro and Iris. They are in charge of defending this planet.., and they are a fantastic at defending it," He smiled at the duo.

Luthor said "Well Doctor we await your return..." He sipped his coffee. While the Doctor was gone he could make plans for the Shadow's own personal army. He might need Eric's help though. His magic could help provide some defenses against the Sonic Screwdriver.

Iris heard the Doctor mention her and Hiro's name and broke off from their whispered private conversation.

"The Unity is grateful for your confidence in us and our leader." She spoke, referring to Hiro in "our leader".

"Then I will leave it to them..I look forward to their work.." Shizuru replied glad things were playing out nicely. Now that she was in charge....alot was about to change. Once the Doctor left she would arrange a special meeting for a few on the Counsil. ..

Cecil walked into the Council meeting room. He knew he was late, but he had things he needed to take care of first. As the general of the military, his first priority was making sure nothing went wrong within the army, then his next priority was the council, which he knew had been corrupted, but he did not know who it had been corrupted by. He sat in his chair, and glanced around at the others, before looking at the Doctor.

The Doctor smiled at Cecil. He then looked at everyone else and said "I'm going to see Paine and let her know I chose her. This meeting is adjourned." The doctor left to meet Paine.
Luthor got up and said "Shizuru, can I have a word with you in private?" He led her outside. "So Madam President Shizuru...it has a nice ring to it."

Paine finished her training session and was satisfied she had not faltered in her skills during this moment of peace. She was aware of a plot by some corrupt members but nothing she could do with no evidence to prove this rumor. Wiping sweat off her forehead she headed for the army's food area to get a drink.

Shizuru looked at Luthor. "I agree it does. So what can I help you with?" She asked slightly playful but serious as she sipped her tea cup .

Natsuki parked her motorbike outside the hotel and began to head inside. After a long day she felt exhausted and wanted to rest before trying to resume her goal.

Hiro took notice to Iris' whisper. "It is the Unity's belief that the council of the isolated - that is to say, this council - has been corrupted." Hiro turned back to whisper back. "So I've heard,,, I suspect Eric to be one of them being of his past... but who knows. I guess I can't make judgments yet..." He had finished whispering to Iris when he heard Doctor commend Him and Iris' skill in The Planetary Defense. "Thank You Doctor!" He said, then heard the poor news that the Doctors race has pretty much wiped out. He simply frowned and left it as is. Eric, on the other hand, was quite furious when The Doctor declined his offer to help The Doctor. Luckily, Eric knew how to keep his cool and just replied with a "Alright, Thanks..." Hiro smirked as he began to speak to Eric. "He's smarter than that Eric, besides The Doctor is very unique when it comes to Intelligence and Ability, something you don't have." Eric looked away towards the glass wall peering outside. "Hiro, it's fine... I already understood when he said so..." He replied back to Hiro. That's why I wanted to come was to learn everything he did... oh well... Eric thought as he tap his foot in a repetitive manor.

Seeing that the meeting was adjourned, Iris stood up and followed Hiro, seeing as she was his assistant in the department although she made sure to maintain a respectable distance to make sure that she couldn't overhear his conversation with Eric.

Ayane entered the hotel lobby, the same hotel Natsuki was currently in, carrying her luggage case. Behind her, her manager was going over her scheduled performance at the Raxon theatre. Ayane was barely listening, however. Although her civilian life as a famous piano player was still important, there was another thing that had piqued her interest.

Skinfaxi was activating. There was someone with some sort of magic here.

After her manager finished talking and Ayane finished pretending to listen, she headed towards the check in to book a room while mentally reminding herself to go give the person the signal originated from a visit.

Natsuki entered the elevator and headed for her room on the second floor. Once she got out of the elevator she began to make her way to her room. She was satisfied no one could tell she just snuck into a room without paying. She even had a card key she obtained from a client.

Obtaining her room and bidding farewell to her manager, Ayane entered the elevator and headed towards her room on the second floor. However, as she walked Ayane was aware of one thing.

Skinfaxi's reading was getting stronger. In fact, with each step she took towards her room it was getting stronger and stronger. Was it an intruder? That couldn't be; she had just booked her hotel room moments ago.

Had the Shadows of the Universe discovered her Valkyrie persona and set up a trap?

Reaching the door, Ayane let go of her luggage and prepared herself to react instantly if it was indeed a trap. Ready, Ayane used her card key and opened the door to reveal Natsuki, who had forgotten to hack the hotel's system so that this room would be marked as taken.

"...excuse me," Ayane said in a surprised voice to conceal the fact she knew someone was in here, "...this... this is my room."

The Doctor went to the Armies eating area. He smiled at Paine. :Hello Paine, its nice seeing you again.." THe Doctor sat down looking at all the weaponry. He disliked violence but had a army to defend this planet. His new home. "Im going on a travel. Im going to try and make a alliance with other planets...the council says I might need a bodyguard....and I pick you.." The Doctor said with a smile.

Luthor smiles and said "Well Im curious about our plans.." He began walking down the halls with her, into a more secluded area. "With the Doctor gone, your in charge.....if we want to move forward we need to make sure that Hiro and Iris dont find out...I can tell they suspect people already..." He then pulled out a hologram tablet and showed his designs for a army. "But with the Doctor's Sonic screwdriver he could mess it up. Im thinking either deadlocking the controls, or using magic in their making.."

"Your room?" Natsuki said raising a eyebrow at Ayane. "Well fine take it." Mentally cursing herself for not taking measures to secure this room she stood. "I will find another place to stay..." Her tone was cold but she usually acted like this to people when she felt like not speaking much.

Paine was surprised to see the Doctor. "President...it would be a honor. Just let me refresh myself..." She got a can of soda and then picked up her weopon sheathing it . She had her garmet Grid with 3 nods filles with a small sphere. After placing it safely away she nodded. "I am prepared." Paine rarely spoke much but she was in the presence of her President.

Shizuru looked at Luthor 's plans. "I believe we should send one of our members who have that kind of power. I could do it myself but I risk getting caught. As for Iris and Hiro they should be easy to deal with if we play our cards right.." She thought. "Iris is psionic correct? We would need someone with knowledge in countering her and her other Collectives. " She knew it would not be easy to outwit a being that could read minds. "As for our plans ...In time Luthor. We will consort with our other members once the Doctor has departed. You may begin on your plans for building our army..." She agreed to his plans.

"...wait." Ayane stopped Natsuki, sitting down on the couch and turning to her.

"Who exactly are you?" she asked. "And why are you so desperate enough that you broke into a hotel of all places? Are you... homeless?"

[Dark Elsa]

"I am not homeless. Let's just say I am involved in a line of work that requires me to not be located...why do you want to know anyways..?" She was not going to trust some random girl who wanted to stick her nose into her buisness. "And my name is none of your consern...not now anyways ."

A line of work that required her not to be located. At first, Ayane considered secret service, but secret service couldn't possibly make such a rudimentary mistake like not checking out hotels properly.

"...are you..." she said after a moment, "...you're affiliated with the Shadows of the Universe, aren't you? That's why you need to remain hidden, to avoid law enforcement."

At the mention of the accusation Natzuki's face got pained and livid. "Do not ..associate me with those damn people..." She opened her hand and a small glow formed into a small pistol which she aimed at Ayame. "I am not with them. I oppose them..because ..they. .."In her eyes small tears were apparent her pistol hand trembling.

Ayane remained calm even as Natsuki pointed the gun at her. As much as she wanted to pull out Stringroad right there and then, she knew she had to keep that ability a secret. Even with her life at stake.

"...I apologize for assuming the worst." she said gently. "It's clear to me that you despise the group." Perhaps they had killed or taken someone she held dearly? Ayane was not sure. "In any case, please allow me to make it up to you. How about I pay for a hotel room for you here?" she offered.

"I will explain later...sorry for acting so rash..." Natsuki made her weopon vanish. "You are right in guessing they took someone I cared about away..." Hearing the offer she shrugged. "If you want I do not care.." She said as she wiped her tears. "My name is Natsuki Kuga...."
