[OOC] Dragon's Awakening (Page 19)

Ok.. well... I wanted to make another caracter... try to see how it will go... here we are

Name: Deravan Letendre
Gender: Male
Species: Animelious ((was thinking umbrins… but eh…))
Age:24
Appearance:Deravan looks like a rather large black panther with light green eyes, a slightly gray striped body with a light brown coloring on the back. He is able to walk on 2 feet’s, having larger legs and a smaller body, and having digi-graded feets. His front paws have larger claws as well as longer fingers, making him able to grab things. He also has a half broken necklace on his neck.
Bio:
Where to begin… Deravan lived with his mother and father, who took care of him for a long time. As a young child though, his parents saw that Deravan was a rather curious but overactive child. He had a lot of energy in reserve. This made the task for his parents rather hard. After some time though, Deravan started to calm down a bit, so his parents decided to go and have another child… but this time, scared of what would happen again, they decided to try adoption.

This is when Elena entered their life. She was a rather calm child who was only a couple of month old at the time. Deravan’s parents were happy about taking care of her, but Deravan deep down felt certain… emptiness. His parents still took care of him, but he felt as if he no longer had the same attention as before…. Jealousy we could say.

So when school started, in the first year, his parents were called 3 times. The first time was that he got into a fight with another kid that supposedly stole his food. Second time was him pulling on a girl’s hair. She had insulted him so he reacted. The third time was him getting punched in the face by the same kid as at the first time. Deravan was yelled at a lot for all this, even if he was most of the time not the one that started it.

Over the other years, things started to calm down until later on, when he was just starting his teenage years. Feeling as if he had been abandoned by his parents, Deravan had not too much attention at school, having his teachers call his parents a lot of times. He still passed his school year with a slightly less than average grade, but his teachers would always say that he could be better if he would listen. His parents, who only wanting him to be better, kept trying to push him further. But he did not care, feeling as if something in his life was missing….

At the age of 16, he met a group of people that in school would be considered the gang that you do not want to mess with…. At least that what they say after they had beaten up a kid that supposedly was innocent… but Deravan learned later on that the kid actually stole money from the leader of the gang. Those people did not care too much about things, having their parents leave them for granted. They were the type of gang that were outcasts… Deravan though felt himself as an outcast, so after many weeks, he had gained a position amount that gang. His sister though was worrying about him. He knew she would try and change him mind about this, but he did not care. It was not hatred towards her that he had. She actually treated him nicely, even if she was annoying sometimes. No… it was towards his parents. They had left him only because he had more trouble in school cause of slight anger problems that he had worked on, learning to craft some trinkets to calm down.
So years passed, his gang actually being the type of people to explore caves that others say were hunted, scaring the living hell out of curious people, doing pranks around. At least… that was the first 2 years until they started to get bored of this and only exploring, trying to find hidden things and nice views, wanting to see the world more.. During that time Deravan learned to make special trinkets more and more. It was a passion we could say
Then at the age of 19, his friends bought a RV, and asked him to fallow them. He told them that he still had his sister that he did not want to leave behind… but they told him that she would be alright… that her parents would take care of her even if they did not take care of him. This convinced him. He had enough of his parents yelling at him anyway. His dad sometimes also had beaten him up… Enough was enough… so he left and decided to explore the world. They moved from place to place, exploring the country, seeing new sights, and living off trinkets that they would make. They knew that might get money trouble, so they decided to start making colorful souvenirs all around, using things they would find during exploration.

But deep down, Deravan missed his sister… but knew that he could not go back… So he looked back at a old trinket he had made… one from long ago… one that he was proud of and showed his sister. It was a moon like trinket with details on it, craters and such. Back then he had a taste for going and learning to be a astronaut… but ended up giving up after all the problems with his parents. He broke the necklace in half. His friends saw what he was doing, and asked him why he was doing that. He responded that he wanted to see his sister one day… after having seen everything in the country. He was able to post the half of the necklace back to her, hoping that someday they would meet again…

Then… after a couple of years, a large comet was coming to earth. After it was destroyed, Deravan started to change… taking the form more of a panther, and his friends took different forms… a dragon, a creature that seemed to be able to take control of a object… a gryphon. All creatures of mythology. At first they were surprise and happy about their form… until the fighting started…. Deravan was split up from his group after having to escape from a huge angry group of creatures. He did not know what to do now… A wanderer… in a world turned into madness… He had discovered powers over earth and darkness, as well as slightly on nature, but he knew that even after that, he would have trouble to survive.

So he wandered, trying to find his friends, not knowing what life would reserve for him now.

Powers: He has powers over darkness and earth. He also has slight nature powers.
Weaknesses: He is rather weak for fire… not use to too much heat. Also piercing weapons would hurt him more if he does not have stones to protect himself.
