Ryuu Yamauchi
The otaku found himself flying toward the wall, slamming against it with a humorous mix of confusion and pain.
"WNEIFLNAJKSDFWAF?!!?!?"
Sh- Holy sh--! Ryuu thought in surprise, his open mouth silently screaming its way down to bite the dirt. This woman's damn strong! No wonder she's a frickin' teacher!
The sunglasses-wearing student landed with his elbows straightened, preventing him from falling like a total idiot. He did have to pluck his face off of the ground, however. Getting thrown to a wall by his wrist was technically not such a rare sight in his frighteningly crazy household, but it had been such a long time since he actually met someone so much stronger than him in terms of physical strength. This woman... could, perhaps, mold him to the point where he could actually survive in this freaky school! After all, if he had one thing he was confident in, it would be-
...
...
...
...What was it again? Oh yeah, he just got his a-s kicked to a gigantic monster on his first day in Athalia. Physically. So much for confidence.
...But damn, that hurts.
Ryuu saw Annie walk up to him as she lectured him,
"Strength is nothing if you don't know how to use it. While using gravity to your advantage is good, it also leaves you vulnerable to more combat knowledgeable enemies. I'm not some street punk; I won't go down by strength alone."
...On another note, I haven't really thought about that, Ryuu said with a barely enlightened look on his face. I better stop jumping around like I'm some mock-up ninja or something...
She then pulled the otaku up by his wrist. Somewhat startled by the abrupt action, he raised an eyebrow as he heard Annie growling at him,
"Most fighting is a fight of wits. Who can out smart who. Strength is just the foundation on which you stand."
"..."
Ryuu gulped, feeling Annie's grip slowly loosen. Only when she smiled did he nod. So not only was this person intimidating, but she knew a lot more about fighting than he did. Better than him, for sure.
"Now. Try again," she said, catching the sunglasses-wearing student's attention once more. "What sort of move could you use to affect me? Surprise me."
Surprise...? Ryuu thought as time froze.
Wait... oh sh-t. Surprise moves? Without my plasma powers? Oh... Oh CRAP! All this time, I focused on using my plasma powers for that stuff! Why on Earth did I do that if I can't beat someone in a fist fight!? I mean, sure, she's crazy strongBUTSTILLTHATWASSTUPIDOFME HNGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Er... um...
F--K IT! I'm gonna do this... without getting murdered... hopefully...
The otaku put on his stance again, though this time, he kept in mind that an airborne attack would practically allow her to pwn him again. After thinking of a move that could surprise her without using his powers, Ryuu finally thought of one. It was an idea he just came up with, though he did not know if his own body was capable of being flexible enough to perform it.
Ryuu dashed forward with one step before leaping a small height at his second step. Instead of using his falling power to empower a haymaker, however, the otaku did a quick spin, faking a haymaker rather crudely, before building up the momentum of his spin once he reached the ground. As he spun around one more time, he attempted to perform a leg sweep to catch Annie off-guard, though he personally had no idea if this particular move would even work.
He felt his back make a weird noise, but he immediately decided to ignore it due to his fear of finding out just what the sound meant.
