NAME: Arianna “Aria” Greyson
AGE: 22
GENDER: Female
OCCUPATION: Apprentice Photographer at The Studio.
HOME: Arianna lives on a small farm in the Farmlands with her older brother Reed.
APPEARANCE: (Going to draw her in Harvest Moon style, along with her brother. I just haven’t gotten to it as of yet.) Arianna stands at 5’6 with a pear shaped physique. Her skin is slightly tanned but it was once almost a golden tan before she left for the city to attend college. Aria’s face is oval shaped with thin lips and deep amber eyes that are framed by long lashes. She has chocolate brown hair that falls to the small of her back in thin wispy strands.
During warm weather her outfit consists of a pair of denim shorts that cut off just above the knee, a fitted tank top, and a pair of dark brown leather boots that stop halfway to her knee. During Cold weather it is replaced by a pair of faded denim jeans, a fitted long sleeve shirt, a scarf, and her usual dark brown leather boots.
The only other thing that she always wears, well at least outside of the house, is her brown satchel bag. It’s slightly worn from years of use and has a little ring of charms hooked to the strap, the charms being the harvest sprites and their respective bells. (Her brother calls it childish but it was something their grandma gave her when she was young.) Inside the bag is usually her camera, a sketch pad, and a pouch filled with her art supplies. (Pencils, erasers, coloring utensils…etc.)
PERSONALITY: Arianna is a cheerful girl who just enjoys life as a whole and she’s always up for trying new things. Not the most talkative person; she’d rather save her words for something more than idle gossip and enjoys listening to what others have to say. There are times though she can be completely oblivious to the world, but even when she’s spaced out she can tell when someone is down and will snap out of it just to help comfort them the best she can. She’s practically a people pleaser, however when she really believes in something she’ll fight for it.
Overall she’s mostly passive, choosing not to cause too much of a fuss over anything trifle. If you wrong those she cares about however you’ll be faced with something much more terrifying than a punch to the face. She knows how to use her words to cause certain affects, and in the case of her fury she can make you regret what was done just from a speech given in a calm tone. Lastly she’s extremely clumsy, tripping over her own feet more than over something else. It causes her issues but luckily she normally doesn’t break anything in the process, though she has gotten quite a number of cuts, bruises, and sprains from it.
When around animals she can come off as extremely childish, well unless it’s something potentially vicious. She enjoys feeding them treats, normally some vegetable or fruit she had with her, and has been seen with animals following her home on occasion, only for Reed to shoo them away. Alone though she completely zones out and talks to herself aloud.
HISTORY: Aria was born and raised in Harmonica town, growing up running through the fields of the Farmlands of the island. She never knew her father but her older brother, Reed, always told her that she wouldn’t have liked him. Her parents had divorced before she could completely remember and the years before that her mother spent with her parents. Aria’s mother was constantly distant up until the day she left for the city, two years after the divorce and just a little over five years after Arianna’s birth. She just packed up and left, leaving her two children in the care of their grandparents. The little girl hardly noticed her absence seeing as her mother had never really spent time with her any way. For this reason Arianna grew up raised by her grandparents, considering them the parents she never really had.
Aria attended classes in the small school next to Town Hall, enjoying her classes as much as a child could be expected. She would often stay behind with Reed to help the teachers clean up and then they’d both walk home, or run if it was growing to be late. When she was twelve her grandfather fell terminally ill, his lungs were growing too weak and they were slowly failing. He died not much later, leaving her brother the man of the house, but before he did he gave Aria his old Rangefire camera. After his death Reed became more protective of her, sometimes to the point of angering his sister. Her grandmother would just tut at him and let the girl continue with what she was doing. Over the next few years she became fascinated with her ‘new’ camera, taking it everywhere with her and snapping pictures of just about anything. The pictures would then be developed and stuck on the wall, making a giant collage of photos and moments captured on film. They would be set side by side with the sketches she had made since childhood.
By the time she was sixteen she knew she wanted to be a photographer, and during her senior year she received a large scholarship to a college out of town that was known for its art programs. Sadly before she graduated her grandmother passed away, it was peaceful and in her sleep but it left the two siblings on their own. Her brother had already decided to stay on the farm, he enjoyed it. In the end the property and everything on it went to them. Even so, after she graduated, she went off to the city for college. The classes were fine but she missed the countryside, her brother, and even more so, the stars. After four years she has graduated with a Major in Studio Art and a Minor in Photography. She has just recently moved back to the island, moving in with her brother, and gaining an apprenticeship at The Studio, the local photography studio.
LIKES: Aria likes peaceful days, horses, and strawberries. She absolutely loves painting, drawing, music, dances (Doesn’t mean she’s good at it), and most of all, stars.
DISLIKES: Arianna dislikes arguing, fights, turnips, being cooped up for too long, and storms. Her fears are drowning and being trapped in a small enclosed space.
FAMILY: Aria’s family is a bit spread out. Her mother and father live in separate cities miles away from Casanet. Her uncle, Jared, lives over in mineral town with his ten year old daughter, Nina, and his wife, Lea. Her older brother, Reed (27), lives in Castanet with her in their grandparents’ old farm.

NAME: Reed Greyson
AGE: 27
GENDER: Male
OCCUPATION: Traditional Farmer.
HOME: Owns a small farm in the Farmlands and lives there with his little sister Aria.
APPEARANCE: (Planning on doing both, going to redraw him.)Reed’s thin and slightly muscular frame stands at about 5’11. His skin is a deep tan color and normally has specks of dirt on his, especially on his hands and under his nails. He has a round face with a strong chin, thin lips, and dark brown eyes. His hair is a tangle of mousy brown hair with sun streaks running gold strands through the messy mop he calls hair.
Reed’s usual outfit is a pair of denim jeans, their knees usually stained by grass or mud that didn’t quite wash out, either a button up shirt or a slightly baggy t- shirt, and a pair of weathered leather boots. If he isn’t wearing that, which is not often, he’s wearing a pair of cargo pants and a plaid button up with his boots. (Sorry this is only two paragraphs but the third paragraph will be replaced with his picture… when I finish it…)
PERSONALITY: Reed is a hard worker, he would rather have something done right and take all day than do it poorly and be done early. He might not seem like it but he’s extremely talkative, lucky for everyone else he usually doesn’t have the time to talk someone’s ear off. Once he gets talking he might not stop. He has a temper though and, unlike his sister, he’s completely game for beating someone into a pulp. No matter how angry he gets though he’d never lay a hand against someone he cared for. It doesn’t help though that he’s hard headed and won’t take no for an answer, and if you call him out he might just give you more than you were asking for.
Overall the man isn’t the most welcoming at first glance, a scowl on his lip most of the time give him the look of a grump. Once you actually sit down and get to know him though he can actually be quite kind. He also has the issue of getting tongue tied around girls, other than his sister however. He just doesn’t know what to say so he just says nothing.
He’s alright with animals, other than his dog and a few harmless, non-crop eating, animals though he’d rather they stay off his property. He doesn’t like hurting them so he tries to avoid it. When he’s alone he just whistles and put his hands in his pocket, or continues working.
HISTORY: Reed was born in the city but when he was four his parents got into a fight. His mother packed that night and took his hand, leaving. She was pregnant, had been for several months. The two of them moved in with his grandparents in Harmonica town. He didn’t completely understand why they were here but he overheard his mother ranting about his father. Shortly after moving there his sister was born and their mother slowly stopped paying them any attention. He was almost ten when she left, and for the first few days all he did was hole up inside with a scowl on his face and tears in his eyes. Finally his grandfather walked over and asked if he wanted to help him with a “Man’s Job”, farming. Sure it was tiring work, but it gave him something to do other than sulk, plus it was rewarding.
When he wasn’t helping with the farm, or at school, he would wander the countryside or fish. There were times when he’d be gone all day. Other times he spent with his friends from town, or with his sister. On the weekends he often went swimming with the boys from school. That stopped though when his grandfather grew ill, before it became terminal Reed spent more and more time doing the farm work. Then it got worse when the man was bedridden, leaving the seventeen year old on his own to work the fields. Eventually though his grandfather passed on, making him the man of the house. It was then he realized his sister was growing up, she already had boys attempting (Though failing miserably) to flirt with her but she was oblivious. Even worse she started spending more and more time out of the house on her own, taking pictures or sketching. Reed became overprotective and often got yelled at by Aria and scolded by his grandmother.
After high school he went on to continue farming, content with the work. His sister wasn’t the same, she planned to go off and leave for the city and a part of him worried it would be for good. He was twenty one when he lost another member of his family, his grandmother passing away in her sleep and leaving him and his sister with the farm and everything on it. Even after that his sister left for college. Over the past four years he has read every letter Aria sent home, wondering if she’d come back. He kept farming, and ended up buying a puppy which he named Oscar. Now after four years Arianna has returned and he can’t understand what she sees in her ‘art’.
LIKES: Reed likes hard work, the feel of earth between his toes, and fishing. He really loves his dog Oscar, apple pie, and fresh omelets.
DISLIKES: Reed dislikes lazy days, bears, and his parents (This is due to them leaving them). He’s terrified of losing his sister and the dark.
FAMILY: Reed’s family is a bit spread out. His mother and father live in separate cities miles away from Castanet. His uncle, Jared, lives over in mineral town with his ten year old daughter, Nina, and his wife, Lea. His younger sister, Arianna (22), lives with him in their grandparents’ old farm.
