According to the map, it depends. My character was being chased by a bear. A monstrous bear, to be a little more accurate.

Just think of animals or plants or whatever, that could exist on this world or already do, then add a slight bit of fantasy

- Fruit that makes you fall asleep when you eat it, after which the cute birdlike things that were singing in its branches come down and slowly bite you to death so the tree can use your body as compost (except that a nearby berry bush has berries that keep you awake, so if you ate those you are fine)
- Sabertoothed black panthers that can camouflage so well in the dark that nobody can see them.
- Crocodiles who can climb trees
- Birds who hypnotize you with their songs
- Incredibly soft trees with sappy fruit (they are soft like that because the creatures that sleep against them will defend the tree from some mean herbivore) (I dont know be creative)

There should be some sort of form for plants and animals we would like to appear regularly

Name: Blue pineapple tree
type: Plant
Description: It is a short, stubby tree that is quite wide, with its trunk about 10 feet in diameter. The tree rises to 8-15 feet, with low hanging branches, weighed down by large, blue fruit, resembling pineapple, without the leaves, and not as rough on the exterior. inside the fruit is grey-blue flesh and a pocket, that stores water mixed with sap from the tree, and other secretions created by the fruit, to create what tastes like sports drink (Gatorade, Powerade, etc.) The tough outer skin of the fruit cannot be ripped open, and must be cut open, rather then with blunt force ,which would ruin the flesh and juice inside, to the extent of the liquid becoming mostly a toxin, which is due to the inner hide of the fruit (which is deadly to humans) getting mixed into the liquid. The toxin is safe in small amounts, but if the dose were large enough (say ingesting 1/15 of the toxin that a fruit holds, which is possible if you blunt force the fruit open) you would die in a matter of minutes from organ failure.
Locations on the island: most areas on the edge of the forest, by the beaches.

You are free to do that, but keep in mind that the most interesting plants/animals will be location bound
And I like the idea of many things being two sided, with everything being dangerous if used wrong, but potentially very useful if used right.

Personality: Quiet, quiet would be the best term to describe Sergio besides the word cold. Sergio is not what you would call the life of the party, nor does he really want to be. Sergio is a loner by nature, and he does not easily make connections with others. He chooses to be alone because he believes that he is incapable of really having or keeping friends. On the outside he is like a rock, he hardly shows his emotions and is very calm in intense situations. On the inside however he has a nice side, but he rarely shows it to anyone for he is afraid to let that side of himself be seen. Sarcastic by nature every word he might say is usually sarcastic with a hint of humor in it. He does not care much for know it alls, and despises those who act ignorant or fail to grasp reality. He does not believe in dream worlds where everything is always ok, and he ridicules anyone who does. However these personality quirks Sergio is a rough yet gentle person who does care even if he does not show it often, and is a great friend to anyone who can break through his rocky outer shell. He is extremely loyal to those he cares about, and would protect them with his life if it came down to it, he has no fear of dieing and he does not fear pain either.
History: Since he was born Sergio's life was what you might call less then perfect, born to an abusive father, and a drug abusing mother his childhood was a living hell in some ways. From the moment he could walk Sergio was often out on the streets of his crappy town, more often then not he was stealing food and other things he needed to live on from the stores around him. Sergio rarely found himself at home and when he did his father would often beat him with a leather belt for no reason other then he could. When Sergio was fifteen he grew tired of his shitty life and decided to leave his family for other horizons, late at night he hitched a ride on a train out of town and that was the end of his story in his town, and his new story began where the train stopped. Sergio after leaving home found himself in a small town somewhere in Georgia, life there was simple and very much unlike the place he lived before. Soon enough Sergio found himself going to an institution for troubled kids because of his constant stealing from the local stores.
Sergio stayed in this institution for almost three years before he was able to gain his freedom from it. After he left the institute at the age of Eighteen Sergio left the small town in Georgia and head north, often he would stop in local towns and steal the things he needed and moved on. He was very much a nomad and more often then not had to fight for the things he had and the things he wanted. Sometime when Sergio was twenty three he went to sleep one night and the next day when he woke up he found himself in a mysterious forest and had no recollection on how he got there. It didn't take long for Sergio to realize that the place he woke up in was dangerous and for the first year he spent there he nearly died on several occasions. However dangerous this place was Sergio found himself after awhile not caring that he was there anymore. He found that in this place he was almost like a King and could do whatever he pleased.
