Blood, smoke, and the sounds of heavy caliber gunfire roared above Schal as he crawl his way in the mud of battlefield. He climbed over a dead corps that was once an Irodien commissar, suddenly a artillery shell impacted the ground in-front of him making everything go black. Schal woke up with a start covered in a cold sweat panting, he looked around at were he was. He found himself sitting on a bed made of straw with a window across from him were the lights of the early morning shone through. Schal looked for were his team was and spotted them on beds near by him. The door to the room was open and a old human male carrying a bowel step inside he notice Schal was awake "Oh your awake," he said placing the bowel on a small table on the left of Schal's bed. "Is my team alright?" "Yes they are, your luckily I found them when I did. I believe the rest of them will wake up soon," the old man said sitting down in one of the chairs. Schal said nothing and waited for the rest of his team to wake up.

In the ocean, harmony surrounded her. Air bubbles rising to the surface. Calm, it was, seeing the fish swim by. Smiling as she sat down on a boulder. Frowning once again, swimming in absence, living in absence....it was lonely, peaceful, harmony, seemingly something missing. Sighing as she swam up seeing the surface, seeing the trees refracting from the water, seeing as the trees, seemingly waved underwater. Nodding she would swim up...towards the surface. Breathing intenesly as she reached the top, feeling that water splash against her neck and hair. She turned around looking aimlessly around the surface, ony seeing the lush green grass and the tall red-oak trees. She bobbed her head as she..began to swim towards the land. Moments later she reached the land her arms resting upon the grass.

Silvack could smell his prey, the creature had been alluding him for days but he was finally closing in. The creature had a unique physiology which allowed it to blend with its surroundings by bending the light around its scales. The creature was hexapedal and highly venomous, a single scratch could induce paralysis and a bite from it would cause its victim to go into cardiac arrest due to a loss of cohesion in the central nervous system, the second effect was that it liquefied the internal organs of its prey. Silvack slowed from his run to a slow trot checking the bio scanner on his Tetryon rifle. It was close, suddenly a rustle in the bushes to his right made him turn. How was this possible? The creature should have been in front but now it had circled around behind him? Without warning something sunk claws into the weak spot between his helmet and the armor where it was only mesh. Salvick tumbled backward as poison coursed through his system, his immune system fought back but it was not enough. He couldn't move the beast closed on him and in a snarl it snapped it's jaws closed on his throat. Wait? That wasn't how it had happened. He had ran the creature to ground and killed it with his sword.

Silvack jerked from the straw bed with a growl jerking to look left and right taking in the room Schal and an older humanoid from it's scent. Unconsciously he rubbed at his throat. "Alpha, What happened? Where are we?" Silvack slid his legs out of the bed sitting up and rolling his right shoulder to test for injuries.

Assallya Kressair walked across the small room that held the survivors of the crash carrying a bowl. She still wasn't exactly sure what it was that she had witnessed. It had been like the stories of old, a flaming chariot of the gods streaking across the sky. She had never seen the like. Setting herself down next to one of the goblinoid creatures and gently padded at his wounds with a damp cloth. None of the beings was seriously injured, mostly minor abrasions but infection was always a danger.

She was as beautiful as they came, with long slender graceful limbs despite a diminutive figure. Long lustrous golden tresses tumbled over small rounded shoulders. As she gently treated her charges she casually tucked a stray lock of gold behind one delicate tapered ear. She was attired in loose silken sleeves and pantaloons, her midriff bared and an onyx gem tucked into her belly button. Long slender fingers, the nails painted a glossy black, speckled in silver, twisted at the cloth and squeezed the mixture of alcohol and water back into the bowl and patted again at another superficial wound.

"Rest easy brave warrior," the elven woman said, blue eyes sparkling, "You will recover swiftly. Of this I am sure"

Sighed as she sunk back, underwater, lonely as ever. She began to swim towards human cities or villages that are near. Smiling, thoughts going through her mind, " This will be fine " she said, certain, to certain. She swam fast, not to fast. Moments later she had reached one of the near civilizations. She looked around for a flat piece of land or atleast a small slope. Looking around for a few minutes..she found a flat piece. Bobbing her head she swam towards it, getting onto the flat surface of the land. Her hands gripping onto the soft sand as she, seemingly crawled until her whole body..was out of the water. She sat there for a moment, staring at the wonderous view. She sighed, " Evereth Kreotpain Fiezlen " She said lightly, faint, soft, and calming. A spark appeared above her it sunk down as it began to split into pieces of gleaming shards. The shards touched, laying against the her tail as it gleamed the light coating over her tail, moments later..trails of light began to spin around her. She stood up as the trails of light began to cover her body..moments later the light faded away as she stood there, feeling the slight breeze, feeling the odd feeling of her legs as she moves around. She wore a white dress..as she transformed into a human. Shells and various matierals from the ocean hung together as they held up her hair. Smiling she would turn walking in the direction towards the small village.

Home. So far away yet Damien is there. He is walking on a dusty road on the surface of Teratonia. Ahead of him is a house which Damien knew all too well for this metal structure was his home. Two tiny Teratons ran out the front door to Damien.
"Daddy, daddy, daddy!" They yelled,
"Tika, Lilliac" He exclaimed as the children ran into his arms. He expected the warm hug of his children, he expected to look up and see his beautiful Teratonian wife at the door. But that was not what he got. The children ran through his arms like ghosts. Damien turned around to see them disappear. No where to be seen. He turned back to the house, now crumbling and burning as war brought it's fiery wrath to the planet

Damien grunted as he rolled of his straw made bed, making a loud thud as his large body hit the ground.
"Ow..." he grumbled, face down into the wooden floor. He looked up to see two of his comrades in beds similar to the one he rolled out of. He also noticed two other lifeforms. One a withered, old human male it looked like, the other a slender human woman until he looked up to see her pointy ears. "Where the klut are we?" He asked to no one in particular, oblivious to the fact the questioned has already been asked.

Flashback to the War on Titan-06394, young Ruric and his sister are fleeing from their home-world. In their house, young Ruric and Monika say goodbye to their mother:

"Mama, I don't want to leave." Young Ruric cries, gunfire in the background, vibrations filling the air, hurting young Ruric's ears.
"It'll be okay Ruric, I promise, you'll see your mama and papa once again." his mother cried, knowing the truth. "Ruric, Monika, I need you two to be strong now; like our soldiers have been. You two will be the last of the Titan humanoids, don't reveal that information to anyone, for if our enemies get wind of that, it could endanger your lives. Now, promise me, that despite the circumstances of today, you will stay away from the battlefields of tomorrow. I don't want your present to effect your future."
"Mom, I want to say goodbye to father." Monika requested, having always been a daddy's girl. This caused their mother to choke on tears, she quickly moved to the cupboard, and pulled from it two letters, from the kids' father.
"He wanted you two to have these, his final words to you." She cried, handing them the letters. "Now please, we need to hurry you out of here, before they find you." She exclaimed, as she shuffled the two children, down into the basement. She then hurried them into two escape pods, the rebellion had rewarded their family, with the sacrifice of the father. Two Soldiers kicked open the upstairs door, yelling a foriegn language ["Where are they?! We cannot allow them to escape!"]
"Oh no! They're here. I need to get you gone. I love you Ruric, and you Monika." She cried, activating their launch. Through the muffled glass of the rockets, Ruric cried to his mother, "Mommy! I love you! Don't leave us!" As the rockets began lifting off, they heard the soldiers storm the basement, and murder their mother. Her scream filled the desolate sky.
Ruric moved fast, Honest and Deceit danced as their fireworks filled the battlefield, shedding the blood of the enemy. A smile on Ruric's face knowing he was with his friends as they led victory. But soon, he started to see less, and less of the Iron Talon. His comrades had fallen, panic grew on his face when he had seen Monika fall to the ground, just ahead of him. He hurried to her aid, the thought of their mother dying flooded his brain, clouding his vision. He heard one of the enemy thugs laugh, "So, through a 'storm of glass' the Steel Wolf is weak, giving us enough time to corner it, and take it out." he said, cracking Ruric in the back of his head with the butt of the gun. The last thing Ruric saw was his sister's face, and the bullet wound in her shoulder. He blacked out as the thug unleashed bullets into his lower back.

The sound of others in the background woke him up, it seemed like he'd been out for days, and the first thing he saw was his sister sitting by his bed. He looked around, and saw that some of the others were up and awake from the previous battle as well. A smile grew on his face, "Monika, I'm so happy you're alive. What happened? Where are we?" He asked.
"I'm still awaiting for more details brother, but I'll inform you on what I know so far. I remember falling after getting hit in the shoulder, collapsing due to being winded, then waking up here. Alpha was already awake before me, and so was the Hirogen and the Teraton. The magical human or 'Wizard' has apparently been nursing us back to full health, with the help from the Female Elf." She replied, with a small smile. Ruric smiled, and then attempted to lift himself, only falling back on the bed, pain filled his body.
"You probably should give yourself time brother, after all, you did just awaken." She commented.

Rowan Zephyr

Rowan's eyes drifted open. He was not lying on anything tough, nor was he in any sort of debris. He remembers crashing. The mission had gone wrong. This upset him. He heard voices nearby, but he couldn't make out who was who, or what was said. He was still waking up. The voices began to clear soon enough. Some were familiar, others foreign. Some were recognizable. His leader was among the voices.

Rowan struggled, but he managed to lift himself into a seated position on the bed he was on. His sight confirmed the voices he recognized indeed belonged to others from the team. The ones he did not recognize belonged to an old man and a person whose species was unknown to him. The rest of the team were still unconscious. This was understandable, given what had just happened, but Rowan realized tha he was missing some of his belongings.

"Where is my gear?

Ruric looked at Rowan, as Ruric patched up anything the Wizard had overlooked. Injecting a serum into his lower stomach, which he pulled from his emergency toolbox, increasing the cellular structure. Then he focused on Monika once more, looking at her shoulder which looked patched up completely. "How is your shoulder?" He asked.
"Quite fine actually. Apparently I was one of the lucky ones, even when considering your wounds." She replied.
"That's good. What's with Rowan?" Ruric asked, having not heard Rowan.
"He doesn't know where his gear is. I found ours in another room, probably where his is. I have our weapons, but I found them empty, probably a safety measure." She replied.

Smiled once more, looking around..one more time, 'This is it' she said in her mind as she walked forward, feeling the hot-sand press against my cold feet. After she got off the beach she saw a path, seemingly man-made she would begin to follow it. Roaming around aimlessly with nothing to do she still was cautious of her surroundings. Bobbing her head as she walked, waving her hands and humming a song from the surface, " Split the ice from its frozen core. " she said aloudly as know one was around her. She walked for hours until she finally reached a village. Sighing, raising her hand as she wiped the sweat off her forehead. Everyone around her seemed to stare at her as she walked by, whiserping and some even running away. She didn't know what they were doing..but it oddly seemed fascinating.Though as she looked at there faces seeing the fear in there eyes, only to frown she would quickly run into some random direction of the small village. She stopped running and looked around once more, know one seemed to be around, letting out a large sigh she would sit down on the lushes grass. Smiling, calm, again hearing the voices of humans near

" What in the heavens name is this damned wench doing here " a man said with anger in his tone. Melody only covered her eyes like a hopeless child, afraid of those who were near here. Her back touching the back of some tree that was near . Hearing echoes in her head, ' why '. Seemingly why is the question...why did he make me? why did he had to make me into some kind of monster....questions flowed through her mind a she doubted herself over and over...

"All that strange stuff is under your beds," Dratcen replied to Rowan, Schal reach under his bed and got his imperial saber out. "Thank you for helping my team," the wizard grin "it was no problem I can assure you. Were are my manners my name is Dratcen, can I get your names?" Schal checked over his saber "the name is Yorgon Schal," the Sanfures reached over to the bowl on the night stand next to him and drunk from it. Schal spit out the contents of the bowl on to the floor "hahah, that was for cleaning your self's with."

Silvack detached the Bio scanner from his body armour and engaged the scanner running a self scan. "Minor contusions, minor fractures, healing concussion, no major internal damage." With that he snapped the scanner closed and ran a system diagnostic on the body armour as it administered additional stimulants and cell reconstruction agents. "Now that we are all mostly conscious, where the hell are we and what the hell happened?" Standing Silvack tested his limbs and joints before picking up his hanger sword snapped it's sheath into the armour over his right shoulder and picked up the rifle checking its scanner and its power source. Before lifting his helm and sliding it over his head.

Rowan Zephyr

Rowan got off of the bed he was in, grunting as the lingering pain spiked as a result of his movements. He checked under the bed. Sure enough his own gear was there. His gun, his knife, everything was there. Some ammo clips were missing, but that was to be expected. He sat back down on the bed, trying to wait out the lingering pain. He heard Silvack ask what had happened.

"It would also help if we knew where we are."added Rowan.

Everything had gone so suddenly that he had no idea what planet they were on.
Bryce Achar

A contract is a contract. A job is a job. If a profit is to be made, then make it.

Those are the words that always ring through Bryce's mind whenever he is hired to do something. He was a sell-sword, a warrior to be hired to kill. And he was hired to kill once again. The price was quite high for an old man, but it seems that he is a wizard. Wizards are not to be taken lightly.

The clacking of his metal boots could be heard amongst a quiet crowd, but they can definitely be heard here, in this small village. He looked around to find that some were worried. Their fear was not directed towards him, but to another. He walked over to the source of their curiously and fear. It was woman. She leaned against a tree.

"Is there something wrong?" Asked Bryce. "You seem to be the center of attention at the moment. They look at you as if seeing a new or dangerous creature. Have you done anything to deserve such attention?"

Silvack sniffed "given the primitive state of our accomadations and the garb of the elder individual I'd be willing to say we are a little further from advanced society than usual." With that Silvack turned to the window and observed the relatively low height of the sun "I'd also be curious to know exactly how long we were out and where is our ship. Or at the very least where the wreckage is. Perhaps that will be of use getting us off this planet as I doubt these individuals are space fairing" With that Silvack turned back from the window and rechecked his rifle making sure it was still holding its charge.

Assallya peered over at the scaly figure of Silvack staring out the glassless window through the wooden shutters and thanked the arcane arts for the spells that allowed the outer planar guests to both speak and understand their own tongue. However, his utter callousness and not just towards their rescuers but concerning his people aboard the ship that bothered her. There were many more, many without armour like those worn by those here that littered the wreckage, their bodies pulverized, twisted and mangled in ways that made Assallya shudder to remember them.

"You are quite welcome for our saving your lives lizard man," the voluptuous elven woman answered the Hirogen warrior's derogatory commentary, "We are quiet pleased and honoured to serve as your hosts in our primitive hovel. Your sky bird, the vessel in which you travelled is a twisted wreck. Many of your companions did not survive and you have our sympathies. We brought all of you we could save here."

"Some of your people here may not awaken for weeks yet," she added, "for they are in a magical slumber to speed healing and quiet their pain."

Sniffling, her arms covering her head, her eyes closed blocking out the light that is near. Tears flow down her face dripping onto the grass as she could hear the sound of humans 'whispers'. Maybe the stories are true? Asking herself only made her more scared, hearing the clack. Not a normal clack you hear everyday, like a warrior...coming foward to take the sword! Though she could still here the whispers of men and woman. Her focus returned as she shivered in fear, hearing the humans voice she stood up backing away from the man. Gulping she planned to run in some sort of random direction, taking to long she would trip and fall into a pack of bushes that was near the trees. She stood up once more..standing and running away only for a few moments her human legs weren't as strong as her mermaid tail, breathing intensely she only ran 7ft, though as she ran she could hear the voices again, " The DAMNED BITCH IS GONE! " They cheered only hearing the mens voice and the women clapping.

Rowan Zephyr

The woman that accompanied the old man spoke in reply to Silvack. She seemed annoyed, which was understandable, given the fact that Silvack just insulted their home planet with his description of the area.

"Firstly" said Rowan. "Silvack, I meant what planet this place is."

Rowan turned to face the woman.

"So the others are either dead or comatose, or whatever you meant by 'magical slumber'? This is problematic...I suppose we still should thank you and your elderly friend."
Bryce Achar

Bryce watched as the woman ran away. Not even even a few moments passed before the villagers started cheering. Some people called her a "damned bitch." Why do they see her as such? What was her misdeed? She was alone, and they simply stood there, whispering their hatred to each other.

"A village of idiots and cowards." He muttered to himself.

Bryce headed in the direction the woman ran in, seeking to calm and question her. He had a job to do, but with only a drawing of his target, there was not much to go on. He had obtained information that he had been seen somewhere heading in the direction he was going before. He can still ask the villagers another time. Maybe the woman might know something as well, though it is unlikely.

Bryce saw her in the distance...

Looked around for the ocean her head turning to the right hearing the waves, strong waves, enough to protect her body from these damned humans. History..why? Sirens called many men for there seducing songs, slaughtered them and killed them into pieces. The stories made her disgusted as she wanted to try and help..but it seemed as if it was getting worser. She could still hearing the cheerings and clappings from the village, running towards the ocean as she as she could. Once she reached the beach she turned seeing the man, calming as she stood straight waving her hand towards him. She jumped into the deep waters as a great light appeared beneath her, the light spun around her leaving a trail of light each sparkles from the trail glimmered in the dark waters. The trail of light began to attach onto her legs and torso area. The gleamed brightly..as a coat of light began to cover her whole body. The lights dimmed once more....she returned into her real form, having a red, fire like tail...and a torso of a human.

The elven woman didn't know what to call the crew of the starship that carried the paramilitary company, the dozens of engineers and officers that made the repairs and navigated the ship the company used to get from planet to planet. Her pink tongue slipped out, wetted her ebony painted lips and she considered how she should best respond. For a moment she considered letting her master respond but he wasn't very good with people, that was her skill and half the reason he permitted her to be his apprentice.

"They were as you are but without armour," Assallya attempted to explain, "Perhaps they are the peasants that serve you or that you were meant to protec...?"

The elven woman's voice trailed off as she realized what she was insinuating. That would be rude. A noble lord would protect his vassals to his dying breath. To do otherwise would be a grievous dishonour. Or at least, it was to those of this realm; There were other realms, those controlled by the Daemon Lord that held different values.

"Your other companions," she added, changing the subject in case she had inflicted shame upon Rowan, "they slumber. When we found them, Myrkul, god of death was hovering at their side. While they slumber all their energy is devoted to healing. They would surely perish should they awaken. I apologize. It was the best I could do. I am an enchantress not a theurge."
