Ryan comes from a rich family who pretty well disowns her, and they pay her to stay away from the house.

She is a very reserved person, and she really only opened up to James, who kept her secrets from everyone.

She fell in love with James because he became a light in her darkness. They shared a sort of secret relationship, but after a while it became not so secret, though they did deny it.

Always saw Hailey as a sister.

Has a younger brother who she never sees.

Joshua is an only child, coming from a set of divorced parents and lives with his father.

Isn't normally emotional, because he never really had friends before the group.

Used to get picked on for being scrawny, but filled out the summer between the freshmen and sophomore yers of high school.

Can graduate early if he wants.

Hailey Wilson

Though her parents didn't really want children and they were twins. Hailey always felt despite the fact they loved her, they preferred James over her.

Many people think Hailey is shy because she is quiet. Though in fact she is just introverted, she prefers to either be with her close friends or by herself, mostly herself.

Has had a crush on Joshua for years but knows he is far too smart to like someone like her.

At first didn't like Ryan, but she quickly grew to see her as a sister, and best friend. Because of this she had mixed feelings about the idea of Ryan and James being together at first.

Additionally

Blake’s father left him when he was eight, he learned to be tough to protect his mother and his little brother.

He would often drop plans with his family to go hang out with the group.

He has a problem keeping his thoughts to himself, and is often in fights because of it.

Blake was offered a spot on the football team in freshmen year, however his mother was to worried he would get hurt and wouldn't let him play.

Should we have had it be a pre existing condition that he died from or a car crash, and should it be at the funeral, or when they are all finding out.

Also, if we went with the medical condition, should it be at the hospital just before he dies?

Hmm well I think it should be a pre-existing condition in my mind, that maybe he never told anyone about. It could have been his own dark secret that he was sick. For that matter James parents might have even kept it from Hailey as well? Yeah I think that before he dies in the hospital would be a pretty good place to start because I figure that the whole group would come to the hospital to see him.
