We basically just line up our butts, zero in on a target, and start talking out of them nonstop, so loudly and hard, that our enemies cannot fight back. By the end of it, we're seen as being right, and our foes are but mush.

Oh, and as for the roleplay itself, would any of the current nations/groups have a location known to have some kind of leader or someone with direct contact with a leader, and is interested in weapons or services of some kind?

I don't know what to post, so the APIRCA approaching someone else would be good incentive.

I see APIRCA and the Oculi as natural allies. You can pick a continent to approach them on, as they have a representative on each one (one of whom being their secret leader). Picky any one as I already have the characters planned out. I actually really hope we get to a point where other countries are trying to guess who's the leader.

By the way. The Oculi won't get that meeting no matter what they do.

Aye
And APIRCA is obviously big with the smaller entities, from terrorist organizations to other private corporations or companies that think arming themselves is the best way to keep from getting brought down by someone else with guns. After all, it's post-war, after the most devastating war, so I can bet that there are probably large amounts of pirates and bandits and the like roaming the ungoverned countries right about now. Which also may buy from APIRCA.

APIRCA has enough influence on the people, by way of letting them defend themselves and get started up again, sometimes in return for giving portions of crops or something to them. After all, APIRCA has people to feed, and having contacts that owe them in food is a good way to keep the food coming.

Publicly trying to hunt down APIRCA could possibly mean that other people would not like you, and if the people don't like something, then the government is going to have to agree with them at some point or form, otherwise the public with start getting a bit antsy.

Or something like that.
APIRCA can have influence on people, as well as armed groups. Oculi has experience with rebellion and bringing down governments. A partnership surely seems beneficial; APIRCA supplies while Oculi takes care of those who are bugging or threatening APIRCA.

Really, there would just have to be a way for APIRCA to get wind of Oculi, say, getting low on ammunition, and having slow production, or needing better weapons to combat the newer models emerging in the rising nations, or even just software and hardware security.

APIRCA doesn't necessarily need to sell to the Oculi when they're low. They can just set up a trade relationship for whenever they need supplies.

So I can approach the 'Scandies' about some exclusive offers and maybe a special investment opportunity,
and approach the Oculi about a trade relationship.

Could you guys PM me your apps, so we can talk it all over so we can decide on agreements for contracts beforehand, and how the meetings will go down, or somesuch?

I'm still objecting to the Orkney and Shetland islands on the condition that no one there is more British and Scottish than now and general Statute of Limitations would have voided the dowry, or in a court of law they taking of them would have settled the debt and it's a non-issue. And it's odd the Balts would decide to join with the Swedes, unless it's a lesser-of-two-evil deals of them vs Russia.

my dog just got bitten by a rattlesnake, and I'm the only one out of 2 other brothers and my parents that was willing to stay with her, since we aren't going to take her to the vet.

She's just sitting their, panting really hard, obvious that it hurts from the way she holds her hind leg, and I can't do anything but try and comfort her. My brother just said that sleep was more important, and went off to go play a game.

And on the subject of APIRCA, Iran isn't very involved with the global war economy and Ali's liberal stances/California education mean that he doesn't want to get involved in privatizing the military. The military is wary of military companies as well, because at least the top staff has a wariness to give up independence and source it out to foreign companies - this brings back unpleasant memories of foreign intervention in the early 20th century. There's also the concern about warrior ethos and whatnot, among other things. This creates a baseline dislike of PMCs and other companies like them and a more regulated environment against them than in other countries. I think Aaron and I have planned something that will effectively be the nail in PMCs' coffins in Iran, and that comes soon.

Great, so now I have to not only fix up the population but hunt down and destroy an international arms trafficker called APIRCA too. I should have just stuck with the UK, at least then I'd just have to look after people who moan about immigration xD

They have nowhere else to go, and Finland is with Sweden for historic and pragmatic reasons.

Orkney will be returned to whoever wants it, but a Falkland style occupation will take Shetland.

The UK is still a significant military power and they'd be quick to move in. Their naval power may have decreased since World War 2, but they still got the big guns and the means to shell and over-take an occupying force, even with naval denial.
