The Paradise Dreamwork

Legend claims that a human soul was reforged by universal elements of plasma itself. Born from the cores of stars, the kindling fire that boils his motivation, and whole storms of ravenous lightning, he is a swordsman whose legacy stands with just causes.

They call him "Hyperion."

Hyperion is a plasma swordsman known to look and be fearsome in nearly every aspect. Many call his goal of delivering justice in an endless amount of situations a mere cliche; he believes that setting an impossible goal strengthens his resolve. Holding a past that directly influences his fighting style, Hyperion's fighting techniques are all named after his deceased comrades. He currently resides within the spirit of a particularly young and mean, yet conflicted soul: Ryuu Yamauchi.

Hyperion is Ryuu's so-called "Paradise Dreamwork," and only appears when Ryuu snaps, or when he loses consciousness. The legend is the reason as to how Ryuu could tame his volatile and fragile power. He looks exactly the same as his host's physical appearance, though he does have notable differences such as his hair, the armor he is equipped with, and the colorless blade he wields. Unlike Ryuu, Hyperion speaks an alien language, and is rather dark when it comes to explaining the meanings behind his own actions. He is technically one with Ryuu himself, though he rarely ever tries to interfere with his host's life.

As of now, Hyperion has slowly become dormant, letting Ryuu's own rage begin to manage the man's own powers. This seems to influence how Paradise Dreamwork works in a particularly negative light...

I actually knew what the spirit looked like, but I forgot to upload his actual appearance. He's not an actual character, but more of a part of Ryuu that has not been revealed yet. I'm looking forward to using this "part" later (if I ever do lol).

I'm super interested in using that "part" as well. While Hyperion is a relatively serious character unlike Ryuu himself, he is severely influenced by what Ryuu does.

In other words, he'll still be interested about "Oppaiville" and nosebleed out of... somewhere from his mask. In other words, he still does feel a bit like Ryuu, which is why I'm not afraid to let him pop up for a while when the time calls for it.

I bet it his mask would just explode for a split second to release the blood before retaining its original shape again (lol).

It's pretty complicated since one personality is living with another, but it definitely prevents Ryuu from being a linear character if he ever would become one.

Basically, linear characters are known to have one kind of personality that never really changes. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but Ryuu's not supposed to be all jokes and games. That's practically the reason why I decided that he should have a very notable, yet complex persona for the sake of keeping his own uniqueness instead of remaining as the one dude who generates memes hilarious moments in any given situation.

In other words, I just want to see different variations of "Oppaiville" reactions from him.

Oh yeah, I need to update Hyperion's description now that I think about it. If Hyperion is manually called upon, it's basically the thing Carmen fought before. The one I posted here is basically what that thing looks like when it passively appears.

I think this should be Apophis' theme, actually, considering how Apophis is not all about being crude (he likes "beautiful" stuff as seen in Season 1 of Athalia Academy).
