"Suzaku, I choose you!" Shiranui sent out the legendary Moltres. Everyone in the audience who had a Pokédex scanned Shiranui's battler. "Suzaku, get ready!" The Moltres started glowing as it collected the light from the sun.

"Moltres, the Flame Pokemon. It is said to be the legendary bird Pokémon of fire. Every flap of its wings creates a dazzling flare of flames. It is said that its appearance indicates the coming of spring."

"So, you caught Moltres huh?" Liam inquired. "Water Pulse!"

The Water Pulse hit. "Solar Beam! Fire!" Suzaku opened its beak and fired a beam of sunlight bright enough to mimic the sun itself.

Hydro took the hit. Torrent was active and Hydro was barely holding on. "Hydro Cannon!"

"Sunny Day!" Suzaku made the sun shine brighter just before getting blasted with a weakened blast of water that left the Moltres as exhausted as Hydro.

Suzaku now got a free attack, as Hydro had to recharge.

"Suzaku, finish it off with Hurricane!" The Moltres flew around Hydro faster and faster, generating a cyclonic wind around the Blastoise.

Hydro was KO'd and Sylveon was sent back out. "Draining Kiss!"

"Fire Blast!" Suzaku blew out a white hot flame that coalesced into a 大 shape as it headed towards Sylveon—powered up by the intensified sun—before receiving a kiss that was not very effective, but enough to knock the legendary bird out.

Sylveon sustained heavy damage from the attack. She was holding on, but just barely.

"Suzaku, return; Tetsu, I choose you!" Shiranui switched the downed Moltres for his Aggron.

"Tetsu, Iron Tail!" Sylveon let off a bright flash that was not very effective, spurring the Aggron into charging at the Eevee evolution with his tail glowing.

Sylveon was KO'd by the attack. Liam tossed a ball into the air after recalling Sylveon. The opened in the air and Mew emerged. The stadium became silent at the sight of the thought-to-be extinct Pokemon.

"Brace yourself, Tetsu, Mew is capable of anything," Shiranui warned, "Start with Toxic!"

"Safegaurd!" Liam called. a veil protected the Pokemon from the toxic sludge.

"Tetsu, Roar!" The Aggron let out the same roar that scared Sylveon, intending to scare Mew into a switch-out. Shiranui had a hunch about Liam's sixth Pokémon.

Mew was forced back and replaced with Articuno, who was scanned by many pokedexes in the stadium. "Ice Shard!"

"Tetsu, Iron Tail!" Articuno launched an icicle at Tetsu, which bounced off his metallic carapace for minor damage. The Aggron charged at Articuno with his tail glowing.
