"Right," I say as I feel my arm getting healed by some strange magic. Elena seemed really tired after healing me, but, after all of that, my arm was almost usable again... well, at the very least, it didn't hurt at all. Maybe time would allow the numbness to go away. Figuring that we wouldn't get attacked, and that something big was probably coming up, I sat down, and dug through my bag trying to find any food I might have brought along. Unfortunately, it seemed as if my bag was completely empty. I really hoped that the next place we went to had some sort of food. Either way, after a rest, it seemed as though we were as ready as we could be for whatever we would face next, and I got up, and say to my team "Well... this is about as ready as we'll get right now. We should move on before Carl gets any bright ideas involving that plate piece," I then head off, with Chance following me, grumbling about a lack of food and someone's empty head forgetting to pack any while he was home. I was certain that the rest of my team would follow me as well, but, I looked back just to make sure. After heading up the stairs, I find myself in a room with a giant, possibly steel, red door, and a strange glowing blue spot on the floor. "Well, if that's not ominous, then I don't know what is," Chance comments, looking at the door with a somewhat ticked off expression on his face. The blue spot looked a bit like some sort of save point, and the door looked as though it was a 'boss door', which only added to the possibility of us fighting some horribly strong monster once we get to the other side of that door.

"I think we should be far enough," I say to Ralph as I continue to dig. Of course, I didn't have an idea of the layout of this place, but, with any luck, I'd just pop up in front of their leader without warning any of the guards. I use my earth magic to create a hole above me, and a second time to propel me, and possibly Deravan out of the exact hole. Once outside, I note that the place seemed to be covered in white tiles, completely contrasting with what you'd expect, but, more importantly, there was a single, iron door in front of us, and the trio of new recruits right next to it, exhausted. Tyler, the zombie dragon then spoke up, saying "We weakened him... erm, the one that's beyond the door, but he's just too tough for us," Dylan then asks "By the way, have any of you noticed a lack of guards patrolling the area?" That was odd... I've encountered a few, but apparently, these guys haven't even seen a single one... why would that be? Why would the guards stop patrolling their own base? I shook that thought for a moment, and decided that I'd deal with that later. "So, there's someone tough past this door... I'm guessing he's their leader. Let's go in, and finish him off," I then say to my group, waiting for their response before I open the door. If they weren't ready to fight someone like this, I'd understand, but, without guards, this seemed like a good time to attack someone this strong. Even if he wasn't their leader, us being able to get rid of their strongest member would definitely bring down their morale.
