The second that Raena had gotten inside and seated herselin the middle of the floor, she had felt the tiredness envelope her, and soon fallen asleep.

--[Im breaking off from playing Raena, Im absent enough as it is, and I think itll be ok if anyone NPC's her for a while]

Nayash smiled weakly at Veragwen as she helped her back into her chair (She was seated and sleeping in the previous post, Caelyn had the table.) and wrapped her in one of the spare blankets that had been found inside the small hut. She didn't say much, listening instead to the group, understanding both sides of the point. It was a welcome break for her mind to try to solve the more immediate issue rather than her whole existance. She was about to add her thoughts on the situation when Armond decided to humiliate himself, making Nayash feel uncomfortable. "Armond, there's no need for that.." She mumbled barely audiable, before giving the rest of the females a look, needing to talk to them later.

"Im willing to serve side by side with you, sir.., but we need to know more about these men you are chasing, what you know about the dragoons already. We have limited information... Some more than others.. " She looked down. "I might not be a good help... BUt i can tell you what I know of Illurath.." The sentences were long and it took its toll, her slurred words showing more and more. The injury was still hurting and she started wishing that Vera would just use the stone she'd used earlier the morning, as it eased the pain tremendously. "What do you know of Illurath? Is illurath the same as this Blitz youre talking about? Is that his true name, or is Illurath it?" She then asked, realizing that their words was most likely about the same person, and remembering the menitoning of a Blitz too.

Marmalade watched as Armond sank to the floor and begged for help. As opposed to him as she was, she couldnt help but admire his courage. She even felt a little bad for him. She shook her head. No. This was her mind being tired. She had to steel herself. Just because Caelyn asked her to be nice didn't... mean..

What was happening to her? Could one persons voice really affect her so much? She needed to sleep. Yes.. that was it. Sleep would fix everything. In the morning she would be back to hating this man. Yes, that would be-- mid thought is when Marmalade noticed the newest member of their group reaching for his weapon. Her mind instantly snapped into offense and she stood, grabbing her scythe.
"You plan to ambush us? Are your men outside waiting for us to--" she stopped herself halfway. She had no idea what the heck she was saying. It could be true though. She took a deep breath and whispered, "Just remember what you promised to Caelyn.."

Sitting again, Marmalade said a quick apology and looked around. Other than Nayash talking to Armond about Blitz, she didn't anymore reason to talk to him. She walked over to Caelyn, helping her up so they could move to the back for a chat. She looked at Veragwen and motioned with her head for her to join.

Veragwen watched Armond a moment before speaking, "Like I said I have no problem helping you. I have my own reasons for wanting to take Blitz down... The destruction of my home for one. And Nayash already has a bone to pick with him as well. Mara and Caelyn may need more convincing, though. And Jerus as well, I suppose if he wishes."

She watched Mara and Caelyn head towards the backroom and motion for her to come with them. Vera turned back to Armond, helped him to his feet, and gave him a bow, "Forgive us, Lord Armond. There are a few things we need to discuss. I will do my best to persuade them to help you. Excuse us for a moment." she gave him a pretty smile and headed towards the back after Mara and Caelyn. She thought a moment, then went back and grabbed her and Mara's packs. She also helped up Nayash, and brought her with her to the backroom.

She set Nayash down gently and closed the door. Vera spoke quietly, "This way we can do some....work." She pulled out the White-Silver stone and gave it to Mara to use with hers. Then looked at them all in turn, "Alright. What is it? What do you all think of Armond and helping him?"

As Armond got down on his hands and knees to ask for help with his search, I shook my head just barely. The man didn't need to beg, we were all good people in our own way. I went to answer him when I noted the mercenary reaching for his weapons at his hips. The hell you will. Subtly pulling my arm back, I intend to throw my dagger and skim his hair on the back of his head when Mara pulls her scythe. "You plan to ambush us? Are your men outside waiting for us to--" She stopped mid sentence and whispered something before she and the other women left the men and went into the back room. Sighing, I return to cleaning the rabbits we'd caught. To emphasize how bad of a position that the merc was in, I whistle to get his attention then tap my sword hilt on my back then tap the dagger blade with my finger.

"I'd reconsider, mate, and definitely not pull those weapons of yours. I'm more than capable of using mine as well." With that, I watch the backroom door close and return to grumbling under my breath. Of course they wouldn't include me in their secrets, again, not that I blamed them. I did, however, want to know what they were going to do about Armond and his entourage. I can always ask when they come out. Returning my focus to the rabbits, I set to cutting the meat into slices for jerky. It would last longer than other cuts.

Caelyn accepted Mara's help willingly. She went to the back of the cabin and spoke in a soft voice. "I don' no if we can be trustin' Armond yet or no. But if this man is as bad as they are sayin', I'll be needin' to healthy. Might we do some of the healin' and figure out our plans?"

Mara was way ahead of Caelyn and subtly pulling out the stones. She looked at Vera and back and Mara and added with a serious tone; "I think we should be givin' him a chance, he seems like he has laid out his whole hand. Plus I am knowin' our abilities as fighters. Jerus seems sincere too." She smiled warmly hoping to add to her assurance. She felt the breeze of the healing brush over her body and it totally relaxed her. She felt like she got to open her button on her pants after a full meal.

It was like Caelyn could read Marmalades mind.
"I dont trust Armond either, but if he tries to hurt us, I am sure we could take him." She looked at Veragwen and Nayash, they needed to be unanimous in this decision. "I have been thinking that we should tell Jerus. We can't ask someone to simply trust us with everything if we aren't also forward in our intentions." She looked down at the spirits she held and hoped that it was the right choice.
