When this website came back up after its period of downtime, I tried to start an RPG about Ancient Rome, but I committed the cardinal RPG sin of not having a plot in mind. Now that I have a good idea of what I want to do, I am willing to try again.

How about an RPG where the players would play as either Romans, Celts, Greeks, Parthians or whatever you can think of. In the heart of the Roman Republic, the players would get dragged into a conspiracy that will drag the Roman world into civil war.
