The planet Gaetica, planetary council was having a meeting, in the main city Raxon.
The Council came to order, and the Doctor, currently in his 9th incarnation walked in. "Hello Council. I have some news to tell.." He used the sonic screwdriver to activate the hologram. "There are rumors of a group trying to take down the council." The Doctor said. He looked at the council members and said "If I cant trust you will be expelled form this council, and banished from this planet. Do I make myself clear?"

Luthor smiled as the Doctor mentioned the Shadows of the Universe. He didnt know what they were called and who was in it. So they may have the upper hand on him if he doesnt know who is on it. Lex said "Well, Doctor, Im sure you can trust all of us.."

[Dark Elsa]

Vice President Shizuru nodded to the Doctor as he entered. Calmly she sipped her tea. "President I can assure you no one here could possibly be a part of that terrible group. Our purpose is to watch over this planet and we shall." She replied in a calm and collected manner. With her composure no one would suspect she was keeping a secret from him. She secretly grinned slyly at Luther in regards to the mention of the group. "Any threats we will personally deal with.."

Iris was sitting in her place as second in command of Planetary defence. Being one of the lower ranking members of the council, Iris was unsure if she should act upon her suspicions.

Namely, the fact that through her psionic abilities, she was picking up large amounts of deceit and treachery. The Advent commander had no doubt that Vice president Shizuru's assurances were unfounded. However, where those the ambitions and the deceptions of the supposed insurgency? Or were they merely the petty traits of isolated politicians?

Greater Nest Captain Alyssa recommends voicing suspicions to the isolated for Coalescent Iris. One of the captains of the Carriers in the space above them spoke through the unity's hive mind. The moment the Doctor had made his announcement the entire unity had been telepathically debating on what Iris' next course of action should be. We cannot risk our leaders being under the influence of corruption, no matter what.

Heliopolis Captain Trinity objects to Alyssa's statement. I recommend a passive course of action for the Coalescent instead. Another member of the unity spoke up.

Acolyte Selendis, quartermaster on board the Heliopolis concurs with Captain Trinity's statement. Coalescent Iris does not hold a high position within the council of the isolated. I fear that even if we were to voice our opinion, we would not be trusted.

I hear your points and I concur with Captain Trinity and Acolyte Selendis. Iris finally decided. I will simply watch for now, safe in the knowledge that our Unity cannot be penetrated as easily as the council of the isolated.

And so the Second in command of planetary defence sat silently, watching the council meeting go on.

~Hiro Mendez & Eric Drone~
Hiro Mendez frowned when The Doctor mentioned that somebody was trying to take down the Council, especially if it's somebody within the inner circle, then quickly changed to a grin. "I can assure you all that I am trustworthy to the matter and that if anyone makes a move that they will be taken down quickly, no matter the being." Eric, arriving late, entered a little more rushed than normal. "I sincerely apologize... I didn't expect to be slightly be delayed in personal issues..." Eric says as he sits on the opposite of Hiro's side of the table. "So... what did I miss?" Eric said soon replied from Hiro. "A group is planning to go against us and there are rumors stating that someone within this very council, or a few, is plotting against us... and you better be on your best behavior Eric... I've known your past..." Hiro said to Eric. Eric laid back on his chair and kicked his feet up on the table. "Hiro, I have already attempted to fix my mistakes, and well this council is a great way to make up for it, start "anew" if you wish to say... my job here isn't to mess with y'all and basically preform suicide, no I want to protect people for once in my life." Eric said smiling at Hiro. "Alright" Hiro responded, then looked towards The Doctor and Shizuru. "I apologize for our interruption..." Hiro said, semi-bowing in his chair towards The Doctor and Shizuru.

"No it is no trouble at all.." Shizuru responded gently to Hiro. "This meeting has just started. Go on President. ." She said to the Doctor.

"Donkey Kong!" exclaimed Donkey Kong as he pounded his desk with mock anger over the mention of the Shadows of the Universe. He composed himself and began to rapidly straighten and organize his notes he had compiled as adviser to the council. He knew he would need to put on a convincing performance if his secret was to go unnoticed.

I enter the room silently, as I am know for. I sit in my appointed chair, and intensify my light reducers to make level 6 of 10, meaning that the area around me is noticeably darker than the rest of the room. Light reducers are a form of technology I created that essentially does the opposite of a lightbulb. I have these deceives attached to my person so that wherever I go, I can keep myself in a darker area as my species is accustomed to.
Upon hearing the president's statement about an uprising, I smirk and lean forward, my glasses glinting blue and red.
"Mr. President, are you feeling anxious about the fact that there may be a few people who think they could do a better job than you? Isn't that part of our lovely form of government? I'm not saying that I would condone such an action, as it'd most likely end in an unwanted and very early retirement for myself. But, I'd definitely understand such a proposal, we have been... Lacking in a few areas."
I say, the smirk evident in my semi-cynical voice..

Shizuru raised a eyebrow at Tat. "I would watch what you say to our President.." Her tone was pleasent still not hinting at her annoyance.

The Doctor nods at them all and would trust them for now. Some of these members he would trust with his life. "Alright. On more pressing matters....Ive been thinking about exploring the universe. I will go in my TARDIS, and try to make alliances with foreign planets.."
Luthor smiled back at the vice president. He said "Well Doctor...who will run the council while your gone?"
The Doctor looked at them all, and said "I will make that desicion before I leave.."

"Every group needs a mascot, does it not?"
I say telepathically to Shizuru

"Well, pardon me. I was under the impression that the purpose of this cabinet was to advise our dear leader, to give him our personal advice and opinions on matters as they approach. Correct me if I'm wrong."
I say, sarcasm drifting in my voice.

"Have a safe journey then Mr. President. As vice President I am sure I could step up and keep things running smoothly. " Shizuru set her tea down. "But we will respect your choise.." She also nodded to Lex in reply to his smile.

She heard Tat and sighed.

Iris paused for a minute, remembering that the good leader of the psionic division was just as capable of telepathic powers as any of the advent.

Captain Alyssa conveys her belief that the head of the Psionics division's suggestion is a good one. The unity buzzed. However, Captain Alyssa would also like to ask the good department head to cease listening in on the Coalescent's thoughts. The Unity is always open to any who wish to join us in collectivity but objects to the isolated who come and go as they please. the Captain of the Greater Nest spoke with a hint of distaste in her mental voice, her thoughts directed at Tat who would pick it up from Iris.

Captain Ylsa of the Avalon would like to suggest that the Coalescent refer to Leader of Planetary defence Hiro and address her concerns to him as a preliminary action.

Coalescent Iris approves. Iris communicated her approval. He is most close to the unity, and as such we would have detected any deception or treachery long ago. As well, he is highly trusted within the council of the isolated.

And with that, Iris actually turned to look at Hiro, wondering if she could managed to whisper a request for his attention for a brief moment even as Tat distracted the vice president with his rather rebellious talk.

"In case you forgot, as head of the psionic department and as powerful of one as I am, I don't have the ability to stop listening to the thoughts of others, but merely tune them out."
I reply to Captain Alyssa through Iris

The other council members often forget that I am only 19, and that I am a troll, a species know for being (a)absolute assholes, and (B) being absolute psychological wrecks, especially in their teenage years. So anyone outside of my species doesn't truly understand that I do nothing but irritate and provoke others, as is a general sign of affection in my culture.

Captain Alyssa was about to make another telepathic snarky comment to Tat when Iris interrupted her verbally, speaking to the council.

"Mr. President," she asked, "The Unity would like to ask if we, as one of the few peoples capable of interstellar and space exploration, would be asked to accompany you in your journey."

Some of the Unity had asked if the Doctor would need protection during his journey from any manner of threat, and also came to the realization that if he did they were one of the only ones who could provide that protection.

Alice walked down the moonlight(?) streets of Raxon, looking up and watching the blinking streetlights pass over her. Though it was just another regular day in this world, something always felt off; its just that she couldn't put a finger on it. On lonesome walks like these, there was always this nagging feeling that she was missing someone, that the people she knows were never actually there, that the life and memories she owns are all false...
She shakes her head, trying to stop thinking too hard. "I wonder why I keep having that thought.." One of her dolls floated in front of her, tilting its head. The puppeteer paused for a moment, then simply smiled lightly. "Don't worry about it, Shanghai. It's nothing."

~Hiro & Eric~
HIro grinned at The Doctors Plan, but before he could speak, he saw Iris looking at him pondering something. Hiro stands up and sits next to Iris since there were a few chairs empty. He then whispers to Iris, "I see you are pondering something? What is in you mind at the moment so I may plan my next set of diction carefully." Hiro had whispered to Iris. Meanwhile Eric caught onto a key factor in The Doctors speech, that he might need protection. Eric grins and sits up straight. "Excuse me Doctor, but would you mind if I could tag along with you? I could also provide some key protections or even some additional help if needed!" Eric said. If I can even get a glimpse of his coding... I may be able to all of us out... Eric thought to himself.

Natsuki Kuga sped along the streets of Raxon on her motocycle seemingly aimlessly. She had one goal in mind which was to somehow infiltrate the Council meeting but asking around the city about a Shadows of the Universe group got her no answers. She was a bit frustrated.

"Shizuru I will get you out of there.." She mumbled as she drove back to a hotel which she snuck into a room prior to looking for leads tho the trail had run cold..

The Doctor smirked at Tat. He was known for being Cynical Asshole, but so was he. "No Tat, Im worried that some asshole might and try and take over the universe. And as a TImelord its my job to protect space and Time." He looked at everyone and some suggested protection. "I wont need Protection> I have my TARDIS, and I have this." He held up the sonic screwdriver and used it to turn the hologram off, and on, make the doors open and close, and make the lights flicker.
"Yes Doctor, but I dont think that weapon can help you if your captured." He then said "We insist you take someone as a bodyguard."
The Doctor nods, and began thinking. Only one person came to mind. Paine. "I think I will pick Paine."
Luthor rose a eyebrow "Why her?"
"From what Ive seen she is the most skilled of the army.."
Luthor nods, and asked "Very well...Also Doctor....will you try and make a alliance with your planet..."
The Doctor froze, and shook his head. he coudlnt the Timelords were gone. "I cant...Im the last of them....." He Got up fixing his leather Jacket. "Shizuru will take temporary presidency while Im gone." Luthor looked over at Shizuru smirking.
The Doctor now said "What shall we discuss now?"

Shizuru was not surprised she would be chosen to take over as President. Smirking back at Luthor briefly she then smiled back at the Doctor. "I will make sure to run things smoothly. Doctor if I may suggest we should try to locate the traitors as soon as we can. I fear in your absence they could make move .."

Paine was currently training in the location of the army's base.

Donkey Kong smirked at Lex and smirked at Shizuru. All the smirking caused him to smirk some more. The Doctor's departure would be the perfect opportunity to pull some Bananagans Shenanigans. Donkey Kong hooted loudly for the appointing of Shizuru.
